Production planning in FMS provides a solution to problems regarding part type selection: machine grouping, production ratio, resource allocation and loading problem. These problems need to be solved optimally for maximum utilization of resources. Optimal solution to these problems has been a focus of attention in production and manufacturing, industrial and academic research since a number of decades. Evolution of new optimization techniques, software, technology, machines and computer languages provides the scope of a better optimal solution to the existing problems. Thus there remains a need of research to solve the problem with latest tools and techniques for higher optimal use of available resources. As an objective, the researchers need to reduce the computational time and cost, complexity of the problem, solution approach viz. general or customized, better user friendly communication with machine, higher freedom to select the desired objective(s) type(s) for optimal solution to the problem. As an approach to the solution to the problem, a researcher first needs to go for an exhaustive literature review, where the researcher needs to find the research gaps, compare and analyze the tools and techniques used, number of objectives considered for optimization and need, and scope of research for the research problem. The present study is a review paper analyzing the research gaps, approach and techniques used, scope of new optimization techniques or any other research, objectives considered and validation approaches for loading problems of production planning in FMS.展开更多

The Hyperion sensor has 242 spectral bands out of which 143 useable bands were sele...Due to the high number of bands in the hyperspectral image, the selection of optimum bands for crop classification is a prerequisite. The Hyperion sensor has 242 spectral bands out of which 143 useable bands were selected. The bands reflected wavelength from 400 to 1000 nm to the VNIR spectrometer and transmitted the band from 900 to 2500 nm to the SWIR spectrometer. Spectral Angle Mapping Classification (SAMC) approach and a multi-scale object oriented method are applied for crop studies. The result obtained from the accuracy assessment by comparing Ground Control Points (GCP) with the help of image spectra shows 78% of overall accuracy. This shows that these data are highly useful in studying the crop diversification.展开更多
The purpose of the present study is to document traditional knowledge of the wild edible mushrooms of Himachal Pradesh.Ethno-mycological data was recorded from different regions of the state,viz.,Barot,Kangra,Shimla,S...The purpose of the present study is to document traditional knowledge of the wild edible mushrooms of Himachal Pradesh.Ethno-mycological data was recorded from different regions of the state,viz.,Barot,Kangra,Shimla,Solan,Sirmaur,Mandi,Kullu,and Gaddi inhabitant regions of Chamba district in Himachal Pradesh,India.The local inhabitants of the region collect these mushrooms from the forests.Experienced members of families and local bodies teach the younger generation about edible and poisonous wild mushrooms,as well as their distribution patterns in forests.The majority of the collected wild edible mushrooms are consumed fresh.In this paper,we have presented the traditional knowledge about collection,identification,and documentation as per the knowledge available among indigenous people.展开更多
Individuals with inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)have been reported to be at an increased risk of infertility and sexual dysfunction.Although the relationship between them remains unclear,IBD severity is suspected to a...Individuals with inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)have been reported to be at an increased risk of infertility and sexual dysfunction.Although the relationship between them remains unclear,IBD severity is suspected to affect hormone levels and fertility.To analyze the impact of IBD severity on semen parameters and sex hormone levels in ulcerative colitis-type IBD(UC-IBD),we conducted a cross-sectional study involving 120 patients with UC-IBD in Adam Malik General Hospital,Medan,Indonesia.The patients were classified into three groups based on the Mayo score for Uc,followed by a comparison of various semen and hormone parameters among these groups.In addition to the cross-sectional analysis,a simple correlation test was conducted irrespective of the patient grouping.Sperm concentration,motility,and morphology were found to decline significantly with an increase in IBD severity.Without classifying patients with IBD into subgroups,the Mayo score showed negative correlations with sperm concentration(r=-0.375,P<0.0001),rapid progressive motility(r=-0.660,P<0.0001),free testosterone(r=-0.732,P<0.0001),and total testosterone(r=-0.721,P<0.0001),and positivecorrelations with immotile sperm(r=0.660,P<0.0001),abnormal morphology(r=0.657,P<0.0001),and sex hormone-binding globulin(SHBG;r=0.278,P=0.002).Sperm concentration,motility,and morphology declined significantly with the severity of IBD.This study suggests a significant negative impact of IBD severityonsemenqualityand sexhormones.展开更多
