On Forming a Child-friendly Environment in Urban Communities

The community is both a learning and living environment that significantly influences the physical and mental development of the children,as well as an important arena for realizing children’s rights.However,the development of urban communities in China is not particularly child-friendly,causing children to abandon or misuse the communal environment.Creating a child-friendly environment in urban communities requires the adoption of three basic approaches,i.e.a shift from the"adult’s perspective"to the"child’s perspective",a shift from a simplistic focus on the"hardware"of the environment to a dual focus that balances both"hardware"and"software",as well as a shift from providing an environment to man aging and guiding the use of the environment.Specific technical indicators for developing child-friendly environments in urban communities,which based on these three approaches,should be designed.

Protection of Women’s Rights in the National Governance of Contemporary China

The development of women’s rights is a specific field in modern national governance.The essence of women-related issues in modern times lies in the political and legal systems based on gender inequality and the unequal male-female relationship established by male chauvinism,which has further created domination over and prejudice against women.Since the founding of the New China,especially after the launch of reform and opening-up,the Communist party of China and the state have attached great importance to the protection of gender equality,bringing about the continued improvement of the protection of women’s rights.However,due to various economic and social barriers,there is still a long way to go to achieve full gender equality.To understand the issue of women’s rights from the perspective of national governance and apply the concept of modern national governance to the protection of women’s rights,it is imperative to pay great attention to the substantive equality concept in the protection of women’s right during the national governance process,take empowering women as an important approach,raise women’s gender equality awareness,and recognize,grant,enhance and guarantee women’s individual rights.

The Environmental Human Rights under the Perspective of Basic Rights--An Analysis of the dilemma Facing the legalization of environmental Rights

At least 57 countries have formulated and implemented 78 national human rights action plans, and the international assessment of them has had direct influence on their international human rights images of their issuers and the focuses of future planning According to related reports from the universal periodic review by the united nations Human rights Council, three categories of comments in a rough quantitative proportion of 1:4:2 have been made by the international community on these plans, which can be categorized as: Attention, Laudatory and expectation, representing objective attention, appreciation or encouragement and anticipation of further implementation or improvement, respectively In terms of regions, Asian countries have received the most Attention Comments, europe and Africa fewer, and America the least The marked achievements in the formulation and implementation of human rights action plans in China have attracted widespread attention and recognition, and further efforts should be made to implement steady and consistent human rights policies, improve the implementation mechanisms and integrate the external and internal functions of human rights action plans so as to promote the sustainable development of China’s human rights cause.
