Metallic nanoparticles and carbon nanomaterials have been extensively studied in enhanced oil recovery.Carbon nanotube(CNT)/TiO_(2) nanocomposite is synthesized and investigated in terms of contact angle,interfacial tension(IFT),emulsion stability,etc.Its performance in oil displacement in porous media is evaluated through glass micromodel experiment.The synthesized CNT/TiO_(2) is composed of TiO_(2)-based nanocomposites and CNTs as reinforcement phase.TiO_(2) is the dominant crystalline phase,and TiO_(2) nanoparticles cover on the CNTs.CNT/TiO_(2) nanocomposite is able to alter the wetting conditions of the rock from strong oil-wet to hydrophilic conditions and effectively reduce the interfacial tension.CNT/TiO_(2) nanocomposite plays an effective role in stabilizing the Pickering emulsions,and even forms stable emulsions at high temperature as 90℃.For NaCl concentration of up to 2%,a stable emulsion can be formed even after 7 days.It is observed from glass micromodel experiments that the CNT/TiO_(2) nanofluid provides a higher recovery factor denoting its promising performance in enhanced oil recovery. 展开更多

The influence of β_2AR polymorphisms as a predictor of successful short acting β_2-agonist nebulization during asthmatic exacerbation

Aim:In this study,we would like to determine associations between β2-Adrenergic Receptor(β2AR)polymorphisms at codon 16 and 27 and the response to short acting β2-agonist during asthmatic exacerbation.Methods:This was a prospective cross-sectional study of one year duration.One hundred and thirty two asthmatic patients were recruited.Five mls of venous blood was taken for DNA extraction and then genotyped for the β2AR polymorphisms using multiplex PCR.Patient's clinical responses to β2-agonist nebulization were then compared to their genotype to determine the association.Results:We found that there was no association between β2AR polymorphisms at both codon 16 and 27 with response towards short acting β2-agonist,P=0.315 and P=0.706 respectively.Conclusion:We suggested that β2AR polymorphisms at both codon 16 and 27 had no influent on the response to short acting β2-agonist. 展开更多

为了同时利用(类)金属氧化物和碳纳米材料在提高采收率方面的作用,合成了碳纳米管-二氧化钛(CNT-TiO_(2))纳米复合材料,用接触角、界面张力和乳液稳定性等评价其性能,通过玻璃刻蚀模型驱油实验评估CNT-TiO_(2)纳米流体驱油效果。合成的C... 为了同时利用(类)金属氧化物和碳纳米材料在提高采收率方面的作用,合成了碳纳米管-二氧化钛(CNT-TiO_(2))纳米复合材料,用接触角、界面张力和乳液稳定性等评价其性能,通过玻璃刻蚀模型驱油实验评估CNT-TiO_(2)纳米流体驱油效果。合成的CNT-TiO_(2)纳米复合材料由二氧化钛基体和碳纳米管增强相组成,二氧化钛为主要的结晶相,二氧化钛纳米颗粒覆盖在碳纳米管上。CNT-TiO_(2)能够将岩石的润湿性从油湿变为水湿,并降低油水界面张力。CNT-TiO_(2)可提高Pickering乳液的稳定性,在90℃条件下形成的乳液仍能保持稳定;NaCl质量分数高达2%时,配制的乳液在静置7 d后仍保持稳定。驱油实验结果显示,CNT-TiO_(2)纳米流体提高采收率效果较好。 展开更多
