In the last seven decades, there have been only 29 cases of male primary pulmonary choriocarcinoma (PPC) reported in the literature.Extragonadal choriocarcinoma arising in the lung is thought to be unresponsive to treatment and is associated with a poor prognosis. We report a 71-year-old male patient with extragonadal, nongestational choriocarcinoma apparently arising in the lung and review the characteristics of previously reported cases to explore the diagnosis and treatment of primary choriocarcinoma of the lung.展开更多
