This research paper puts emphasis on using cloud computing with Blockchain(BC)to improve the security and privacy in a cloud.The security of data is not guaranteed as there is always a risk of leakage of users’data.Blockchain can be used in a multi-tenant cloud environment(MTCE)to improve the security of data,as it is a decentralized approach.Data is saved in unaltered form.Also,Blockchain is not owned by a single organization.The encryption process can be done using a Homomorphic encryption(HE)algorithm along with hashing technique,hereby allowing computations on encrypted data without the need for decryption.This research paper is composed of four objectives:Analysis of cloud security using Blockchain technology;Exceptional scenario of Blockchain architecture in an enterprise-level MTCE;Implementation of cipher-text policy attribute-based encryption(CPABE)algorithm;Implementation of Merkle tree using Ethereum(MTuE)in a Multi-tenant system.Out of these four objectives,the main focus is on the implementation of CP-ABE algorithm.CP-ABE parameters are proposed for different levels of tenants.The levels include inner tenant,outer tenant,Inner-Outer-Tenant,Inner-Outer-External-Tenant,Outer-Inner-Tenant,External-Outer-Inner-Tenant and the parameters such as token,private key,public key,access tree,message,attribute set,node-level,cipher-text,salting which will help in providing better security using CP-ABE algorithm in a multitenant environment(MTE)where tenants can be provided with different levels of security and achieved 92 percentage of authenticity and access-control of the data. 展开更多

Technological advances in recent years have significantly changed the way an operating room works.This work aims to create a platformto solve the problems of operating room occupancy and prepare the rooms with an environment that is favorable for all operations.Using this system,a doctor can control all operation rooms,especially before an operation,and monitor their temperature and humidity to prepare for the operation.Also,in the event of a problem,an alert is sent to the nurse responsible for the room and medical stuff so that the problem can be resolved.The platformis tested using a Raspberry PI card and sensors.The sensors are connected to a cloud layer that collects and analyzes the temperature and humidity values obtained from the environment during an operation.The result of experimentations is visualized through a web application and an Android application.The platform also considers the security aspects such as authorization to access application functionalities for the Web and the mobile applications.We can also test and evaluate the system’s existing problems and vulnerabilities using the IEEE and owasp IoT standards.Finally,the proposed framework is extended with a model based testing technique that may be adopted for validating the security aspects. 展开更多

Comparative Study of the Performance of M5-Rules Algorithm with Different Algorithms

The effort invested in a software project is probably one of the most important and most analyzed variables in recent years in the process of project management. The determination of the value of this variable when initiating software projects allows us to plan adequately any forthcoming activities. As far as estimation and prediction is concerned there is still a number of unsolved problems and errors. To obtain good results it is essential to take into consideration any previous projects. Estimating the effort with a high grade of reliability is a problem which has not yet been solved and even the project manager has to deal with it since the beginning. In this study, performance of M5-Rules Algorithm, single conjunctive rule learner and decision table majority classifier are experimented for modeling of Effort Estimation of Software Projects and performance of developed models is compared with the existing algorithms namely Halstead, Walston-Felix, Bailey-Basili, Doty in terms of MAE and RMSE. The proposed techniques are run in the WEKA environment for building the model structure for software effort and the formulae of existing models are calculated in the MATLAB environment. The performance evaluation criteria are based on MAE and RMSE. The result shows that the M5-Rules have the best performance and can be used for the effort estimation of all types of software projects. 展开更多
