With the advantage of fast charge transfer,heterojunction engineering is identified as a viable method to reinforce the anodes'sodium storage performance.Also,vacancies can effectively strengthen the Na+adsorption ability and provide extra active sites for Na+adsorption.However,their synchronous engineering is rarely reported.Herein,a hybrid of Co_(0.85)Se/WSe_(2) heterostructure with Se vacancies and N-doped carbon polyhedron(CoWSe/NCP)has been fabricated for the first time via a hydrothermal and subsequent selenization strategy.Spherical aberration-corrected transmission electron microscopy confirms the phase interface of the Co_(0.85)Se/WSe_(2) heterostructure and the existence of Se vacancies.Density functional theory simulations reveal the accelerated charge transfer and enhanced Na+adsorption ability,which are contributed by the Co_(0.85)Se/WSe_(2) heterostructure and Se vacancies,respectively.As expected,the CoWSe/NCP anode in sodium-ion battery achieves outstanding rate capability(339.6 mAh g^(−1) at 20 A g^(−1)),outperforming almost all Co/W-based selenides. 展开更多

In response to the rapid increase in world population and subsequent demands for food,edible insects represent an alternative food source for humans that is rich in proteins,amino acids and minerals.Entomophagy is a tradition in many countries including China and Thailand,and edible insects have attracted a lot of attention in Western World due to their suitable nutrient composition,high mineral content(e.g.,Fe,Zn,Ca,Mg)and potential use as a supplement in human diet.In this study,we surveyed mineral content in seven insect orders and 67 species of mass produced and wild-harvested edible insects.The total content of essential elements in edible insects was very high in Tenebrio molitor,Bombyx mori,and Zonocerus variegatus.The heavy metal content(summarized for eight species)was below the maximum limit allowed for safe consumption.Sustainable supply of minerals derived from insect biomass is complicated due to the high variations of mineral content in insects and the potential of its change due to processing. 展开更多

Objective: To investigate the application and feasibility of PDCA circulation method in the treatment of patients with severe neurological diseases in Internet + smart first aid, with a view to promoting the sustainable construction of smart first aid. Methods: A total of 105 patients with severe neurological diseases in Zhuji people’s Hospital and cooperative units were selected, and 52 cases in the research group and 53 cases in the control group were divided according to the single and double number visiting time: In this paper, through reading the literature, the development of Internet + wisdom first aid treatment of patients with severe neurological diseases was investigated, and the common problems were analyzed and summarized, and the research group used the PDCA circulation method to sort out the existing problems, analyze the causes of the problems and improve them. The difference in treatment time between the two groups was compared, and the patient’s satisfaction was evaluated for the time of being transferred to the hospital emergency room by 120 ambulances, the time from emergency admission to surgery (Cath lab), and the satisfaction of the patient. Results: The time from emergency treatment to the operation room (catheter room) in the study group was significantly shortened, and patient satisfaction was significantly improved compared with that in the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P Conclusion: Through the application of PDCA circulation method in the Internet + smart emergency treatment of neurologically severe preoperative patients, the Internet + smart emergency mode can be continuously improved, the treatment process can be significantly optimized, the first aid time can be shortened, and the treatment efficiency of neurocritical ill patients can be improved. DiTing:A large-scale Chinese seismic benchmark dataset for artificial intelligence in seismology 被引量:3

In recent years,artificial intelligence technology has exhibited great potential in seismic signal recognition,setting off a new wave of research.Vast amounts of high-quality labeled data are required to develop and apply artificial intelligence in seismology research.In this study,based on the 2013–2020 seismic cataloging reports of the China Earthquake Networks Center,we constructed an artificial intelligence seismological training dataset(“DiTing”)with the largest known total time length.Data were recorded using broadband and short-period seismometers.The obtained dataset included 2,734,748 threecomponent waveform traces from 787,010 regional seismic events,the corresponding P-and S-phase arrival time labels,and 641,025 P-wave first-motion polarity labels.All waveforms were sampled at 50 Hz and cut to a time length of 180 s starting from a random number of seconds before the occurrence of an earthquake.Each three-component waveform contained a considerable amount of descriptive information,such as the epicentral distance,back azimuth,and signal-to-noise ratios.The magnitudes of seismic events,epicentral distance,signal-to-noise ratio of P-wave data,and signal-to-noise ratio of S-wave data ranged from 0 to 7.7,0 to 330 km,–0.05 to 5.31 dB,and–0.05 to 4.73 dB,respectively.The dataset compiled in this study can serve as a high-quality benchmark for machine learning model development and data-driven seismological research on earthquake detection,seismic phase picking,first-motion polarity determination,earthquake magnitude prediction,early warning systems,and strong ground-motion prediction.Such research will further promote the development and application of artificial intelligence in seismology. 展开更多

BACKGROUND The relationship between copeptin and the severity of circulatory dysfunction and systemic stress response in patients with chronic liver disease(CLD)has been established.Nevertheless,the potential of serum copeptin levels to predict the prognosis of CLD patients remains unclear.AIM To conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis to investigate the correlation between serum copeptin and transplant-free survival(TFS)in this population.METHODS To achieve the objective of the meta-analysis,PubMed,Embase,the Cochrane Library,and the Web of Science were searched to identify observational studies with longitudinal follow-up.The Cochrane Q test was utilized to assess betweenstudy heterogeneity,and the I2 statistic was estimated.Random-effects models were employed to combine the outcomes,taking into account the potential influence of heterogeneity.RESULTS Ten datasets including 3133 patients were involved.The follow-up durations were 1 to 48 mo(mean:12.5 mo).Overall,it was shown that a high level of serum copeptin was associated with a poor TFS[risk ratio(RR):1.82,95%confidence interval:1.52-2.19,P<0.001;I2=0%].In addition,sensitivity analysis by omitting one dataset at a time showed consistent results(RR:1.73-2.00,P<0.05).Finally,subgroup analyses according to study country,study design,patient diagnosis,cutoff of copeptin,follow-up duration,and study quality score also showed similar results(P for subgroup difference all>0.05).CONCLUSION Patients with CLD who have high serum copeptin concentrations may be associated with a poor clinical prognosis. 展开更多

The number of people with eye diseases has increased with the use of electronics.However,the bioavailability of eye drops remains low owing to the presence of the ocular barrier and other reasons.Although many drug delivery systems have been developed to overcome these problems,they have certain limitations.In recent years,the development of contact lenses that can deliver drugs for long periods with high bioavailability and without affecting vision has increased the interest in using contact lenses for drug delivery.Hence,a review of the current state of research on drug delivery contact lenses has become crucial.This article reviews the key physical and chemical properties of drug-laden contact lenses,development and classification of contact lenses,and features of the commonly used materials.A review of the methods commonly used in current research to create contact lenses has also been presented.An overview on how drug-laden contact lenses can overcome the problems of high burst and short release duration has been discussed.Overall,the review focuses on drug delivery methods using smart contact lenses,and predicts the future direction of research on contact lenses. 展开更多

For problems such as dysphagia and dyspnea of these patients, the nursing care focused on strict monitoring, timely oxygen inhalation nursing, posture nursing, ventilator nursing, swallowing function training, etc. <strong>Results:</strong> After received quantitative care, 10 patients with lower cranial nerves injury after cerebellopontine angle tumors surgery were recovered well, and their symptoms such as dysphagia and dyspnea were gradually improved and safely discharged. <strong>Conclusion:</strong> Lower cranial nerves injury is one of the serious complications after removal of cerebellopontine angle tumors, which impacts the life and health of patients. Caregivers should accurately understand and analyze the symptoms, and quantitative and targeted nursing measures for posterior cranial nerves injury are helpful in the postoperative rehabilitation of patients and improve their living quality. 展开更多

Objective: Severe traumatic brain injury (sTBI) is one of the common acute and critical diseases in neurosurgery. So we aim to explore the clinical effectiveness of an intelligent emergency care model in patients with severe traumatic brain injury. Methods: Eighty patients with severe traumatic brain injury (sTBI) who were treated in Zhuji People’s Hospital of Zhejiang Province from January 2019 to December 2021 were selected as the study subjects. The patients were divided into an observation group and a control group with 40 patients in each group according to the random number table method. Patients in the control group received conventional first-aid nursing mode intervention, and the intelligent emergency nursing mode was used for the observation group based on the control group. Comparisons were conducted between the two groups on the time of arrival to the emergency room, the time from the emergency room to the operating room, Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score before surgery, GCS score when leaving the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), the average length of ICU stay, the average length of hospital stay, the total hospital costs. Results: The time of arrival to the emergency room, the time from the emergency room to the operating room, the average length of ICU stay, the average length of hospital stay, and the total hospital costs in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (All P Conclusion: Intelligent emergency nursing mode can shorten the time of sTBI rescue, the length of ICU stay, and the average length of hospital stay, reduce the total hospitalization cost, improve the prognosis, with good efficacy, reduce the total cost of hospitalization, and improve the prognosis with better efficacy. 展开更多

光催化是一种理想的应对全球能源短缺和环境污染问题的绿色化学技术,可以实现有机物降解、水分解和二氧化碳光还原等.光催化反应效率受诸多因素影响,其中光生载流子(电子和空穴)的分离和传输具有至关重要的作用.以往研究表明,构筑多元... 光催化是一种理想的应对全球能源短缺和环境污染问题的绿色化学技术,可以实现有机物降解、水分解和二氧化碳光还原等.光催化反应效率受诸多因素影响,其中光生载流子(电子和空穴)的分离和传输具有至关重要的作用.以往研究表明,构筑多元复合光催化材料体系有利于光生电子和空穴有效分离和传递,促进催化剂表面的还原和氧化反应,从而提高其光催化效率.基于以上考虑,我们提出了一种新型的石墨烯/电气石/TiO_2三元复合光催化材料体系,其中TiO_2因其价格低廉、无毒和抗光腐蚀等优点而被广泛用作光催化材料;石墨烯(G)拥有独特的二维结构、高的电子迁移率、大的比表面积,是一种优异的催化剂载体;电气石(T)的一个重要性质是表面存在自发极化的静电场,该静电场将会影响光激发载流子的分离、传递和光催化反应过程.利用水热法合成了不同成分的石墨烯/电气石/TiO_2三元复合材料体系.为了对比研究石墨烯表面电荷性质的影响,其中一组的石墨烯(氧化石墨)为直接采用改良的Hummers法所制备,其表面带负电;另一组的石墨烯经聚二烯丙基二甲基氯化铵(PDDA)修饰,使其表面带正电.X射线衍射结果显示,三元复合材料中TiO_2为锐钛矿相,其结晶性没有因为与石墨烯和电气石的复合而受到影响.扫描和透射电子显微分析表明,TiO_2的平均颗粒大小为15 nm左右,并且与石墨烯和电气石均匀复合.傅里叶变换红外光谱和zeta电位表征分析证实,PDDA可以有效地对石墨烯进行功能化改性,使其表面带正电.紫外-可见分光光谱显示,石墨烯/电气石/TiO_2三元复合材料与TiO_2的吸收带边一致,复合材料中石墨烯和电气石并没有改变TiO_2的光吸收特征.光催化降解异丙醇实验表明,石墨烯/电气石/TiO_2三元复合材料优于单纯的TiO_2、石墨烯/TiO_2以及电气石/TiO_2二元复合材料,当石墨烯和电气石的质量百分比分别为0.5%和5%时,三元复合材料降解异丙醇产生丙酮的速率达到最高(223μmol/h).特别值得指出的是,由表面带负电的石墨烯组成的复合材料比由带正电荷的PDDA-石墨烯组成的复合材料具有更高的光催化性能,原因如下:在水溶液中显示正zeta电位值的TiO_2与带负电的石墨烯/电气石复合物静电吸引而均匀紧密复合,有利于TiO 2中光生电子和空穴的快速分离和传递,从而使得石墨烯/电气石/TiO_2三元复合材料具有较高的光催化性能;而带正电的PDDA-石墨烯/电气石复合物和TiO_2颗粒相互排斥而不宜复合,导致PDDA-石墨烯基复合材料的光催化活性降低.机理研究揭示,在三元复合材料光催化降解异丙醇的反应中起主要作用的是光生电子和空穴.基于以上研究结果,我们提出了三元复合材料光催化降解异丙醇的反应机理. 展开更多

Pt^(0)被认为是NO氧化的活性物种,而催化剂的制备方法对活性物种的含量起着决定性作用。本文采用非惰性气氛保护的改性醇还原-浸渍法(MARI)合成了高分散高Pt^(0)含量的1%(w,质量分数)Pt/SiO_(2)―Al_(2)O_(3)催化剂(MA-Pt/SA)。X射线粉末衍射(XRD)、CO-漫反射傅里叶变换红外吸收光谱(CO-DRIFTS)和透射电镜(TEM)表征证实在550℃焙烧3 h后催化剂的Pt颗粒仅有3.8 nm。同时,X射线光电子能谱(XPS)和H_(2)-程序升温还原(H_(2)-TPR)结果表明催化剂具有高Pt^(0)含量(60.3%)。模拟柴油车尾气气氛进行活性测试,并与传统浸渍法制备的1%(w)Pt/SiO_(2)―Al_(2)O_(3)催化剂(C-Pt/SA)对比,结果显示MA-Pt/SA具有优异的催化氧化性能,其NO最大转化率高达74%,比C-Pt/SA的NO转化率高了23%。经670℃高温老化15 h后,老化的MA-Pt/SA的NO转化率仍然高达69%。此外NO+O_(2)共吸附原位漫反射傅里叶变换红外吸收光谱(in situ DRIFTS of NO+O_(2) co-adsorption)表明高的Pt分散度和高Pt^(0)含量能够促进中间物种桥式硝酸盐的生成及分解,进而导致了优异的NO氧化活性。最后,利用同样方法将Pt的负载量降低至0.5%(w)制备催化剂,NO转化率仍达64%。这种制备方法能够获得低贵金属高性能的Pt基催化剂。 展开更多

A two-year field experiment(2012–2013) was conducted to investigate the effects of two tillage methods and five maize straw mulching patterns on the yield, water consumption,and water use efficiency(WUE) of spring maize(Zea mays L.) in the northern Huang–Huai–Hai valley of China. Compared to rotary tillage, subsoil tillage resulted in decreases in water consumption by 6.3–7.8% and increases in maize yield by 644.5–673.9 kg ha-1, soil water content by 2.9–3.0%, and WUE by 12.7–15.2%. Chopped straw mulching led to higher yield,soil water content, and WUE as well as lower water consumption than prostrate whole straw mulching. Mulching with 50% chopped straw had the largest positive effects on maize yield, soil water content, and WUE among the five mulching treatments. Tillage had greater influence on maize yield than straw mulching, whereas straw mulching had greater influence on soil water content, water consumption, and WUE than tillage. These results suggest that 50% chopped straw mulching with subsoil tillage is beneficial in spring maize production aiming at high yield and high WUE in the Huang–Huai–Hai valley. 展开更多

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy of α-lipoic acid(ALA) plus epalrestat combination therapy in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN). DATA SOURCES: The electronic databases of Pub Med, Medline, Embase, the Cochrane Library, the Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure, the Wanfang Database and the Chinese Biomedical Database were used to retrieve relevant studies without language restrictions. The search was conducted from the inception of each database to 7 October 2016. The key terms were(diabetic peripheral neuropathy or diabetic neuropathy or DPN) AND(α-lipoic acid or lipoic acid or thioctic acid) AND epalrestat. DATA SELECTION: All of the eligible studies met the following inclusion criteria:(1) Randomized controlled trials that compared efficacy and safety of epalrestat plus ALA combination therapy versus epalrestat or ALA monotherapy in patients with DPN.(2) The minimum duration of treatment was 2 weeks.(3) The DPN patients were diagnosed using the World Health Organization standardized type 2 diabetes mellitus and DPN criteria.(4) Studies contained at least one measure that could reflect the efficacy of the drug and nerve conduction velocities. Studies in which the control group used epalrestat or ALA combined with other drugs were excluded. Statistical analyses were performed using STATA software for meta-analysis. OUTCOME MEASURES: The primary outcomes were the therapeutic efficacy, median motor nerve conduction velocity(MNCV), median sensory nerve conduction velocity(SNCV), peroneal MNCV and peroneal SNCV.RESULTS: Twenty studies with 1894 DPN patients were included, including 864 patients in the ALA plus epalrestat group, 473 in the ALA group and 557 in the epalrestat group. The efficacy of ALA plus epalrestat combination therapy was superior to ALA and epalrestat monotherapies(RR = 1.29, 95% CI: 1.21–1.38; RR = 1.43, 95% CI: 1.34–1.54, respectively). ALA plus epalrestat combination therapy also significantly improved median MNCV(WMD = 5.41, 95% CI: 2.07–8.75), median SNCV(WMD = 5.87, 95% CI: 1.52–10.22), peroneal MNCV(WMD = 5.59, 95% CI: 2.70–8.47) and peroneal SNCV(WMD = 4.57, 95% CI: 2.46–6.68).CONCLUSION: ALA plus epalrestat combination therapy was superior to ALA and epalrestat monotherapies for clinical efficacy and nerve conduction velocities in patients with DPN. 展开更多

The validity of acupuncture as a traditional Chinese medicine method in peripheral nerve repair is well established. However, its efficacy in randomized controlled trials remains unclear. Herein, we designed a protocol for a prospective, single-center, randomized controlled trial to investigate the effect of intraorbital electroacupuncture on diabetic ANP. We plan to recruit 60 patients with diabetic ANP, and randomly divide them into treatment and control groups. Patients in both groups will continue their glucose-lowering therapy. A neural nutrition drug will be given to both groups for six weeks. The treatment group will also receive intraorbital electroacupuncture therapy. We will assess efficacy of treatment, eyeball movement, diplopia deviation and the levels of fasting blood-glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin before treatment at 2, 4, and 6 weeks after treatment. The efficacy and recurrence will be investigated during follow-up(1 month after intervention). This protocol was registered at Chinese Clinical Trial Registry on 16 January 2015(Chi CTR-IPR-15005836). This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University of China(approval number: 201452). All protocols will be in accordance with Declaration of Helsinki, formulated by the World Medical Association. Written informed consent will be provided by participants. We envisage that the results of this clinical trial will provide evidence for promoting clinical use of this new therapy for management of ANP. 展开更多

Variation in weather conditions during grain filling has substantial effects on maize kernel weight(KW). The objective of this work was to characterize variation in KW with sowing date-associated weather conditions and examine the relationship between KW, grain filling parameters, and weather factors. Maize was sown on eight sowing dates(SD) at 15–20-day intervals from mid-March to mid-July during 2012 and 2013 in the North China Plain. With sowing date delay, KW increased initially and later declined, and the greatest KW was obtained at SD6 in both years. The increased KW at SD6 was attributed mainly to kernel growth rate(Gmean), and effective grain-filling period(P). Variations in temperature and radiation were the primary factors that influenced KW and grain-filling parameters. When the effective cumulative temperature(AT) and radiation(Ra)during grain filling were 950 °C and 1005.4 MJ m-2, respectively, P and KW were greatest. High temperatures(daily maximum temperature [Tmax] > 30.2 °C) during grain filling under early sowing conditions, or low temperatures(daily minimum temperature [Tmin] < 20.7 °C) under late sowing conditions combined with high diurnal temperature range(Tmax-min> 7.1 °C) decreased kernel growth rate and ultimately final KW. When sowing was performed from May 25 through June 27, higher KW and yield of maize were obtained. We conclude that variations in environmental conditions(temperature and radiation) during grain filling markedly affect growth rate and duration of grain filling and eventually affect kernel weight and yield of maize. 展开更多

AIM:To observe the apoptosis and oncosis of pancreatic acinar cells and secondary inflammatory reaction in pancreatic tissue from rats with acute pancreatitis(AP),and the influences of artemisinin on them.METHODS:AP was induced by 4 intraperitoneal injections of caerulein at 1 h intervals.To induce apoptosis,solution of artemisinin(50 mg/kg)was given intraperitoneally 1,12,24 and 36 h after the last caerulein injection.Histological examination of impairment of pancreatic tissue and detection of serum amylase were performed to evaluate the severity of acute pancreatitis.Apoptosis and oncosis were detected with acridine orange(AO)and ethylene dibromide(EB)staining.Caspase-3 and myeloperoxidase(MPO)activity were measured by colorimetric assay.Nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB)activation was detected by flow cytometry.Macrophage inflammatory protein-1α(MIP-1α)protein was measured by Western blot.Interleukin-1β(IL-1β)mRNA was detected by RT-PCR.RESULTS:Addition of artemisinin increased the number of apoptotic cells(11.7% ± 1.4% vs 6.3% ± 0.7%,P < 0.05),while reduced the number of oncotic cells(13.0% ± 2.4% vs 17.5% ± 2.2%,P < 0.05).The activity of caspase-3 speeded up(1.52 ± 0.21 vs 1.03 ± 0.08,P < 0.05),the pancreas pathological impairment was relieved(3.0 ± 0.5 vs 4.0 ± 0.5,P < 0.05)and the level of serum amylase decreased(5642 ± 721 U/dL vs 7821 ± 653 U/dL,P < 0.05).The activation of NF-κB(29% ± 4.1% vs 42% ± 5.8%),MIP-1α protein(3.7 ± 0.5 vs 5.8 ± 0.7),MPO(0.52 ± 0.06 U/g vs 0.68 ± 0.09 U/g),IL-1β mRNA(1.7 ± 0.3 vs 2.4 ± 0.4)in the apoptosis inducing group was obviously decreased(P < 0.05).CONCLUSION:Inducing apoptosis can relieve pathological impairment and inflammatory reaction in AP rats. 展开更多
