In this method, a zonal approach that combines a nonlinear weakly dispersive wave (...A hybrid numerical method for the hydraulic modeling of a curtain-walled dissipater of reflected waves from breakwaters is presented. In this method, a zonal approach that combines a nonlinear weakly dispersive wave (Boussinesq-type equation) method and a Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) method is used. The Boussinesq-type equation is solved in the far field to describe wave transformation in shallow water. The RANS method is used in die near field to resolve the turbulent boundary layer and vortex flows around the structure. Suitable matching conditions are enforced at the interface between the viscous and the Boussinesq region. The Coupled RANS and Boussinesq method successfully resolves the vortex characteristics of flow in the vicinity of the structure, while unexpected phenomena like wave re-reflection are effectively controlled by lengthening the Boussinesq region. Extensive results on hydraulic performance of a curtain-walled dissipater and the mechanism of dissipation of reflected waves are presented, providing a reference for minimization of die breadth of the water chamber and for determination of the submerged depth of the curtain wall.展开更多

As an improvement of DMC algorithm, the load prediction is used as a set point of DMC, and the prediction error is used as a corrected value of predictive control. The precursors and the resultant oxide powders were characterized by DTA/TG, DSC, XRD and XPS techniques. Effect of substituting Nd for La reveals that the phase transition which occurs in La2Mo2O9 around 565℃ disappears when x>0.2. And the maximum amount of Nd stabilized the high temperature phase of βLa2Mo2O9 from cubic to tetragonal is about x =1.6. The measurements of impedance spectroscopy indicate that the ionic conductivity becomes considerably higher in comparison to that of La2Mo2O9.展开更多

This framework, in...MGAC (Motion Geometric Active Contours), a new variational framework of geometric active contours to track multiple nonrigid moving objects in the clutter background in image sequences is presented. This framework, incorporating with the motion edge information, consists of motion detection and tracking stages. At the motion detection stage, the motion edge map provides an approximate edge map of the moving objects. Then, a tracking stage, merely using the static edge information, is considered to improve the motion detection result. Force field regularization method is used to extend the capture range of the edge attraction force field in both stages. Experiments demonstrate that the proposed framework is valid for tracking multiple nonrigid objects in the clutter background.展开更多

An improved deformable model is used to simultaneously segment and register feature from multiple images. The objects in the image pair are segmented by evolving a single contour and meanwhile the parameters of affine registration transformation are found out. After that, a contour-constrained elastic registration is applied to register the images correctly. The experimental results indicate that the proposed approach is effective to segment and register medical images.展开更多

This paper first set up a kind of Space/Time transmission model, then proposed a Joint Space/Time Equalizer, which was based on Recursive Least Square (RLS) algorithm and composed of Adaptive Array Antenna (AAA) and Temporal Equalizer (TE). Being different from traditional equalizer using front feedback filter, this paper employed rear feedback filter which reduces the number of adaptive weight values from M×L to M+L. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme efficiently improves the ability of anti-interference in multi-path fading channel, raises the practical feasibility and reduces algorithm complexity.展开更多

The effects of XKG on blood sugar, appetite, capacity of drinking, glucose tolerance, blood lipid and blood rheological property were observed and compared among groups.Results:XKG showed a trend in reducing the appetite and capacity of drinking, increasing the body weight, and significantly inhibiting the increase of blood sugar coused by ectogenic glucose in mice, and could improve the blood lipid and blood rheological property in rats.Conclusion:XKG is effective in reducing serum total cholesterol, lowering the blood viscosity, improving the blood rheological property of alloxan induced diabetic animals. Therefore, it might effective in treating and preventing the occurrence of diabetes mellitus and the complications of blood stasis.展开更多
Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of Leyin (乐银,LY) in treating psoriasis maculata (PM) and its effects on cellular immunity and vagin al epithelial cell mitosis in experimental mice.Methods: In this cl...Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of Leyin (乐银,LY) in treating psoriasis maculata (PM) and its effects on cellular immunity and vagin al epithelial cell mitosis in experimental mice.Methods: In this clinical study, 260 out-patients of PM were randomly divided into the observed group ( n =160) and the control group ( n =100), who were treated with oral intake of LY and Yinxieling granule (YXL, 银屑灵冲剂) respectively to observe the therapeutic effect and the adverse reac tion. And a follow-up study was also conducted on them. In the experimental s tudy, delayed allergic model mice were treated with immunosuppressor(cyclophosph amide) and LY separately to observe the effects on their immune function and inh ibition of vaginal epithelial cell proliferation. Results: In the observed group, 8 patients (5%) were cured, 32 (20%) basically cured, 48 (30%) markedly improved, 48 (30%) improved and 24 (15%) unchanged, the total effective rate being 85%, while in the control group, the corresponding numbers were 4, 8 , 14, 38, 36 and 64% respectively, with the comparison of the total effective ra te between the two groups showing significant difference( P <0.01). Adverse r eactions were not found in the study. Experimental study showed that LY could e nhance the immune function of mice and had a certain inhibitory effect on vagina l epithelial cell proliferation. Conclusion: LY could treat PM effectively and shows immune enhan cing and anti-mitosis effect in mice.展开更多
