The solution and pure solvent were placed in a cooling bath whose temperature was decreased by a semiconductor chip. Three detectors were used to sense the temperature (Ts, Tr and Tw) of solution (S), pure solvent (R) and cooling bath (W). When (Tr-Ts)-(Ts-Tw)presented maximum, (Tr-Ts) was the freezing point depression of the solution which was proportional to the concentration of solution.
