Some Thoughts on Reading

To be honest,in the past,I rarely read books and even hated reading.Though I had good grades in school,I read for the sake of exams and never read in the real sense.Reading was so boring for me that I would rather play games for fun.It was not until I was admitted to the Egyptian Language School to study Chinese that I came to realize the value of reading.At that time,I was eager to improve my oral language.

关于读书,说实话我以前读得很少,甚至非常讨厌读书。虽然我上学时成绩一直比较好,但那是为了考试而读书,从来没有真正为了读书而读书。那时我觉得,读书是个无聊的活动,不如打会儿游戏,娱乐一下。那么,我是什么时候才意识到读书的重要性的呢?这要从我考上埃及语言学院学习中文说起。
