Effect of Jianpi Shengxue Tablet on Iron Metabolism and Nutritional Status in Patients with Renal Anemia:A Prospective,Randomized,Open,Parallel Controlled and Multicenter Clinical Study

Objective This study aimed to analyze the clinical efficacy of the Jianpi Shengxue tablet for treating renal anemia.Methods A total of 200 patients with renal anemia from December 2020 to December 2022 were enrolled and randomly divided into two groups.Patients in the control group were treated with polysaccharide-iron complex,and those in the experimental group were administered Jianpi Shengxue tablet.After 8 weeks of continuous treatment,the therapeutic outcomes regarding anemia were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the red blood cell(RBC)count,hematocrit(HCT),reticulocyte percentage(RET),ferritin(SF),serum iron(SI),transferrin saturation(TSAT),and serum albumin(ALB)all increased(P<0.01),and the clinical symptom score and total iron binding capacity decreased(P<0.01)in the experimental group.Moreover,the improvements in RBC,HCT,RET,SF,SI,TAST,ALB,and clinical symptoms(fatigue,anorexia,dull skin complexion,numbness of hands and feet)in the experimental group were significantly greater than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate for treating renal anemia was significantly higher in the experimental group than in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion The Jianpi Shengxue tablet demonstrates efficacy in treating renal anemia,leading to significant improvements in the laboratory examination results and clinical symptoms of patients with renal anemia. 展开更多

Selenium-doped cathode materials with polyaniline skeleton for lithium-organosulfur batteries

Sulfur-containing polymer(SCP)is considered as an outstanding cathode material for lithium-sulfur batteries.However,undesirable soluble polysulfides may shuttle in electrolyte,concluding long-chain Li_(2)S_(n)(n>4)and short-chain Li2Sn(n≤4),as well as the sluggish conversion kinetics are yet to be solved to enhance the performance of lithium-sulfur batteries.Here Se-doped sulfurized polyaniline with adjusted sulfur-chain-S_(x)-(x≤6)contribute to ensure the absence of long-chain polysulfides,and the skeleton with quinoid imine can endow strongly adsorption towards short-chain polysulfides by the reversible transition between deprotonated/protonated imine(-NH^(+)=and-N=),which offer double insurance against suppressing“shuttle effect”.Furthermore,Se atoms are doped into sulfurized polysulfides to accelerate the redox conversion and take a frontier orbital theory-oriented view into catalytic mechanism.Se-doped sulfurized polyaniline as active materials for lithium-organosulfur batteries delivers good electrochemical performance,including high rate,reversible specific capacity(680 mA h g^(-1)at 0.1 A g^(-1)),and lower capacity decay rate only of 0.15%with near 100%coulomb efficiency during long-term cycle.This work provides a valuable guiding ideology and promising solution for the chemistry-oriented structure design and practical application for lithium-organosulfur batteries. 展开更多

目的研究白芍总苷胶囊联合他克莫司胶囊治疗系统性红斑狼疮(SLE)患者的疗效及其对哺乳动物雷帕霉素靶蛋白(mTOR)信号通路的调控作用。方法选取2016年1月—2019年1月武汉市第一医院收治的96例SLE患者,依据治疗方案不同分为对照组、观察组... 目的研究白芍总苷胶囊联合他克莫司胶囊治疗系统性红斑狼疮(SLE)患者的疗效及其对哺乳动物雷帕霉素靶蛋白(mTOR)信号通路的调控作用。方法选取2016年1月—2019年1月武汉市第一医院收治的96例SLE患者,依据治疗方案不同分为对照组、观察组,每组48例。两组患者均行常规治疗,并使用他克莫司胶囊,观察组在对照组基础上服用白芍总苷胶囊。比较两组疗效,并检测患者治疗前后外周血免疫蛋白水平、mTOR信号通路相关蛋白相对表达量,同时比较不良反应发生情况和复发率。结果观察组总有效率高于对照组(93.75%VS 79.17%)(P<0.05)。观察组治疗前后SLEDAI评分及糖皮质激素用量的差值大于对照组(P<0.05)。观察组治疗前后血清免疫蛋白水平的差值大于对照组(P<0.05)。观察组治疗前后mTOR信号通路相关蛋白相对表达量的差值大于对照组(P<0.05)。患者主要不良反应为恶心、发热、腹泻。两组不良反应发生率比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05),观察组患者复发率低于对照组(10.86%VS 28.89%)(P<0.05)。结论白芍总苷胶囊联合他克莫司胶囊治疗SLE患者疗效显著,可通过抑制mTOR信号通路,改善患者免疫功能,从而降低复发率和减少糖皮质激素用量,安全性较好。 展开更多

On 3 July 2015, a Mw 6.4 earthquake occurred on a blind fault struck Pishan, Xinjiang,China. By combining Crustal Movement Observation Network of China(CMONOC) and other Static Global Positioning System(GPS) sites surrounding Pishan region, it provides a rare chance for us to constrain the slip rupture for such a moderate event. The maximum displacement is up to 12 cm, 2 cm for coseismic and postseismic deformation, respectively,and both the deformation patterns show a same direction moving northeastward. With rectangular dislocation model, a magnitude of Mw6.48, Mw6.3 is calculated based on coseismic, postseismic deformation respectively. Our result indicates the western Kunlun range is still moving toward Tarim Basin followed by an obvious postseismic slip associated with this earthquake. To determine a more reasonable model for postseismic deformation, a longer GPS dataset will be needed. 展开更多

AIM:To reveal whether and how Yes-associated protein(YAP)promotes the occurrence of subretinal fibrosis in agerelated macular degeneration(AMD).METHODS:Cobalt chloride(Co Cl2)was used in primary human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs)to induce hypoxia in vitro.Eight-week-old male C57 BL/6 J mice weighing 19-25 g were used for a choroidal neovascularization(CNV)model induced by laser photocoagulation in vivo.Expression levels of YAP,phosphorylated YAP,mesenchymal markers[αsmooth muscle actin(α-SMA),vimentin,and Snail],and endothelial cell markers(CD31 and zonula occludens 1)were measured by Western blotting,quantitative real-time PCR,and immunofluorescence microscopy.Small molecules YC-1(Lificiguat,a specific inhibitor of hypoxia-inducible factor 1α),CA3(CIL56,an inhibitor of YAP),and XMU-MP-1(an inhibitor of Hippo kinase MST1/2,which activates YAP)were used to explore the underlying mechanism.RESULTS:Co Cl2 increased expression of mesenchymal markers,decreased expression of endothelial cell markers,and enhanced the ability of primary HUVECs to proliferate and migrate.YC-1 suppressed hypoxia-induced endothelialto-mesenchymal transition(End MT).Moreover,hypoxia promoted total expression,inhibited phosphorylation,and enhanced the transcriptional activity of YAP.XMU-MP-1 enhanced hypoxia-induced End MT,whereas CA3 elicited the opposite effect.Expression of YAP,α-SMA,and vimentin were upregulated in the laser-induced CNV model.However,silencing of YAP by vitreous injection of small interfering RNA targeting YAP could reverse these changes.CONCLUSION:The findings reveal a critical role of the hypoxia-inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α)/YAP signaling axis in End MT and provide a new therapeutic target for treatment of subretinal fibrosis in AMD. 展开更多

Secondary sclerosing cholangitis(SSC)is a chronic cholestatic liver disease characterized by fibrosis and stricture of the bile ducts.SSC in association with multiple factors such as spontaneous choledochoduodenal fistula and metastatic gallbladder cancer has rarely been reported.However,to the best of our knowledge,reports of SSC after percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage(PTBD),especially in cases with diffuse calcification of the bile duct walls,have not been reported.We report a case of SSC from PTBD in a patient with gallbladder cancer after surgery.The patient underwent external percutaneous biliary drainage for malignant bile duct obstruction after cholecystectomy.Repeated exchanges were performed at the first and the sixth month after PTBD using an internal and external drainage catheter.Two months after the third catheter exchange,findings of laboratory and imaging examinations were suggestive of SSC.The liver function tests of the patient were suggestive of cholestasis.Multidetector computed tomography showed diffuse calcification of the bile duct walls.Cholangiography showed intrahepatic biliary stenosis or dilatation. 展开更多

Jatropha curcas seedlings were cultured for 21 d under 6 zinc concentrations of 0,25,50,100,200,400 mg/l to study the effects of ZnS O4 stress on the mechanism of resistance to heavy metal stress of J. curcas seedlings. The results showed that with the increase of stress concentration,the content of chlorophyll-a decreased and the activity of POD first increased and then maintained at a certain level or decreased slowly. The contents of soluble sugar,malondialdehyde,soluble protein and free proline increased,and the root activity increased first and then decreased. The relative conductivity of J. curcas seedlings decreased first and then increased,which indicated that the leaves of J. curcas seedlings had some adaptability and self-repairing capability under zinc toxicity stress,but the adaptability and self-repair ability were limited. 展开更多

On 22 May 2021,the Maduo Earthquake occurred on a branch fault of the East Kunlun fault in the Bayan Har Block,which provides opportunity to constrain fault geometry and strain accumulation and release for assessment of earthquake hazards.We processed the Sentinal-1A/B SAR images acquired before and after the earthquake,with which we constrained a finite fault model to best fit to the combined data set of downsampled InSAR image and GPS displacements.The inversion indicates that the Maduo event ruptured a 160 km long section striking 286.5°and a dipping 81.39°with rake angle of 4.62°.The model suggests three compact rupture areas with the slip amplitude exceeding 4 m on the main rupture section and the largest slip region is in the east of the epicenter with a slip of approximately 4.6 m below the surface,in a good agreement with the field geological survey.The total geodetic moment is 1.67×10^(20) N·m equivalent to Mw7.44,slightly larger than estimate of the USGS. 展开更多

Breakage rate is one of the most important indicators to evaluate the harvesting performance of a combine harvester.It is affected by operating parameters of a combine such as feeding rate,the peripheral speed of the threshing cylinder and concave clearance,and shows complex non-linear law.Real-time acquisition of the breakage rate is an effective way to find the correlation of them.In addition,real-time monitoring of the breakage rate can help the driver optimize and adjust the operating parameters of a combine harvester to avoid the breakage rate exceeding the standard.In this study,a real-time monitoring method for the grain breakage rate of the rice combine harvester based on machine vision was proposed.The structure of the sampling device was designed to obtain rice kernel images of high quality in the harvesting process.According to the working characteristics of the combine,the illumination and installation of the light source were optimized,and the lateral lighting system was constructed.A two-step method of“color training-verification”was applied to identify the whole and broken kernels.In the first step,the local threshold algorithm was used to get the edge of kernel particles in a few training images with binary transformation,extract the color spectrum of each particle in color-space HSL and output the recognition model file.The second step was to verify the recognition accuracy and the breakage rate monitoring accuracy through grabbing and processing images in the laboratory.The experiments of about 2300 particles showed that the recognition accuracy of 96%was attained,and the monitoring values of breakage rate and the true artificial monitoring values had good trend consistency.The monitoring device of grain breakage rate based on machine vision can provide technical supports for the intellectualization of combine harvester. 展开更多

The brake shoe key (... Condition monitoring ensures the safety of freight railroad operations. With the development of machine vision technology, visual inspection has become a principal means of condition monitoring. The brake shoe key (BSK) is an important component in the brake system, and its absence will lead to serious accidents. This paper presents a novel method for automated visual inspection of the BSK condition in freight cars. BSK images are first acquired by hardware devices. The subsequent in- spection process is divided into three stages: first, the region-of-interest (ROI) is segmented from the source image by an im- proved spatial pyramid matching scheme based on multi-scale census transform (MSCT). To localize the BSK in the ROI, cen- sus transform (CT) on gradient images is developed in the second stage. Then gradient encoding histogram (GEH) features and linear support vector machines (SVMs) are used to generate a BSK localization classifier. In the last stage, a condition classifier is trained by SVM, but the features are extracted from gray images. Finally, the ROI, BSK localization, and condition classifiers are cascaded to realize a completely automated inspection system. Experimental results show that the system achieves a correct inspection rate of 99.2% and a speed of 5 frames/s, which represents a good real-time performance and high recognition accuracy. 展开更多

For a long time,trouble detection and maintenance of freight cars have been completed manually by inspectors.To realize the transition from manual to computer-based detection and maintenance,we focus on dust collector localization under complex conditions in the trouble of moving freight car detection system.Using mid-level features which are also named flexible edge arrangement(FEA) features,we first build the edge-based 2D model of the dust collectors,and then match target objects by a weighted Hausdorff distance method.The difference is that the constructed weighting function is generated by the FEA features other than specified subjectively,which can truly reflect the most basic property regions of the 3D object.Experimental results indicate that the proposed algorithm has better robustness to variable lighting,different viewing angle,and complex texture,and it shows a stronger adaptive performance.The localization correct rate of the target object is over 90%,which completely meets the need of practical applications. 展开更多

It is a rapidly expanding field and has become an integral part of medical care. The Chinese Society of Interventional Radiology is one of the largest societies for IR in the world.[2] However, there is no independent IR curriculum among clinical undergraduate programs in China, which is not helpful for clinical medical undergraduates to improve their cognition for IR. In this article, we report our initial experience of the IR teaching curriculum and discuss whether awareness and interest of IR could be improved by a systematic study of IR curriculum among clinical medical undergraduates. 展开更多

In conjunction with the developmentof Li-S batteries, emerging sulfur-containing polymers with tunable sulfur-chain length and organic groups gradually attract much attention as cathodematerials. This can avoid the problems that are impeding the development ofthe typical Li-S batteries, such as volume expansion, active material dissolu-tion, shuttle effect, and so on. This review aims to generalize the type ofsulfur-containing polymers and the working principles in Li-S batteries. Thesulfur-containing polymers (R-Sn-R) with different sulfur-chain length (n > 6,n ≤ 2, and 3 ≤ n ≤ 6) are summarized. It also discusses several organic groupssuch as phenyl rings, N-heterocycles, and unique structure with cross-linkednetworks and multi-micropores skeleton. This review also explores other strat-egies of sulfur-containing polymers in the rest of Li-S batteries, providing asummary of the advantages of sulfur-containing polymers, recent develop-ment, in-depth discussion of the mechanism in Li-S batteries, and organicgroup-structure-performance relationship. The development of adaptive emotion regulation(ER)plays a pivotal role in adolescent mental health and socio-emotional adaptation.Dispositional optimism,as an important protective factor for adolescent adjustment,may affect adolescent ER and subsequently influence adaptive outcomes.In this review,the changes and challenges,the role of ER in socio-emotional adjustment,and the developmental characteristics of implicit and explicit ER during adolescence are described.Subsequently,by employing the top-down model of personality,coping,and emotion,how dispositional optimism may affect psychological adjustment from the perspective of ER is analyzed.Furthermore,how the differences in adolescents’dispositional optimism may be reflected by the differences in implicit ER is discussed.Finally,recommendations for future research are outlined. 展开更多
