This paper investigates the hypotheses of influences of CPTED on FOC （fear of crime） and SOC （sense of community）. A total of 171 respondents from the designated residential areas were involved in this study. The structural equation modeling technique was employed and the results indicate that CPTED has a direct influence on fear of crime and sense of community. However, no significant relationship was found between SOC and FOC.展开更多
