根据遥感影像和实测土壤(选择林地、草地、耕地和建设用地等28个样地,采集112个土壤样品)有机碳含量数据,运用Sen氏趋势分析、Hurst指数、偏相关分析和InVEST模型等方法,探究粤东北山地生态系统植被及其碳储量时空变化特征。研究结果表... 根据遥感影像和实测土壤(选择林地、草地、耕地和建设用地等28个样地,采集112个土壤样品)有机碳含量数据,运用Sen氏趋势分析、Hurst指数、偏相关分析和InVEST模型等方法,探究粤东北山地生态系统植被及其碳储量时空变化特征。研究结果表明:1)研究区植被覆盖度较高,归一化植被指数(NDVI)变化范围为0.14~0.95,平均值为0.79。2000-2021年全域植被覆盖度呈上升趋势,空间分布存在差异,除梅州市区外,其他地区NDVI均有不同程度的增加,其中山地NDVI增加显著,且随海拔先上升后下降。研究区未来植被变化可能存在下降趋势(Hurst指数<0.5);2)2000-2020年研究区碳储量呈现减少趋势,共计减少1.33 Tg。土地利用变化,尤其林地、草地转化为耕地和建设用地是研究区碳储量减少的主要原因。研究结果可为我国亚热带生态系统碳汇功能变化研究提供基础数据。 展开更多

The TMS5e sequence from the Tumen section,at the southern edge of Tengger Desert in the northwestern China,is synchronous with Marine Isotope Stage 5e(MIS5e).It consists of 16 layers of aeolian dune sands,11 layers of lacustrine loess-like facies,and 5 layers of lacustrine facies.The results of grain-size analysis shows that the palaeo-mobile dune sands,palaeo-fixed to semi-fixed dune sands and loess-like sandy loams are mainly composed of sands,ranging from 70% to 96%;their silt contents ranged from 4% to 20%,and their clay contents ranged from 1% to 5%;the climate under which the aeolian dune sands were deposited is similar to that under which modern mobile dune sands form,which is caused by the dominance of the cold,dry East Asian winter monsoon.In contrast,the lacustrine loess-like facies and lacustrine facies had a lower sand contents than those of the three aeolian dune sands,but have higher silt and clay contents,most of their sand content ranged from 30% to 60%,their silt contents ranged from 35% to 55%,and their clay contents ranged from 6% to 20%.The lacustrine loess-like facies and lacustrine facies formed under the influence of the warm,humid East Asian summer monsoon based on their similarity with modern sediments.The grain-size indicator Mz(mean grain diameter) and the SC/D value in the TMS5e sequence indicate climatic insta-bility at the southern edge of the Tengger Desert during MIS5e,with at least 14 fluctuations between a warm,humid climate and a cold,dry climate,divided into five stages:TMS5e5(139 kyr to 129.3 kyr B.P.),TMS5e4(129.3 kyr to 124 kyr B.P.),TMS5e3(124 kyr to 119.5 kyr B.P.),TMS5e2(119.5 kyr to 116.5 kyr B.P.),and TMS5e1(116.5 kyr to 113.7 kyr B.P.).These correspond roughly to MIS5e5,MIS5e4,MIS5e3,MIS5e2,and MIS5e1,respectively,in the GRIP ice core data. 展开更多

乌鲁木齐河源地区是中国冰川遗迹保存最丰富、地貌最典型的区域之一,是根据冰川遗迹重建第四纪冰川历史的理想地区。大量的研究工作以及技术测年结果也使其成为试验冰川沉积光释光(optically stimulated luminescence,OSL)测年可行性的... 乌鲁木齐河源地区是中国冰川遗迹保存最丰富、地貌最典型的区域之一,是根据冰川遗迹重建第四纪冰川历史的理想地区。大量的研究工作以及技术测年结果也使其成为试验冰川沉积光释光(optically stimulated luminescence,OSL)测年可行性的理想地点。共采集了6个冰碛及上覆黄土样品用于光释光测年。提取38~63μm的石英颗粒,运用SAR-SGC法测试等效剂量。各种检验表明测试程序是适用的。通过地貌地层关系、重复样品、已有年代的对比等方法,检验该地冰川沉积OSL测年的可行性。结果表明,OSL年代结果与地貌地层新老关系非常吻合,与已有的其他测年技术的年代结果也具可比性,表明这些样品的OSL信号在沉积之前晒退较好,OSL年代是可信的。冰川观测站侧碛垄的OSL年代为14.8±1.2ka;9号冰川支谷口附近冰碛的OSL年代为13.5±1.1ka和17.2±1.3ka;上望峰冰碛的OSL年代为20.1±1.6ka。综合OSL年代结果与此前其他测年结果,这几套冰碛垄形成于深海氧同位素MIS2阶段应该是比较统一的认识。上望峰冰碛上覆黄土的OSL年代(10.5±0.8ka)也印证了该结论。OSL年代指示上望峰冰碛对应于末次冰期最盛期,冰川观测站和9号冰川支谷谷口冰碛对应于晚冰期。下望峰冰碛的OSL年代为36.3±2.8ka,对应于MIS3阶段。下望峰冰碛的形成时代,仍有待更多沉积学以及测年工作进一步确定。 展开更多

冰川沉积释光测年:采样策略与测试选择

释光测年是可对冰川地貌进行直接定年的一种测年技术,已被广泛应用于冰川沉积测年中,推动了第四纪冰川研究的深入发展。但冰川沉积释光测年还没有达到标准化的程度,实际应用中仍有不少问题需要探究,其中最受关注的是冰川沉积物释光信号... 释光测年是可对冰川地貌进行直接定年的一种测年技术,已被广泛应用于冰川沉积测年中,推动了第四纪冰川研究的深入发展。但冰川沉积释光测年还没有达到标准化的程度,实际应用中仍有不少问题需要探究,其中最受关注的是冰川沉积物释光信号晒退不完全的问题,即样品在埋藏前因曝光机会有限导致信号没有归零或仅部分归零。冰川沉积释光信号晒退程度与地貌部位和沉积环境密切相关。冰川沉积释光采样需注意几个方面:(1)详细的地貌学和沉积学调查及对采样点的选择;(2)较适合释光测年的冰水沉积和冰缘风成沉积采集及其与冰川作用期次的联系;(3)冰碛夹层中的冰水砂透镜体的选取;(4)冰碛垄采样时垂直与水平方向上的考量;(5)岩石释光测年的发展使砾石成为当前第四纪冰川释光测年采样的一种选择。室内进行释光等效剂量测试时,也有几个关键的选择:(1)粗颗粒石英光释光测年是末次冰期以来冰川作用的首选方法;(2)如果样品年代老于石英测年上限,或者石英不适合测试,则可考虑钾长石后红外高温释光测年方法;(3)单颗粒、小测片和岩石释光埋藏测年技术可以鉴别样品的晒退情况,是目前最适合冰川沉积释光测年的几种选择;(4)如有条件,尝试用不同矿物、不同粒径、不同方法进行测试对比和交叉检验。要获得第四纪冰川释光测年的最佳年代学结果,地貌学、沉积学和年代学的结合是非常必要的。 展开更多

不完全晒退/晒退不均现象是冰川沉积物释光测年所面临的巨大挑战,这一问题限制了传统颗粒沉积物释光方法在冰川沉积物测年方面的应用。最新发展的岩石释光埋藏测年技术,可以根据释光-深度曲线判断砾石是否经历过充分曝光,是解决冰川沉... 不完全晒退/晒退不均现象是冰川沉积物释光测年所面临的巨大挑战,这一问题限制了传统颗粒沉积物释光方法在冰川沉积物测年方面的应用。最新发展的岩石释光埋藏测年技术,可以根据释光-深度曲线判断砾石是否经历过充分曝光,是解决冰川沉积晒退不均问题的有效途径之一。本工作选择青藏高原东部硬普沟现代冰川前沿为研究对象,采集130个年轻冰川沉积砾石样品,包括93个现代样品和37个小冰期样品,其中20个现代样品采自地表。首先,运用表_(-2 mm)/饱和信号法区分不同冰川沉积环境中砾石样品的晒退程度;再基于SAR和SGC法初步估算样品的等效剂量及其高估情况;然后,统计砾石样品的特征(磨圆度、球度、颜色、晶粒大小、晶粒相对大小、砾石大小等)与晒退程度的关系,找寻晒退良好的砾石及其特征。结果表明大部分采样点的砾石样品呈现了被晒退的特征,平均20.6%的埋藏砾石的岩芯晒退良好,剂量高估程度低;不同沉积类型样品的晒退程度不一,侧碛垄顶部砾石样品晒退程度最好,冰水阶地和现代冰河砾石样品次之,现代冰川后退碛垄间洼地的冰水沉积砾石样品晒退程度最差,剂量高估较严重;磨圆度较差、球度较低、浅色的花岗岩砾石晒退程度较好。综上,冰川沉积砾石的晒退程度与沉积环境、沉积过程、搬运距离、砾石特征等相关,在进行岩石释光埋藏测年采样时,应综合考虑上述情况。 展开更多

The components of the primary elements in the dune sands for the MGS1 subsection of the Milanggouwan section in the Salawusu River valley, compared with those of modern dune sands, show that they were caused by East Asian winter monsoon in the Mu Us desert during Holocene. The examined ages for the 11 layers of dune sands, based on the average sedimentary rate, are: 0 to 960, 1350-2240, 2470 to 3530, 4000 to 4180, 4290 to 4350, 4380 to 4760, 5040 to 5920, 6570 to 8270, 9020 to 9700, 9880 to 10160 and 10580 to 11080 a BP, respectively. The climatic events indicated by these dune sands are consistent with those records in the Huguangyan volcanic lake, Zoige peat bog, Hulu cave and Dunde ice core, particularly with the climatic fluctuations of the North Atlantic since 11 000 a BP. Among them, patterns from B0 to B8 correspond to the peak values of 0MD, 2D, 4D, 6D+8D+10D, 12D, 14D, 16D, 18D and 20D respectively. It might be caused by the North Atlantic ice age induced by the heat circulation, which strengthened the polar high pressure and Siberian-Mongolian high pressure and further led to the dominance of the winter monsoon over China's desert area. 展开更多

Studies of lithology, sedimentary facies and the distribution regularity of SiO2 and Al2O3 contents and Al2O3/SiO2 ratio allow us to divide the Upper Pleistocene-Holocene Series represented by the MUanggouwan section in China's Salawnsu River valley into six segments: MGS1, MGS2, MGS3, MGS4, MGS5 and MGS6. The boundary ages for MGS1 (the Dishaogouwan and Dagouwan Formations), MGS2 (the upper Chengchuan Formation), MGS3 (the middle Chengchuan Formation), MGS4 (the lower Chengchuan Formation), MGS5 (most strata of the Salawusu Formation) and MGS6 (the bottom of the Salawusu Formation and the top of the Lishi Formation) correspond to those of MIS1, MIS2, MIS3, MIS4, MISS and MIS6, respectively, from deep sea sediments or continental glaciers. MGS5 can be subdivided into five subsegments (MGS5a, MGS5b, MGS5c, MGS5d and MGS5e) and the boundary ages of these subsegments correspond to those of MISSa, MISSb, MIS5c, MIS5d and MIS5e, respectively. Based on the paleoenvironment and paleoecology indicated by the primary chemical elements, fossil vertebrates, mollusks and pollen grains, we hypothesize that MGS1, MGS2, MGS3, MGS4, MGS5 and MGS6 and the subsegments of MGS5 match the corresponding stages for oxygen isotopes in the deep sea sediments and continental glaciers, and the substages of MIS5 in terms of climatic characters, further explaining the phenomena that determined the formation of the late Quaternary strata and the paleontology of the Salawusu River valley. These phenomena relate to fluctuations in the global climate (and particularly in the East Asian monsoon) during the glacial and interglacial periods. 展开更多

The Salawusu Formation of Milanggouwan section in Salawusu River Valley includes 7 layers of paleo-mobile dune sands, and 4 layers of paleo-fixed and semi-fixed dune sands. Their structures have been observed and their grain size, surface textural features and several main chemical elements have been analyzed. The results showed that: 1) Some of the aeolian structural characteristics of these dune sands are similar to that of the recent dune sands. 2) They are also similar to the recent dune sands in grain size components, and parameters of Mz,σ, Sk and Kg, as well as in several main chemical components. 3) The scattergrams of Mz-σ and SiO2-Al2O3+TOFE and the probability curves of grain size showed that these paleo-dune sands are different from paleosols and fluvio-lacustrine facies, but are consistency with recent dune sands. 4) Quartz sands have well roundness and surface textural features such as dish-shaped pits, crescent-shaped pits, pockmarked pits, upturned cleavage plates, siliceous precipitates and siliceous crevasses, indicating that they had been carried for a long time by the wind. As the 11 layers of paleo-dune sands possess the aeolian characteristics in structure, grain size, surface textural features and chemical elements, the origin of their formation should be attributed to eolation. 展开更多

"Ejin Section" found in a typical vegetation-covered sand dune in Ejin Oasis was investigated. In this study, 263 samples were taken from the section for grain-size analysis, 25 for chemical analysis, 11 for ^14C dating and 6 for scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results of the study indicate that 3 types of the sediments in the section can be identified, YS, LS and ST. YS, homogeneous yellow-brown dune sands, is equal to those of inland deserts, LS, loess-like sandy soils, is the same as the sandy loess in the middle Yellow River and modem falling dusts, and ST, sandy sediments interbeded with the deadwood and defoliation of Tamarix spp, represents the depositional process of the section interrupted by abrupt changes in climate. The Ejin Section has recorded the repeated dust-storms or sandstorms since 2500 yr BP and the peak periods of the dust-storms or sandstorms revealed by the section are consistent with the records of "dust rains" in historical literatures, indicating that the change of climate is a key factor to increase sandstorms or dust-storms, whereas, "artificial" factor may only be an accelerating one for desertification. 展开更多

The paleoenvironment indicated by the geochronology,major oxides——SiO2,Al2O3 and TOFE(Fe2O3 + FeO),and CIA(Chemical Index of Alteration) value of the red earth and brown-yellow silt primarily characterized by the Linjiang stratigraphic section,based on the geological investigation of Late Quaternary along the river banks of northeastern part of China's Guangdong Province,south to the Nanling Mountains,allow us to hypothesize that the red earth on the first terrace in northeastern part of Guangdong belongs to reticulated red clay developed in a hot-wet environment of the last interglacial period(132―73 ka BP),similar to the monsoon environment in the northern margin of modern tropical zone,while the overlying brown-yellow silt layer mainly accumulated in a monsoon environment of warm temperate zone in the last glacial period(73―11 ka BP),with the aeolian sand LJ3 representing an extreme period of worsening climate.Such a hypothesis corresponds well with predecessors' research on the paleoenvironment indicated by abundant fossils in both south and east to the Nanling Mountains.Hence,it follows that the bioclimatic zone did experience a large and rapid vicissitude in northeastern part of China's Guangdong Province,and even in the full extent of the region south to the Nanling Mountains from the last interglacial period to the last glacial period,with the red earth being replaced by the brown-yellow silty sediment,and even maybe with the Ailuropoda-Stegodon Fauna being replaced by the Penghu Fauna.This study may provide an important geological demonstration for the environmental response to global change in China's low latitudes on a 10 ka scale. 展开更多

第四纪是以大冰期为标志的最新地质历史时期。这个大冰期的基本特征是轨道尺度的冰期-间冰期交替及亚轨道尺度的冰阶-间冰阶变化。现在是比较温暖的间冰期,冰川只覆盖陆地面积的10%。而在冰期最盛时,冰川覆盖全球陆地面积的30%,冻土扩展... 第四纪是以大冰期为标志的最新地质历史时期。这个大冰期的基本特征是轨道尺度的冰期-间冰期交替及亚轨道尺度的冰阶-间冰阶变化。现在是比较温暖的间冰期,冰川只覆盖陆地面积的10%。而在冰期最盛时,冰川覆盖全球陆地面积的30%,冻土扩展,气候干旱,风沙盛行,海平面降低130—150 m,植被向低纬度收缩10o以上,垂直带谱下移1000 m以上。冰期天文理论成功解释了冰期-间冰期循环周期问题,但还存在诸多挑战。第四纪也是古人类向现代人发展的时期。古人类诞生于东非,约200万年前曾向欧亚大陆有限扩散,但一直到了末次间冰期才大规模扩散;尤其在随后的末次冰期中,人类更是借助于大陆桥扩散到美洲和澳洲。新仙女木事件后,气候变暖,人类进入细石器时代并逐渐过渡到农业社会。工业革命开始,人类发展深刻影响到了地球的自然进程,导致全球变暖,预示着一个“人类纪”的到来。 展开更多

信号晒退是释光测年的前提。最近几年发展起来的岩石释光埋藏测年技术,可以依据释光-深度曲线判断砾石样品释光信号晒退程度,这是该技术的一大优势之一。已有的测年实践显示,在不均匀晒退的沉积环境中,可能仅有少数砾石释光信号晒退良好... 信号晒退是释光测年的前提。最近几年发展起来的岩石释光埋藏测年技术,可以依据释光-深度曲线判断砾石样品释光信号晒退程度,这是该技术的一大优势之一。已有的测年实践显示,在不均匀晒退的沉积环境中,可能仅有少数砾石释光信号晒退良好,而大部分砾石年代高估。因此,非常有必要发展快速判断砾石释光信号晒退程度的方法,以提高测量效率。本文介绍了砾石释光信号晒退的几种常见情景及其筛选的理论基础,基于砾石释光信号由表及里晒退的事实,以及砾石表层剂量率变化大、测试深度需要、岩片平整度等的考虑,尝试将砾石表面约2 mm的释光信号与饱和释光信号进行对比,并结合统计分析方法(文中称“表_(-2 mm)/饱和信号法”),判断来自青藏高原东部横断山脉雀儿山北麓当子沟(32.1°N,98.9°E) 的典型不均匀晒退环境——冰川沉积的159个花岗岩冰水砾石的释光信号晒退程度。通过建立39根岩芯的完整释光-深度曲线,验证此方法可用于快速识别沉积前释光信号晒退良好的砾石。在此基础上,初步探讨了砾石释光信号晒退程度与沉积环境、砾石大小、磨圆度、球度、结构、砾石ab面方向间的关系,刻划释光信号晒退良好砾石的表观特征,以辅助岩石释光埋藏测年野外采样。 展开更多
