Objective:To explore the law of traditional Chinese medicine in prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal reaction after chemotherapy for lung cancer.Methods:The literatures on prevention and treatment of gastroint...Objective:To explore the law of traditional Chinese medicine in prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal reaction after chemotherapy for lung cancer.Methods:The literatures on prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal reaction after chemotherapy with Chinese medicine were searched from CNKI,Wanfang and VIP databases from the establishment of the database to September 2020.After screening,the database was established,and data mining was conducted by using IBM SPSS statistics 20.0 and IBM SPSS modeler 18.0 to summarize the medication rules of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal reaction after chemotherapy for lung cancer.Results:(1)A total of 131 literatures involving 245 traditional Chinese medicines were included for data mining;(2)High frequency drugs include Astragalus membranaceus,liquorice,Poria cocos,Atractylodes macrocephala,Pinellia ternata,Codonopsis pilosula,Ophiopogon japonicus,coix seed,Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae,Radix Glehniae and so on;(3)The traditional Chinese medicine used is mainly tonifying deficiency medicine,resolving phlegm and relieving cough and asthma medicine,diuresis and dampness medicine,heat clearing medicine and antiphlogistic medicine.The medicine tastes bitter and sweet,and has cold and warm properties.The meridian tropism involves liver,lung,stomach,spleen and kidney;(4)Seven core TCM combinations were obtained by cluster analysis,and 24 drug pairs(groups)were obtained by association rule analysis.Conclusion:Through the data mining of traditional Chinese medicine for the prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal reaction after chemotherapy for lung cancer,we can find out the potential rules of traditional Chinese medicine prescription,and clarify the core Chinese medicine,which is helpful to provide certain reference for the development and research of drugs for the treatment of gastrointestinal reaction and modern clinical practice.展开更多
Cancer related depression(CRD)refers to the significant and lasting depression of the patient due to tumor diagnosis,treatment and comorbidities.It can be attributed to the category of“stagnation syndrome”in traditi...Cancer related depression(CRD)refers to the significant and lasting depression of the patient due to tumor diagnosis,treatment and comorbidities.It can be attributed to the category of“stagnation syndrome”in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).Clinically,cancer-related depression can be divided into three stages,namely primary,middle and final stages by analogy with depression syndrome.The location of the initial disease is in the liver.The main syndrome was excess,while the basic pathogenesis is mainly due to liver-qi stagnation syndrome and the principle of treatment is dispersing stagnated liver qi for relieving qi stagnation by using modified Xiaoyao Powder and Chaihu Shugan Powder.In the middle stage of the disease,the location is in the spleen and stomach.The main syndrome was intermingled deficiency and excess.The principle of treatment is relaxing bowels,dissipating phlegm and eliminating dampness,regulating qi-flowing and promoting blood,invigorating spleen and heart,nourishing qi and blood.Xuefuzhuyu tang,Guipi decotion,Bailongjieyu granules can be used as treatment for this period.At the final stage of the disease,the main syndrome was deficiency,the principle of treatment is replenishing lung and heart,benefiting qi and regulating spleen,nourishing lung and kidney.Baihe formulas,Kai-Xin-San are chosed at this stage.展开更多
Objective:The objective of this study was to examine the effect of the postsurgical administration of Shenyi capsules on the outcome and overall survival of patients with nonsmall cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Materials and...Objective:The objective of this study was to examine the effect of the postsurgical administration of Shenyi capsules on the outcome and overall survival of patients with nonsmall cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Materials and Methods:This was a multicenter,randomized,placebo-controlled,double-blind clinical trial.Patients with stages I–IIIA NSCLC were randomized to Shenyi or placebo groups(treatment duration:6 months)and followed up for 10 years.One-year,2-year,5-year,and 10-year survival rates and survival times were calculated.Symptoms,quality of life,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome,and recurrence were evaluated.Results:A total of 361 patients(treatment group,n=185;placebo group,n=176)were randomized and followed up for 10 years.The two groups had similar baseline demographic and clinical characteristics.Among all 361 patients,the treatment group had significantly longer median survival(31 months,respectively)than the placebo group(22.3 months,P<0.01).In stage II or III patients,recurrence and metastasis rates in the treatment group were lower than those in the placebo group(P<0.05).The treatment group also had significantly longer 1-year and 2-year survival rates based on the full analysis set and per-protocol set;however,there was no statistically significant difference in the 5-year and 10-year survival rates(P<0.01 for all comparisons).Multivariate analysis of variance showed that the interaction between stage and age had a significant impact on overall survival(P<0.05).Compared with the placebo group,the treatment group showed a significant decrease in TCM syndrome(P<0.01)and a significant increase in the Karnofsky Performance Score(P<0.01)and body weight(P<0.05).Conclusions:Adjunctive therapy with Shenyi capsules significantly prolonged the 1-year and 2-year survival rates after surgery and improved the quality of life.Moreover,none of the patients experienced severe adverse effects.These results suggest that Shenyi capsules may have clinical applications in treating patients with NSCLC.展开更多
