The tensile response, the low cycle fatigue(LCF) resistance, and the creep behavior of an aluminum(Al) cast alloy are studied at ambient and elevated temperatures.A non-contact real-time optical extensometer based on ...The tensile response, the low cycle fatigue(LCF) resistance, and the creep behavior of an aluminum(Al) cast alloy are studied at ambient and elevated temperatures.A non-contact real-time optical extensometer based on the digital image correlation(DIC)is developed to achieve strain measurements without damage to the specimen. The optical extensometer is validated and used to monitor dynamic strains during the mechanical experiments. Results show that Young's modulus of the cast alloy decreases with the increasing temperature, and the percentage elongation to fracture at 100℃ is the lowest over the temperature range evaluated from 25℃ to 300℃. In the LCF test, the fatigue strength coefficient decreases, whereas the fatigue strength exponent increases with the rising temperature. The fatigue ductility coefficient and exponent reach maximum values at 100℃. As expected, the resistance to creep decreases with the increasing temperature and changes from 200℃ to 300℃.展开更多
The lithium-sulfur battery has attracted enormous attention as being one of the most significant energy storage technologies due to its high energy density and cost-effectiveness.However,the "shuttle effect"...The lithium-sulfur battery has attracted enormous attention as being one of the most significant energy storage technologies due to its high energy density and cost-effectiveness.However,the "shuttle effect" of polysulfide intermediates represents a formidable challenge towards its wide applications.Herein,we have designed and synthesized two-dimensional Cu,Zn and Sn-based multimetallic sulfide nanosheets to construct multi-active sites for the immobilization and entrapment of polysulfides with offering better performance in liquid Li2S6-based lithium-polysulfide batteries.Both experimental measurements and theoretical computations demonstrate that the interfacial multi-active sites of multimetallic sulfides not only accelerate the multi-chained redox reactions of highly diffusible polysulfides,but also strengthen affinities toward polysulfides.By adopting multimetallic sulfide nanosheets as the sulfur host,the liquid Li2 S6-based cell exhibits an impressive rate capability with 1200 mAh/g and retains 580 mAh/g at 0.5 mA/cm^(2) after 1000 cycles.With high sulfur mass loading conditions,the cell with 2.0 mg/cm^(2) sulfur loading delivers a cell capacity of 1068 mAh/g and maintains 480 mAh/g with 0.8 mA/cm^(2) and 500 cycles.This study provides new insights into the multifunctional material design with multi-active sites for elevated lithium-polysulfide batteries.展开更多

Methods: A total of 40 SP...Objective: To study the effect of lipoteichoic acid(LTA) and 5-FU on the expression of caspase-3, EGFR, TGF-α proteins of tumor tissue of H22 cancer bearing mice and its antitumor mechanism. Methods: A total of 40 SPF grade Kunming mice were selected to establish H22 liver cancer model, and then the mice were divided into 4 groups at random with ten mice in each group. Group A was given saline lavage treatment, Group B was treated with 5-FU by intraperitomeal injection, Group C was treated with LTA by lump body injection; Group D was treated with LTA by lump body injection and 5-FU by intraperitomeal injection. Two weeks after the treatment, the mice in each group were executed and the tumor tissue was stripping and weighted, and the tumor growth inhibition ratio was calculated. Then the tumor tissue was processed for conventional embedding, sectioned to observe the expression of caspase-3, EGFR, TGF-α by immunohistochemical staining method. Results: The tumor inhibitory rate o f Group D was significantly higher than Groups B and C(P<0.05); B, the tumor inhibitory rate o f Group B had no statistical difference compared with Group C(P>0.05). The IDO values of TGF-α, EGFR proteins in Groups B, C, D mice tumor tissue were significantly lower than that in group A(P<0.05); while IDO value of caspase-3 in Groups B, C, D group mice tumor tissue was significantly higher than that in Group A(P<0.05). The IDO value of TGF-α, EGFR in Group D mice tumor tissue were significantly lower than that in Groups B and C; While IDO value of aspase-3 in Group D was significantly higher than that in Groups B and C(P<0.05). Conclusions: LTA combined with 5-FU can effectively inhibit the tumorigenesis of H22 tumor bearing mice, increase the caspase-3 protein expression, inhibit TGF –α and EGFR protein expression, further promote tumor cell apoptosis and play a synergistic antitumor effect.展开更多
Objective:To study the change of the peripheral blood immune pattern and its correlation with prognosis in patients with liver cancer after treated by sorafenib.Methods:Patients with advanced liver cancer admitted in ...Objective:To study the change of the peripheral blood immune pattern and its correlation with prognosis in patients with liver cancer after treated by sorafenib.Methods:Patients with advanced liver cancer admitted in our hospital were enrolled and treated with sorafenib.After two months of the treatment,their peripheral blood was collected.The immune cell subset and cytokines level were determined by flow cytometry and luminex technology.According to the reaction expressed by patients towards sorafenib,patients were divided into the response group and the no response group.The changes of the peripheral blood immune pattern and its correlation with prognosis of patients in the two groups were compared.Results:Before and after treatment of sorafenib,there was no significant difference in the ratios of T cells,NK cells and their subtypes in peripheral blood of patients between the two groups;while after treatment the ratio of B cells and regulatory B cells(Breg) of patients in the response group was significant higher than that of the no response group(P<0.05),and the prognosis conditions of patients with decreased ratio of Breg cells were better than other patients after undergoing chemotherapy.The levels of plasma cytokines IL-6,IL-10,IL-12,IL17,FIL-3L,IFN- γ,TNF-α,MCP-1 and VEGF showed no significant differences.Conclusions:After treatment of sorafenib,the prognosis conditions of patients of advanced liver cancer with a reduced Breg ratio are better than patients with an unaltered or increased Breg ratio.The ratio of Breg in peripheral blood may be considered as early biological indicator for the prediction of the curative effects of sorafenib.展开更多
AIM:To evaluate the predicting efficacy of severe retinopathy of prematurity(ROP)by the WINROP algorithm(http://winrop.com)in Southern China.METHODS:All preterm infants with the gestational age(GA)less than 32 wk were...AIM:To evaluate the predicting efficacy of severe retinopathy of prematurity(ROP)by the WINROP algorithm(http://winrop.com)in Southern China.METHODS:All preterm infants with the gestational age(GA)less than 32 wk were included.Their ROP screening results and serial postnatal body weight were analysed retrospectively.Weekly body weight was entered into and measured by the WINROP system.The outcomes were analysed,and the sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value and negative predictive value(NPV)were calculated.RESULTS:Totally 432 infants with a median GA of 30.0(24.0-31.9)wk,and a median birth weight(BW)of 1360(540-2700)g were included.Among these 432 infants,50 were diagnosed as type 1 ROP but only 28 were identified by the WINROP algorithm.The sensitivity was 56%(28/50)and the NPV was 92%(252/274).However,for infants with BW<1000g or GA<28 wk,the sensitivity was 93.8%(15/16)and 93.3%(14/15),respectively.Meanwhile,with several postnatal complications added as additional risk factors,the sensitivity was increased to 96%(48/50).CONCLUSION:The sensitivity of the WINROP algorithm from the Southern Chinese cohort is not as high as that reported in developed countries.This algorithm is effective for detecting severe ROP from extremely small or preterm infants.Modification of the algorithm with additional risk factors could improve the predictive value for infants with a GA>28 wk in China.展开更多

Methods Wistar rats were locally irradiated with a single dose of 0,16,and 20 Gy to the right half of the lung to establish a lung injury model.Two and six months after irradiation,the right half of the rat lung tissue was removed,and the concentrations of TGF-β1,angiotensinⅡ,and aldosterone were determined via enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results Statistical differences were observed in the expression levels of angiotensinⅡand aldosterone between the non-irradiation and irradiation groups.Moreover,the expression level of the angiotensinⅡ-aldosterone system increased with increasing doses,and the difference was still observed as time progressed. Conclusions AngiotensinⅡ-aldosterone system has an important pathophysiological function in the progression of RILI.展开更多
[Objective]The research aimed to study climatic characteristics of hail and risk zoning of its disaster factor in Anhui Province.[Method]Based on the hail-day records from 82 weather stations in Anhui Province,Chinese...[Objective]The research aimed to study climatic characteristics of hail and risk zoning of its disaster factor in Anhui Province.[Method]Based on the hail-day records from 82 weather stations in Anhui Province,Chinese Meteorological Disaster Dictionary(1951 to 2005)and The Yearbook of Meteorological Disaster in Anhui Province(2006 to 2009),we discussed the climatic characteristic and risk zoning of hail disaster in Anhui Province.[Result]The hail days exhibited significant interdecadal variability,and it had a significant negative correlation with annual mean minimum temperature.The hail usually occurred from March to August,most frequently in June but less in autumn and winter.It most likely took place from afternoon to sunset.The spatial distribution showed that the hail occurred more in northeast of Huaibei,south of Dabie Mountain and some areas of Huangshan Mountain,but less in Jianghuai region.The index of hail intensity was defined by three factors,the diameter,duration and gust grade,and the percentile method was used to grade the intensity of the hail disaster.This work provided a possibility for quantitative assessment of the intensity of hail disaster.The results of hail disaster risk zoning in Anhui Province showed that high risk zones were concentrated in northeast of Huaibei,and low risk zones were mainly in south of Huaihe River.Finally,verified by historic disaster,it showed that the results of risk zoning had a certain rationality and feasibility.[Conclusion]The research could provide reference basis for hail disaster defense and assessment.展开更多

Background:Diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)is one of the most common complications of diabetes mellitus.Impaired neurological function is one of the main characteristics of DPN and is strongly associated with the i...Background:Diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)is one of the most common complications of diabetes mellitus.Impaired neurological function is one of the main characteristics of DPN and is strongly associated with the inflammatory response.Our previous studies have confirmed that pestle needle can improve the nerve function of patients with DPN.But the mechanism of pestle needle treatment of DPN is still unclear.Methods:A total of 70 DPN patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups.Control group(CG)(n=35)received DPN conventional treatment and the pestle needle group(PNG)(n=35)received pestle needle therapy at Zhiyang(DU09)eight array,Mingmen(DU04)eight array and Heche Road(from Mingmen(DU04)to Changqiang(DU01)),Zusanli(ST36),Sanyinjiao(SP06),Taixi(KI03)and Yongquan(KI01).Patients in the PNG group were required to take this treatment for 4 weeks,5 times a week.Examination indexes were collected before and after treatment,respectively.Nerve function was examined using the Toronto clinical scoring system and nerve conduction velocity detection.Serum inflammatory factors were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay.Results:The Toronto clinical scoring system was significantly reduced in the PNG compared with the CG after treatment.The sensory nerve conduction velocity and motor nerve conduction velocity of the right peroneal and median nerves were significantly faster in the PNG than those in the CG(P<0.05).After treatment,serum interleukin-1 beta,interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor-alpha levels decreased in both groups,and the improvement of PNG was better than CG(P<0.05).Conclusion:The pestle needle can significantly improve the symptoms and nerve conduction velocity of DPN,and its mechanism may be related to the reduction of inflammatory factors.展开更多

METHODS An expression plasmid of survivin siRNA (pRNAT/sur-siR-NA) was constructed and transduced into SW480 cells. Western blot analysis and a semi-quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) were used to measure the change in expression level of the survivin protein and mRNA after transduction of the expression plasmid into the SW480. Apoptosis, proliferation, and invasive ability of the SW480 cells was evaluated by flow cytometry, MTT assay and Boy-den Chamber Assay, respectively. RESULTS The expression plasmid (pRNAT/sur-siRNA) against survivin down-regulated survivin protein and mRNA expression dramatically, with a down-regulation of 85% and 80%, respectively. After transfection of the pRNAT/sur-siRNA to the SW480 cells, the apoptotic rate of the pRNAT/ sur-siRNA/SW480 cells was 16.9%, and the proliferation rate was 37.4%, significantly different compared to the controls (P<0.01). Cell invasive studies (Boyden Chamber Assay) showed that number of cells penetrating the membrane for the pRNAT/sur-siRNA/SW480, pRNAT/SW480 and the SW480 cells was 153±66, 505±65 and 578±98, respectively (P<0.01). CONCLUSION siRNA against survivin can significantly inhibit the expression of survivin in SW480 cells, and thus promote apoptosis, inhibit proliferation and invasive ability.展开更多

Conclusions: LTA combined with 5-FU can effectively inhibit the tumorigenesis of H22 tumor bearing mice, increase the caspase-3 protein expression, inhibit TGF –α and EGFR protein expression, further promote tumor cell apoptosis and play a synergistic antitumor effect.

文摘Objective:To study the change of the peripheral blood immune pattern and its correlation with prognosis in patients with liver cancer after treated by sorafenib.Methods:Patients with advanced liver cancer admitted in our hospital were enrolled and treated with sorafenib.After two months of the treatment,their peripheral blood was collected.The immune cell subset and cytokines level were determined by flow cytometry and luminex technology.According to the reaction expressed by patients towards sorafenib,patients were divided into the response group and the no response group.The changes of the peripheral blood immune pattern and its correlation with prognosis of patients in the two groups were compared.Results:Before and after treatment of sorafenib,there was no significant difference in the ratios of T cells,NK cells and their subtypes in peripheral blood of patients between the two groups;while after treatment the ratio of B cells and regulatory B cells(Breg) of patients in the response group was significant higher than that of the no response group(P<0.05),and the prognosis conditions of patients with decreased ratio of Breg cells were better than other patients after undergoing chemotherapy.The levels of plasma cytokines IL-6,IL-10,IL-12,IL17,FIL-3L,IFN- γ,TNF-α,MCP-1 and VEGF showed no significant differences.Conclusions:After treatment of sorafenib,the prognosis conditions of patients of advanced liver cancer with a reduced Breg ratio are better than patients with an unaltered or increased Breg ratio.The ratio of Breg in peripheral blood may be considered as early biological indicator for the prediction of the curative effects of sorafenib.

文摘AIM:To evaluate the predicting efficacy of severe retinopathy of prematurity(ROP)by the WINROP algorithm(http://winrop.com)in Southern China.METHODS:All preterm infants with the gestational age(GA)less than 32 wk were included.Their ROP screening results and serial postnatal body weight were analysed retrospectively.Weekly body weight was entered into and measured by the WINROP system.The outcomes were analysed,and the sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value and negative predictive value(NPV)were calculated.RESULTS:Totally 432 infants with a median GA of 30.0(24.0-31.9)wk,and a median birth weight(BW)of 1360(540-2700)g were included.Among these 432 infants,50 were diagnosed as type 1 ROP but only 28 were identified by the WINROP algorithm.The sensitivity was 56%(28/50)and the NPV was 92%(252/274).However,for infants with BW<1000g or GA<28 wk,the sensitivity was 93.8%(15/16)and 93.3%(14/15),respectively.Meanwhile,with several postnatal complications added as additional risk factors,the sensitivity was increased to 96%(48/50).CONCLUSION:The sensitivity of the WINROP algorithm from the Southern Chinese cohort is not as high as that reported in developed countries.This algorithm is effective for detecting severe ROP from extremely small or preterm infants.Modification of the algorithm with additional risk factors could improve the predictive value for infants with a GA>28 wk in China.

文摘Objective Radiation-induced lung injury(RILI) is the most common,dose-limiting complication in thoracic malignancy radiotherapy.Considering its negative impact on patients and restrictions to efficacy,the mechanism of RILI was studied. Methods Wistar rats were locally irradiated with a single dose of 0,16,and 20 Gy to the right half of the lung to establish a lung injury model.Two and six months after irradiation,the right half of the rat lung tissue was removed,and the concentrations of TGF-β1,angiotensinⅡ,and aldosterone were determined via enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results Statistical differences were observed in the expression levels of angiotensinⅡand aldosterone between the non-irradiation and irradiation groups.Moreover,the expression level of the angiotensinⅡ-aldosterone system increased with increasing doses,and the difference was still observed as time progressed. Conclusions AngiotensinⅡ-aldosterone system has an important pathophysiological function in the progression of RILI.

文摘[Objective]The research aimed to study climatic characteristics of hail and risk zoning of its disaster factor in Anhui Province.[Method]Based on the hail-day records from 82 weather stations in Anhui Province,Chinese Meteorological Disaster Dictionary(1951 to 2005)and The Yearbook of Meteorological Disaster in Anhui Province(2006 to 2009),we discussed the climatic characteristic and risk zoning of hail disaster in Anhui Province.[Result]The hail days exhibited significant interdecadal variability,and it had a significant negative correlation with annual mean minimum temperature.The hail usually occurred from March to August,most frequently in June but less in autumn and winter.It most likely took place from afternoon to sunset.The spatial distribution showed that the hail occurred more in northeast of Huaibei,south of Dabie Mountain and some areas of Huangshan Mountain,but less in Jianghuai region.The index of hail intensity was defined by three factors,the diameter,duration and gust grade,and the percentile method was used to grade the intensity of the hail disaster.This work provided a possibility for quantitative assessment of the intensity of hail disaster.The results of hail disaster risk zoning in Anhui Province showed that high risk zones were concentrated in northeast of Huaibei,and low risk zones were mainly in south of Huaihe River.Finally,verified by historic disaster,it showed that the results of risk zoning had a certain rationality and feasibility.[Conclusion]The research could provide reference basis for hail disaster defense and assessment.

文摘The Zeeman splitting effect is observed in a strong magnetic field generated by a laser-driven coil.The expanding plasma from the coil wire surface is concentrated at the coil center and interacts with the simultaneously generated magnetic field.The Cu I spectral lines at wavelengths of 510.5541,515.3235,and 521.8202 nm are detected and analyzed.The splittings of spectral lines are used to estimate the magnetic field strength at the coil center as∼31.4±15.7 T at a laser intensity of∼5.6310^(15) W/cm^(2),which agrees well with measurements using a B-dot probe.Some other plasma parameters of the central plasma disk are also studied.The temperature is evaluated from the Cu I spectral line intensity ratio,while the electron density is estimated from the Stark broadening effect.

文摘Background:Diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)is one of the most common complications of diabetes mellitus.Impaired neurological function is one of the main characteristics of DPN and is strongly associated with the inflammatory response.Our previous studies have confirmed that pestle needle can improve the nerve function of patients with DPN.But the mechanism of pestle needle treatment of DPN is still unclear.Methods:A total of 70 DPN patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups.Control group(CG)(n=35)received DPN conventional treatment and the pestle needle group(PNG)(n=35)received pestle needle therapy at Zhiyang(DU09)eight array,Mingmen(DU04)eight array and Heche Road(from Mingmen(DU04)to Changqiang(DU01)),Zusanli(ST36),Sanyinjiao(SP06),Taixi(KI03)and Yongquan(KI01).Patients in the PNG group were required to take this treatment for 4 weeks,5 times a week.Examination indexes were collected before and after treatment,respectively.Nerve function was examined using the Toronto clinical scoring system and nerve conduction velocity detection.Serum inflammatory factors were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay.Results:The Toronto clinical scoring system was significantly reduced in the PNG compared with the CG after treatment.The sensory nerve conduction velocity and motor nerve conduction velocity of the right peroneal and median nerves were significantly faster in the PNG than those in the CG(P<0.05).After treatment,serum interleukin-1 beta,interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor-alpha levels decreased in both groups,and the improvement of PNG was better than CG(P<0.05).Conclusion:The pestle needle can significantly improve the symptoms and nerve conduction velocity of DPN,and its mechanism may be related to the reduction of inflammatory factors.

文摘Carnosic acid was used as starting material to synthesize royleanone derivatives featured C11–C14 para quinone.The importance of C-20 group of royleanone derivatives was verified by the cytotoxicity assay of royleanonic acid,miltionone I and deoxyneocrptotanshinone.Following our synthetic route,15 amide derivatives were synthesized and 8 compounds exhibited moderate cytotoxic activities against three human cancer lines in vitro.

文摘OBJECTIVE To study the efficiency of silencing survivin gene expression by an anti-survivin small RNA expression plasmid and to examine its impact on apoptosis, proliferation and invasive ability of the SW480 colorec-tal cancer cell line. METHODS An expression plasmid of survivin siRNA (pRNAT/sur-siR-NA) was constructed and transduced into SW480 cells. Western blot analysis and a semi-quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) were used to measure the change in expression level of the survivin protein and mRNA after transduction of the expression plasmid into the SW480. Apoptosis, proliferation, and invasive ability of the SW480 cells was evaluated by flow cytometry, MTT assay and Boy-den Chamber Assay, respectively. RESULTS The expression plasmid (pRNAT/sur-siRNA) against survivin down-regulated survivin protein and mRNA expression dramatically, with a down-regulation of 85% and 80%, respectively. After transfection of the pRNAT/sur-siRNA to the SW480 cells, the apoptotic rate of the pRNAT/ sur-siRNA/SW480 cells was 16.9%, and the proliferation rate was 37.4%, significantly different compared to the controls (P<0.01). Cell invasive studies (Boyden Chamber Assay) showed that number of cells penetrating the membrane for the pRNAT/sur-siRNA/SW480, pRNAT/SW480 and the SW480 cells was 153±66, 505±65 and 578±98, respectively (P<0.01). CONCLUSION siRNA against survivin can significantly inhibit the expression of survivin in SW480 cells, and thus promote apoptosis, inhibit proliferation and invasive ability.
