This study proposes a hybridization of two efficient algorithm’s Multi-objective Ant Lion Optimizer Algorithm(MOALO)which is a multi-objective enhanced version of the Ant Lion Optimizer Algorithm(ALO)and the Genetic Algorithm(GA).MOALO version has been employed to address those problems containing many objectives and an archive has been employed for retaining the non-dominated solutions.The uniqueness of the hybrid is that the operators like mutation and crossover of GA are employed in the archive to update the solutions and later those solutions go through the process of MOALO.A first-time hybrid of these algorithms is employed to solve multi-objective problems.The hybrid algorithm overcomes the limitation of ALO of getting caught in the local optimum and the requirement of more computational effort to converge GA.To evaluate the hybridized algorithm’s performance,a set of constrained,unconstrained test problems and engineering design problems were employed and compared with five well-known computational algorithms-MOALO,Multi-objective Crystal Structure Algorithm(MOCryStAl),Multi-objective Particle Swarm Optimization(MOPSO),Multi-objective Multiverse Optimization Algorithm(MOMVO),Multi-objective Salp Swarm Algorithm(MSSA).The outcomes of five performance metrics are statistically analyzed and the most efficient Pareto fronts comparison has been obtained.The proposed hybrid surpasses MOALO based on the results of hypervolume(HV),Spread,and Spacing.So primary objective of developing this hybrid approach has been achieved successfully.The proposed approach demonstrates superior performance on the test functions,showcasing robust convergence and comprehensive coverage that surpasses other existing algorithms. 展开更多

The early implementation of treatment therapies necessitates the swift and precise identification of COVID-19 pneumonia by the analysis of chest CT scans.This study aims to investigate the indispensable need for precise and interpretable diagnostic tools for improving clinical decision-making for COVID-19 diagnosis.This paper proposes a novel deep learning approach,called Conformer Network,for explainable discrimination of viral pneumonia depending on the lung Region of Infections(ROI)within a single modality radiographic CT scan.Firstly,an efficient U-shaped transformer network is integrated for lung image segmentation.Then,a robust transfer learning technique is introduced to design a robust feature extractor based on pre-trained lightweight Big Transfer(BiT-L)and finetuned on medical data to effectively learn the patterns of infection in the input image.Secondly,this work presents a visual explanation method to guarantee clinical explainability for decisions made by Conformer Network.Experimental evaluation of real-world CT data demonstrated that the diagnostic accuracy of ourmodel outperforms cutting-edge studies with statistical significance.The Conformer Network achieves 97.40% of detection accuracy under cross-validation settings.Our model not only achieves high sensitivity and specificity but also affords visualizations of salient features contributing to each classification decision,enhancing the overall transparency and trustworthiness of our model.The findings provide obvious implications for the ability of our model to empower clinical staff by generating transparent intuitions about the features driving diagnostic decisions. 展开更多

Sleep apnea syndrome(SAS)is a breathing disorder while a person is asleep.The traditional method for examining SAS is Polysomnography(PSG).The standard procedure of PSG requires complete overnight observation in a laboratory.PSG typically provides accurate results,but it is expensive and time consuming.However,for people with Sleep apnea(SA),available beds and laboratories are limited.Resultantly,it may produce inaccurate diagnosis.Thus,this paper proposes the Internet of Medical Things(IoMT)framework with a machine learning concept of fully connected neural network(FCNN)with k-near-est neighbor(k-NN)classifier.This paper describes smart monitoring of a patient’s sleeping habit and diagnosis of SA using FCNN-KNN+average square error(ASE).For diagnosing SA,the Oxygen saturation(SpO2)sensor device is popularly used for monitoring the heart rate and blood oxygen level.This diagnosis information is securely stored in the IoMT fog computing network.Doctors can care-fully monitor the SA patient remotely on the basis of sensor values,which are efficiently stored in the fog computing network.The proposed technique takes less than 0.2 s with an accuracy of 95%,which is higher than existing models. 展开更多

The ability of any steganography system to correctly retrieve the secret message is the primary criterion for measuring its efficiency.Recently,researchers have tried to generate a new natural image driven from only the secret message bits rather than using a cover to embed the secret message within it;this is called the stego image.This paper proposes a new secured coverless steganography system using a generative mathematical model based on semi Quick Response(QR)code and maze game image generation.This system consists of two components.The first component contains two processes,encryption process,and hiding process.The encryption process encrypts secret message bits in the form of a semi-QR code image whereas the hiding process conceals the pregenerated semi-QR code in the generated maze game image.On the other hand,the second component contains two processes,extraction and decryption,which are responsible for extracting the semi-QR code from the maze game image and then retrieving the original secret message from the extracted semi-QR code image,respectively.The results were obtained using the bit error rate(BER)metric.These results confirmed that the system achieved high hiding capacity,good performance,and a high level of robustness against attackers compared with other coverless steganography methods. 展开更多

Wireless Sensor Network(WSN)technology is the real-time applica-tion that is growing rapidly as the result of smart environments.Battery power is one of the most significant resources in WSN.For enhancing a power factor,the clustering techniques are used.During the forward of data in WSN,more power is consumed.In the existing system,it works with Load Balanced Cluster-ing Method(LBCM)and provides the lifespan of the network with scalability and reliability.In the existing system,it does not deal with end-to-end delay and deliv-ery of packets.For overcoming these issues in WSN,the proposed Genetic Algo-rithm based on Chicken Swarm Optimization(GA-CSO)with Load Balanced Clustering Method(LBCM)is used.Genetic Algorithm generates chromosomes in an arbitrary method then the chromosomes values are calculated using Fitness Function.Chicken Swarm Optimization(CSO)helps to solve the complex opti-mization problems.Also,it consists of chickens,hens,and rooster.It divides the chicken into clusters.Load Balanced Clustering Method(LBCM)maintains the energy during communication among the sensor nodes and also it balances the load in the gateways.The proposed GA-CSO with LBCM improves the life-span of the network.Moreover,it minimizes the energy consumption and also bal-ances the load over the network.The proposed method outperforms by using the following metrics such as energy efficiency,ratio of packet delivery,throughput of the network,lifetime of the sensor nodes.Therefore,the evaluation result shows the energy efficiency that has achieved 83.56%and the delivery ratio of the packet has reached 99.12%.Also,it has attained linear standard deviation and reduced the end-to-end delay as 97.32 ms. 展开更多

The conventional hospital environment is transformed into digital transformation that focuses on patient centric remote approach through advanced technologies.Early diagnosis of many diseases will improve the patient life.The cost of health care systems is reduced due to the use of advanced technologies such as Internet of Things(IoT),Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN),Embedded systems,Deep learning approaches and Optimization and aggregation methods.The data generated through these technologies will demand the bandwidth,data rate,latency of the network.In this proposed work,efficient discrete grey wolf optimization(DGWO)based data aggregation scheme using Elliptic curve Elgamal with Message Authentication code(ECEMAC)has been used to aggregate the parameters generated from the wearable sensor devices of the patient.The nodes that are far away from edge node will forward the data to its neighbor cluster head using DGWO.Aggregation scheme will reduce the number of transmissions over the network.The aggregated data are preprocessed at edge node to remove the noise for better diagnosis.Edge node will reduce the overhead of cloud server.The aggregated data are forward to cloud server for central storage and diagnosis.This proposed smart diagnosis will reduce the transmission cost through aggrega-tion scheme which will reduce the energy of the system.Energy cost for proposed system for 300 nodes is 0.34μJ.Various energy cost of existing approaches such as secure privacy preserving data aggregation scheme(SPPDA),concealed data aggregation scheme for multiple application(CDAMA)and secure aggregation scheme(ASAS)are 1.3μJ,0.81μJ and 0.51μJ respectively.The optimization approaches and encryption method will ensure the data privacy. 展开更多

Health care visualization through Internet of Things(IoT)over wireless sensor network(WSN)becomes a current research attention due to medical sensor evolution of devices.The digital technology-based communication system is widely used in all application.Internet of medical thing(IoMT)assisted health-care application ensures the continuous health monitoring of a patient and provides the early awareness of the one who is suffered without human participation.These smart medical devices may consume with limited resources and also the data generated by these devices are large in size.These IoMT based applications suffer from the issues such as security,anonymity,privacy,and interoper-ability.To overcome these issues,data aggregation methods are the solution that can concatenate the data generated by the sensors and forward it into the base station through fog node with efficient encryption and decryption.This article proposed a well-organized data aggregation and secured transmission approach.The data generated by the sensor are collected and compressed.Aggregator nodes(AN)received the compressed data and concatenate it.The concatenated and encrypted data is forward to fog node using the enhanced Paillier cryptogra-phy-based encryption with Message Authentication code(MAC).Fog node extracts the forwarded data from AN using Fog message extractor method(FME)with decryption.The proposed system ensures data integrity,security and also protects from security threats.This proposed model is simulated in Net-work Simulator 2.35 and the evaluated simulation results proves that the aggregation with MAC code will ensures the security,privacy and also reduces the communication cost.Fog node usages in between Aggregator and base station,will reduce the cloud server/base station computational overhead and storage cost.The proposed ideology is compared with existing data aggregation schemes in terms of computational cost,storage cost,communication cost and energy cost.Cost of communication takes 18.7 ms which is much lesser than existing schemes. 展开更多

Today social media became a communication line among people to share their happiness,sadness,and anger with their end-users.It is necessary to know people’s emotions are very important to identify depressed people from their messages.Early depression detection helps to save people’s lives and other dangerous mental diseases.There are many intelligent algorithms for predicting depression with high accuracy,but they lack the definition of such cases.Several machine learning methods help to identify depressed people.But the accuracy of existing methods was not satisfactory.To overcome this issue,the deep learning method is used in the proposed method for depression detection.In this paper,a novel Deep Learning Multi-Aspect Depression Detection with Hierarchical Atten-tion Network(MDHAN)is used for classifying the depression data.Initially,the Twitter data was preprocessed by tokenization,punctuation mark removal,stop word removal,stemming,and lemmatization.The Adaptive Particle and grey Wolf optimization methods are used for feature selection.The MDHAN classifies the Twitter data and predicts the depressed and non-depressed users.Finally,the proposed method is compared with existing methods such as Convolutional Neur-al Network(CNN),Support Vector Machine(SVM),Minimum Description Length(MDL),and MDHAN.The suggested MDH-PWO architecture gains 99.86%accuracy,more significant than frequency-based deep learning models,with a lower false-positive rate.The experimental result shows that the proposed method achieves better accuracy,precision,recall,and F1-measure.It also mini-mizes the execution time. 展开更多

One of the significant health issues affecting women that impacts their fertility and results in serious health concerns is Polycystic ovarian syndrome(PCOS).Consequently,timely screening of polycystic ovarian syndrome can help in the process of recovery.Finding a method to aid doctors in this procedure was crucial due to the difficulties in detecting this condition.This research aimed to determine whether it is possible to optimize the detection of PCOS utilizing Deep Learning algorithms and methodologies.Additionally,feature selection methods that produce the most important subset of features can speed up calculation and enhance the effectiveness of classifiers.In this research,the tri-stage wrapper method is used because it reduces the computation time.The proposed study for the Automatic diagnosis of PCOS contains preprocessing,data normalization,feature selection,and classification.A dataset with 39 characteristics,including metabolism,neuroimaging,hormones,and biochemical information for 541 subjects,was employed in this scenario.To start,this research pre-processed the information.Next for feature selection,a tri-stage wrapper method such as Mutual Information,ReliefF,Chi-Square,and Xvariance is used.Then,various classification methods are tested and trained.Deep learning techniques including convolutional neural network(CNN),multi-layer perceptron(MLP),Recurrent neural network(RNN),and Bi long short-term memory(Bi-LSTM)are utilized for categorization.The experimental finding demonstrates that with effective feature extraction process using tri stage wrapper method+CNN delivers the highest precision(97%),high accuracy(98.67%),and recall(89%)when compared with other machine learning algorithms. 展开更多

Smart cities make use of a variety of smart technology to improve societies in better ways.Such intelligent technologies,on the other hand,pose sig-nificant concerns in terms of power usage and emission of carbons.The suggested study is focused on technological networks for big data-driven systems.With the support of software-defined technologies,a transportation-aided multicast routing system is suggested.By using public transportation as another communication platform in a smart city,network communication is enhanced.The primary objec-tive is to use as little energy as possible while delivering as much data as possible.The Attribute Decision Making with Capacitated Vehicle(CV)Routing Problem(RP)and Half Open Multi-Depot Heterogeneous Vehicle Routing Problem is used in the proposed research.For the optimum network selection,a Multi-Attribute Decision Making(MADM)method is utilized.For the sake of reducing energy usage,the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem(CVRP)is employed.To reduce the transportation cost and risk,Half Open Multi-Depot Heterogeneous Vehicle Routing Problem is used.Moreover,a mixed-integer programming approach is used to deal with the problem.To produce Pareto optimal solutions,an intelligent algorithm based on the epsilon constraint approach and genetic algorithm is cre-ated.A scenario of Auckland Transport is being used to validate the concept of offloading the information onto the buses for energy-efficient and delay-tolerant data transfer.Therefore the experiments have demonstrated that the buses may be used effectively to carry out the data by customer requests while using 30%of less energy than the other systems. 展开更多

Women from middle age to old age are mostly screened positive for Breast cancer which leads to death.Times over the past decades,the overall sur-vival rate in breast cancer has improved due to advancements in early-stage diag-nosis and tailored therapy.Today all hospital brings high awareness and early detection technologies for breast cancer.This increases the survival rate of women.Though traditional breast cancer treatment takes so long,early cancer techniques require an automation system.This research provides a new methodol-ogy for classifying breast cancer using ultrasound pictures that use deep learning and the combination of the best characteristics.Initially,after successful learning of Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)algorithms,data augmentation is used to enhance the representation of the feature dataset.Then it uses BreastNet18 withfine-tuned VGG-16 model for pre-training the augmented dataset.For feature classification,Entropy controlled Whale Optimization Algorithm(EWOA)is used.The features that have been optimized using the EWOA were utilized to fuse and optimize the data.To identify the breast cancer pictures,training classifiers are used.By using the novel probability-based serial technique,the best-chosen characteristics are fused and categorized by machine learning techniques.The main objective behind the research is to increase tumor prediction accuracy for saving human life.The testing was performed using a dataset of enhanced Breast Ultrasound Images(BUSI).The proposed method improves the accuracy com-pared with the existing methods. 展开更多

The Internet of Medical Things(IoMT)is an online device that senses and transmits medical data from users to physicians within a time interval.In,recent years,IoMT has rapidly grown in the medicalfield to provide healthcare services without physical appearance.With the use of sensors,IoMT applications are used in healthcare management.In such applications,one of the most important factors is data security,given that its transmission over the network may cause obtrusion.For data security in IoMT systems,blockchain is used due to its numerous blocks for secure data storage.In this study,Blockchain-assisted secure data management framework(BSDMF)and Proof of Activity(PoA)protocol using malicious code detection algorithm is used in the proposed data security for the healthcare system.The main aim is to enhance the data security over the networks.The PoA protocol enhances high security of data from the literature review.By replacing the malicious node from the block,the PoA can provide high security for medical data in the blockchain.Comparison with existing systems shows that the proposed simulation with BSD-Malicious code detection algorithm achieves higher accuracy ratio,precision ratio,security,and efficiency and less response time for Blockchain-enabled healthcare systems. 展开更多

In this current century,most industries are moving towards automation,where human intervention is dramatically reduced.This revolution leads to industrial revolution 4.0,which uses the Internet of Things(IoT)and wireless sensor networks(WSN).With its associated applications,this IoT device is used to compute the receivedWSN data from devices and transfer it to remote locations for assistance.In general,WSNs,the gateways are a long distance from the base station(BS)and are communicated through the gateways nearer to the BS.At the gateway,which is closer to the BS,energy drains faster because of the heavy load,which leads to energy issues around the BS.Since the sensors are battery-operated,either replacement or recharging of those sensor node batteries is not possible after it is deployed to their corresponding areas.In that situation,energy plays a vital role in sensor survival.Concerning reducing the network energy consumption and increasing the network lifetime,this paper proposed an efficient cluster head selection using Improved Social spider Optimization with a Rough Set(ISSRS)and routing path selection to reduce the network load using the Improved Grey wolf optimization(IGWO)approach.(i)Using ISSRS,the initial clusters are formed with the local nodes,and the cluster head is chosen.(ii)Load balancing through routing path selection using IGWO.The simulation results prove that the proposed optimization-based approaches efficiently reduce the energy through load balancing compared to existing systems in terms of energy efficiency,packet delivery ratio,network throughput,and packet loss percentage. 展开更多

Nowadays,the cloud environment faces numerous issues like synchronizing information before the switch over the data migration.The requirement for a centralized internet of things(IoT)-based system has been restricted to some extent.Due to low scalability on security considerations,the cloud seems uninteresting.Since healthcare networks demand computer operations on large amounts of data,the sensitivity of device latency evolved among health networks is a challenging issue.In comparison to cloud domains,the new paradigms of fog computing give fresh alternatives by bringing resources closer to users by providing low latency and energy-efficient data processing solutions.Previous fog computing frameworks have various flaws,such as overvaluing response time or ignoring the accuracy of the result yet handling both at the same time compromises the network community.In this proposed work,Health Fog is integrated with the Optimized Cascaded Convolution Neural Network framework for diagnosing heart disease.Initially,the data is collected,and then pre-processing is done by Linear Discriminant Analysis.Then the features are extracted and optimized using Galactic Swarm Optimization.The optimized features are given into the Health Fog framework for diagnosing heart disease patients.It uses ensemble-based deep learning in edge computing devices,which automatically monitors real-life health networks such as heart disease analysis.Finally,the classifiers such as bagging,boosting,XGBoost,Multi-Layer Perceptron(MLP),and Partitions(PART)are used for classifying the data.Then the majority voting classifier predicts the result.This work uses FogBus architecture and evaluates the execution of power usage,bandwidth of the network,latency,execution time,and accuracy. 展开更多

Wireless sensor networks(WSNs)are projected to have a wide range of applications in the future.The fundamental problem with WSN is that it has afinite lifespan.Clustering a network is a common strategy for increasing the life-time of WSNs and,as a result,allowing for faster data transmission.The cluster-ing algorithm’s goal is to select the best cluster head(CH).In the existing system,Hybrid grey wolf sunflower optimization algorithm(HGWSFO)and optimal clus-ter head selection method is used.It does not provide better competence and out-put in the network.Therefore,the proposed Hybrid Grey Wolf Ant Colony Optimisation(HGWACO)algorithm is used for reducing the energy utilization and enhances the lifespan of the network.Black hole method is used for selecting the cluster heads(CHs).The ant colony optimization(ACO)technique is used tofind the route among origin CH and destination.The open cache of nodes,trans-mission power,and proximity are used to improve the CH selection.The grey wolf optimisation(GWO)technique is the most recent and well-known optimiser module which deals with grey wolves’hunting activity(GWs).These GWs have the ability to track down and encircle food.The GWO method was inspired by this hunting habit.The proposed HGWACO improves the duration of the net-work,minimizes the power consumption,also it works with the large-scale net-works.The HGWACO method achieves 25.64%of residual energy,25.64%of alive nodes,40.65%of dead nodes also it enhances the lifetime of the network. 展开更多

Navigation is an essential skill for robots.It becomes a cumbersome task for the robot in a human-populated environment,and Industry 5.0 is an emerging trend that focuses on the interaction between humans and robots.Robot behavior in a social setting is the key to human acceptance while ensuring human comfort and safety.With the advancement in robotics technology,the true use cases of robots in the tourism and hospitality industry are expanding in number.There are very few experimental studies focusing on how people perceive the navigation behavior of a delivery robot.A robotic platform named“PI”has been designed,which incorporates proximity and vision sensors.The robot utilizes a real-time object recognition algorithm based on the You Only Look Once(YOLO)algorithm to detect objects and humans during navigation.This study is aimed towards evaluating human experience,for which we conducted a study among 36 participants to explore the perceived social presence,role,and perception of a delivery robot exhibiting different behavior conditions while navigating in a hotel corridor.The participants’responses were collected and compared for different behavior conditions demonstrated by the robot and results show that humans prefer an assistant role of a robot enabled with audio and visual aids exhibiting social behavior.Further,this study can be useful for developers to gain insight into the expected behavior of a delivery robot. 展开更多

Recent security applications in mobile technologies and computer sys-tems use face recognition for high-end security.Despite numerous security tech-niques,face recognition is considered a high-security control.Developers fuse and carry out face identification as an access authority into these applications.Still,face identification authentication is sensitive to attacks with a 2-D photo image or captured video to access the system as an authorized user.In the existing spoofing detection algorithm,there was some loss in the recreation of images.This research proposes an unobtrusive technique to detect face spoofing attacks that apply a single frame of the sequenced set of frames to overcome the above-said problems.This research offers a novel Edge-Net autoencoder to select convoluted and dominant features of the input diffused structure.First,this pro-posed method is tested with the Cross-ethnicity Face Anti-spoofing(CASIA),Fetal alcohol spectrum disorders(FASD)dataset.This database has three models of attacks:distorted photographs in printed form,photographs with removed eyes portion,and video attacks.The images are taken with three different quality cameras:low,average,and high-quality real and spoofed images.An extensive experimental study was performed with CASIA-FASD,3 Diagnostic Machine Aid-Digital(DMAD)dataset that proved higher results when compared to existing algorithms. 展开更多

The optimization of cognitive radio(CR)system using an enhanced firefly algorithm(EFA)is presented in this work.The Firefly algorithm(FA)is a nature-inspired algorithm based on the unique light-flashing behavior of fireflies.It has already proved its competence in various optimization prob-lems,but it suffers from slow convergence issues.To improve the convergence performance of FA,a new variant named EFA is proposed.The effectiveness of EFA as a good optimizer is demonstrated by optimizing benchmark functions,and simulation results show its superior performance compared to biogeography-based optimization(BBO),bat algorithm,artificial bee colony,and FA.As an application of this algorithm to real-world problems,EFA is also applied to optimize the CR system.CR is a revolutionary technique that uses a dynamic spectrum allocation strategy to solve the spectrum scarcity problem.However,it requires optimization to meet specific performance objectives.The results obtained by EFA in CR system optimization are compared with results in the literature of BBO,simulated annealing,and genetic algorithm.Statistical results further prove that the proposed algorithm is highly efficient and provides superior results. 展开更多
