The symposium was co-sponsored by the Subcommission on Permian Stratigraphy, Subcommission on Triassic Stratigraphy, IGCP-467, Task Group on Induan-Olenekian Boundary, NSF-CHRONOS Project, as well as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and China National Commission of Stratigraphy.
