A self-powered ultraviolet photodetector(UV PD)with van der Waals(vdW)Schottky junction based on TiO_(2) nanorod arrays/Au-modulated V2 CTx MXene is reported.The Schottky junction enables the device to operate in self...A self-powered ultraviolet photodetector(UV PD)with van der Waals(vdW)Schottky junction based on TiO_(2) nanorod arrays/Au-modulated V2 CTx MXene is reported.The Schottky junction enables the device to operate in self-powered mode.The dangling bond-free surface of V2 CTx MXene reduces the charge recombination at the junction interface.Meanwhile,V2 CTx MXene,with the work function(WF)increasing to 5.35 eV,forms a hole transport layer by contacting with Au electrode,which facilitates the carrier extraction.The electron lifetime in the device has prolonged to 8.95μs.As a result,the responsivity and detectivity of the PD have achieved 28 mA/W and 1.2×10^(11) cm Hz1/2/W(340 nm,65 mW/cm2,0 V),respectively.In addition,the presence of the Au electrode prevents the vanadium from coming into contact with oxygen and oxidizing,preserving the properties of the V2 CTx films.After 180 days of exposure to the atmosphere,the device performance remained at a particularly high level,indicating enhanced durability.This work points out an effective approach to modulate the properties of V2 CTx to obtain the high performance and stability of the UV PD.展开更多

The requirement for high performance, high reliability, and long service life of modem engines has led to the incentive to develop GH4169 alloys with improved performance, such as increased temperature-bearing capacity, improved creep endurance, and better fatigue resistance. Background:Obstructed defecation syndrome(ODS)is a condition that is frequently caused by rectocele and rectal intussusception.This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a modified Bresler procedure for the tre...Background:Obstructed defecation syndrome(ODS)is a condition that is frequently caused by rectocele and rectal intussusception.This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a modified Bresler procedure for the treatment of ODS.The outcomes of this modified procedure were compared with the stapled transanal rectal resection(STARR)procedure.Methods:We performed a retrospective analysis of the clinical data from 76 female patients who presented with ODS between June 2014 and June 2016.The patients were divided into two treatment groups,namely Modified and STARR.Patients in the Modified group(n=36)underwent the modified Bresler procedure,which involved posterior rectal-wall resection using a circular tubular stapler with multilevel purse-string sutures.Patients in the STARR group(n=40)underwent the standard STARR procedure.We analysed post-operative complications,Wexner constipation scores(WCS),rectocele depths,and four-point post-operative satisfaction scales.Results:Patients in the Modified group exhibited shorter operative times and fewer post-operative complications(both P<0.05).At 12 months post-operatively,both the Modified and STARR groups displayed a significant improvement in the Wexner constipation score and the depth of rectocele.The post-operative WCS for the Modified group were significantly improved compared to those for the STARR group(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in the rectocele depth between the two groups(P>0.05).Post-operative interviews at post-operative 12 months showed that patients in the Modified group had a better satisfaction(P=0.05).Conclusions:Our modified procedure may be an effective treatment strategy for patients experiencing ODS caused by rectocele and rectal intussusception,with fewer complications and effective relief of symptoms.展开更多
A 19-year-old male patient who suffered from sudden and repeated multiple organ dysfunction syndrome one month after the bar removal procedure of Nuss surgery for pectus excavatum was admitted to our department.With o...A 19-year-old male patient who suffered from sudden and repeated multiple organ dysfunction syndrome one month after the bar removal procedure of Nuss surgery for pectus excavatum was admitted to our department.With organ function supportive treatment,the etiology was finally identified to be a bone spur located at the inner border of the left costa due to repeated friction between the implanted steel bar and the rib,which damaged the heart repeatedly and induced the consequent acute cardiac tamponade.After operation,the patient was successfully managed and discharged.Follow-ups till three years indicated a good recovery.展开更多
