Erythropoietin-induced hepatocyte receptor A2(EphA2)is a receptor tyrosine kinase that plays a key role in the development and progression of a variety of tumors.This article reviews the expression of EphA2 in gastroi...Erythropoietin-induced hepatocyte receptor A2(EphA2)is a receptor tyrosine kinase that plays a key role in the development and progression of a variety of tumors.This article reviews the expression of EphA2 in gastrointestinal(GI)colorectal cancer(CRC)and its regulation of pyroptosis.Pyroptosis is a form of programmed cell death that plays an important role in tumor suppression.Studies have shown that EphA2 regulates pyrodeath through various signaling pathways,affecting the occurrence,development and metastasis of GI CRC.The overexpression of EphA2 is closely related to the aggressiveness and metastasis of GI CRC,and the inhibition of EphA2 can induce pyrodeath and improve the sensitivity of cancer cells to treatment.In addition,EphA2 regulates intercellular communication and the microenvironment through interactions with other cytokines and receptors,further influencing cancer progression.The role of EphA2 in GI CRC and its underlying mechanisms provide us with new perspectives and potential therapeutic targets,which have important implications for future cancer treatment.展开更多
In 2020,breast cancer emerged as the leading type of cancer worldwide,surpassing lung cancer in the number of new cases.The high cost and frequent failure of current treatments due to drug resistance and other challen...In 2020,breast cancer emerged as the leading type of cancer worldwide,surpassing lung cancer in the number of new cases.The high cost and frequent failure of current treatments due to drug resistance and other challenges underscore the urgent need for novel,affordable,efficient,and less toxic breast cancer therapies with fewer side effects.This study aims to investigate the molecular mechanisms by which Solanum Nigrum L.counters breast cancer,employing network pharmacology and molecular docking methods.Methods:The study identified the primary active compounds of Solanum Nigrum L.using databases such as TCMSP,TCM-ID,NPASS,and BATMAN.Prediction of the compounds'targets was facilitated by the SwissADME website,while main breast cancer targets were sourced from the GeneCards,OMIM,and TTD databases.The identified drug-disease intersection targets were analyzed using the STRING platform to construct a protein interaction network,which was then visualized and refined to select hub targets using Cytoscape 3.9.0 software.The Metascape database's MOCDE functional plugin was employed for identifying potential functional modules within the protein interaction network.Further,the DAVID database was utilized for GO and KEGG enrichment analyses of the intersection targets.Molecular docking of key active compounds with core targets was performed using AutoDock Tools 1.5.7 software.Lastly,the GEPIA2.0 database was used for predicting overall survival curves of hub targets and conducting a pan-cancer analysis.Results:Eleven active compounds of Solanum Nigrum L.,including Diosgenin,Tigogenin,and Quercetin,were identified from traditional Chinese medicine databases.We discovered 113 targets common to both Solanum Nigrum L.and breast cancer.Solanum Nigrum L.exhibits anti-breast cancer properties through interactions with 14 key targets,including SRC,PIK3R1,HSP90AA1,PIK3CA,AKT1,VEGFA,and ESR1.These interactions influence several critical signaling pathways,notably the cancer signaling pathway,PI3K-Akt signaling pathway,Ras signaling pathway,and EGFR signaling pathway.Survival analysis indicated that the aberrant expression of these 14 key targets significantly affects patient survival times.Furthermore,pan-cancer analysis highlighted marked differences in the expression patterns of these targets between breast cancer patients and control groups.Conclusion:Solanum Nigrum L.mediates its therapeutic impact on breast cancer through a comprehensive approach,targeting multiple components,targets,and pathways.展开更多

Atmospheric chemistry research has been growing rapidly in China in the last 25 years since the concept of the“air pollution complex”was first proposed by Professor Xiaoyan TANG in 1997.For papers published in 2021 ...Atmospheric chemistry research has been growing rapidly in China in the last 25 years since the concept of the“air pollution complex”was first proposed by Professor Xiaoyan TANG in 1997.For papers published in 2021 on air pollution(only papers included in the Web of Science Core Collection database were considered),more than 24000 papers were authored or co-authored by scientists working in China.In this paper,we review a limited number of representative and significant studies on atmospheric chemistry in China in the last few years,including studies on(1)sources and emission inventories,(2)atmospheric chemical processes,(3)interactions of air pollution with meteorology,weather and climate,(4)interactions between the biosphere and atmosphere,and(5)data assimilation.The intention was not to provide a complete review of all progress made in the last few years,but rather to serve as a starting point for learning more about atmospheric chemistry research in China.The advances reviewed in this paper have enabled a theoretical framework for the air pollution complex to be established,provided robust scientific support to highly successful air pollution control policies in China,and created great opportunities in education,training,and career development for many graduate students and young scientists.This paper further highlights that developing and low-income countries that are heavily affected by air pollution can benefit from these research advances,whilst at the same time acknowledging that many challenges and opportunities still remain in atmospheric chemistry research in China,to hopefully be addressed over the next few decades.展开更多

Firstly,three vectors for each text are formed: the personal name Boolean vectors denoting whether a personal name occurs the text the biographical word Boolean vector representing title, occupation and so forth, and the feature vector with real values. Then, by combining a heuristic strategy based on Boolean vectors with an agglomeratie clustering algorithm based on feature vectors, it seeks to resolve multi-document personal name coreference. Experimental results show that this approach achieves a good performance by testing on "Wang Gang" corpus.展开更多

BALB/c nude mice received injections of CD133+and CD133? cell suspensions prepared using human recurrent diffuse spinal cord astrocytoma tissue through administration into the right parietal lobe. After 7–11 weeks, magnetic resonance imaging was performed weekly. Xenografts were observed on the surfaces of the brains of mice receiving the CD133+ cell suspension, and Notch-immunopositive expression was observed in the xenografts. By contrast, no xenografts appeared in the identical position on the surfaces of the brains of mice receiving the CD133? cell suspension, and Notch-immunopositive expres-sion was hardly detected either. Hematoxylin-eosin staining and immunohistochemical staining revealed xenografts on the convex surfaces of the brains of mice that underwent CD133+ astro-cytoma transplantation. Some sporadic astroglioma cells showed pseudopodium-like structures, which extended into the cerebral white matter. However,it should be emphasized that the sub-cortex xenograft with Notch-immunopositive expression was found in the fourth mouse received injection of CD133? astrocytoma cells. However, these ifndings suggest that the Notch pathway plays an important role in the formation of astrocytomas, and can be considered a novel treat-ment target for diffuse spinal cord astrocytoma.展开更多

Methods: Clinical data from 178 cases of cerebellar infarction were collected with magnetic resonan...Objective: To investigate the characteristics of vascular lesions in patients with a cerebellar watershed infarction. Methods: Clinical data from 178 cases of cerebellar infarction were collected with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan results, including diffusion weighted imaging (DWI), a magnetic resonance angiography (MRA), and computed tomography angiography (CTA). The cases were divided into cerebellar watershed and non-watershed infarctions based on lesion location, which was revealed by DWI. Forty-two cases met the criteria for a cerebellar watershed infarction. Based on the MRA/CTA results, the vertebrobasilar artery stenoses were divided into four categories (i.e., intracranial, extracranial, combined, and no detectable stenosis) to compare the vascular lesion characteristics from patients with a cerebellar watershed infarction and patients with a non-watershed infarction. Results: Patients with cerebellar watershed infarcts presented mild symptoms at onset and had a favorable prognosis. However, 90.5% of these patients had a vascular stenosis, which was higher than for patients with a cerebellar non-watershed infarction (74.3%). The four types of vascular lesions, intracranial, extracranial, combined, and no detectable stenosis, were 14.3%, 52.4%, 23.8%, and 9.5% in patients with a cerebellar watershed infarction and 33.8%, 16.2%, 24.3%, and 25.7% in patients with a non-watershed cerebellar infarction, respectively. Conclusion: Although patients with cerebellar watershed infarcts often had comparatively benign clinical manifestations and prognoses, such patients also had a high stenosis prevalence in major blood vessels, especially the extracranial segment in the vertebral artery, which required early intervention and treatment.展开更多

文摘二维(2D)过渡金属氧化物(TMO)的地球丰度高,并且具有独特的物理化学性质和较好的催化性能,是新能源工业领域中非常有应用前景的电催化剂.然而,由于合成高质量和可控厚度的2D TMO具有一定的难度,目前有关2D TMO的微观电化学研究的报道较少.本文采用化学气相沉积法直接合成了2D钴铁氧体(CoFeO),所制得的2D CoFeO呈现结晶性良好的超薄尖晶石结构,其最薄厚度可达到6.8 nm.采用超微电极测试平台考察了碱性条件下2DCoFeO催化析氧反应(OER)的性能.结果表明,2D CoFeO(111)面在10 m Acm^(-2)的电流密度下表现出330 m V的低过电位,在570 m V的过电位下表现出142 m Acm^(-2)的高电流密度.密度泛函理论计算发现2DCoFeO表面上的双金属位点降低了反应能垒.此外,2DCoFeO的超薄厚度使体电阻率降低,同时增加了活性位点的利用率,进而提高了对OER的催化活性,这与在超微电极平台上测得的2D CoFeO厚度-OER活性依赖关系的结果一致.本研究还合成了大面积的2D CoFeO薄膜,其标准三电极体系研究表明2D CoFeO样品仍然表现出较高的催化OER活性和较好的寿命,说明所制备的2D CoFeO具有较好的实际应用潜力.综上,本文采用气相化学沉积法直接合成了超薄2DCoFeO纳米片,其最薄厚度可达6.8 nm,2DCoFeO表现出良好的OER性能,为2DTMOs电催化剂的可控合成开辟了新途径.此外,本文还分析了2DCoFeO电催化OER反应的机理,为二维电催化剂设计提供了新思路.
