Background:Explore the anti-tumor mechanism of herb pair Pinellia ternate-Magnolia officinalis(BX-HP)in liver cancer through network pharmacology using molecular docking methods.Method:The active ingredients and corre...Background:Explore the anti-tumor mechanism of herb pair Pinellia ternate-Magnolia officinalis(BX-HP)in liver cancer through network pharmacology using molecular docking methods.Method:The active ingredients and corresponding targets of the herb pair Pinellia ternate-Magnolia officinalis were obtained from the HERB database.The relevant targets for liver cancer were obtained from GeneCards,DisGeNET,TTD,and Drugbank databases.Obtain common targets between herb pair Pinellia ternate-Magnolia officinalis and liver cancer through the Bioinformatics platform,establish a PPI network diagram using STRING software,and perform GO functional enrichment and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis on the DAVID platform.AutoDockTools 1.5.7 software and molecular dynamics simulation analysis are used to evaluate the binding of components to target proteins.HERB database,SwissTargetPrediction database,SwissADME database,UniProt database,GeneCards database,TTD database,DRUGBANK database,DisGeNET database,String,DAVID.Bioinformatics platform,PDB database,PubChem and TCMSP database.Result:A total of 22 active ingredients with a Probability>0.1 targets in Magnolia officinalis were screened,26 active ingredients with a Probability>0.1 targets in Pinellia ternata,ten vital active ingredients,corresponding to 979 and 803 targets with a Probability>0.1 targets,2536 liver cancer-related targets,and 279 targets in the herb pair Pinellia ternata-Magnolia officinalis.The GO functional enrichment analysis resulted in 1297 entries,namely 971 biological process entries,118 cell localization entries,and 208 molecular function entries.Three signaling pathways were annotated through the KEGG pathway.Based on molecular docking,ten vital active ingredients and five target proteins were validated to exhibit an excellent binding affinity.The above data indicates that combining the herb pair Pinellia ternata-Magnolia officinalis may treat liver cancer through specific targets and signaling pathways.Conclusion:Herb pair Pinellia ternata-Magnolia officinalis has a synergistic effect on treating liver cancer through multicomponent,multitarget,and multi-pathway approaches.This study provides a sufficient theoretical basis for subsequent research.展开更多
With the help of the first principle calculation,the solid-state reaction experiment was conducted to investigate the alteration in the sintering and the microwave dielectric properties of Mg_(3)B_(2)O_(6)ceramic with...With the help of the first principle calculation,the solid-state reaction experiment was conducted to investigate the alteration in the sintering and the microwave dielectric properties of Mg_(3)B_(2)O_(6)ceramic with many Zn^(2+)substitutions.These properties were characterized using the scanning electron microscopy,network analyzer,X-ray diffraction,Raman spectroscopy,energy-dispersive spectroscopy,and thermomechanical and differential-thermal analyses.The coexistence of Mg_(3)B_(2)O_(6),Mg_(2)B_(2)O_(5)and ZnO ceramics could be observed with increasing Zn^(2+)addition,and the lattice distortion occurred in the Mg_(2)B_(2)O_(5)and Mg_(3)B_(2)O_(6)ceramics due to the substitution of Mg^(2+)with Zn^(2+).The electron density and the bond property of the MgO_(6)octahedron changed,and a quantitative method was used to discuss the variation in sintering,substitution and phase formation properties.The densification window was decreased to 1100℃,and the dielectric properties improved with the formation of a three-phase borate solid solution(dielectric constant=6.73,quality factor=112,000 GHz at 16 GHz(Q=7000),temperature coefficient of resonant frequency=-61.2 ppm℃^(-1),and relative density=97.0%).展开更多

METHODS: Expression of AQP3 and AQP9 was detected by Western blot...AIM: To investigate whether the regulation of aquaporin 3(AQP3) and AQP9 induced by Auphen and dibutyryl c AMP(dbc AMP) inhibits hepatic tumorigenesis. METHODS: Expression of AQP3 and AQP9 was detected by Western blot, immunohistochemistry(IHC), and RT-PCR in HCC samples and paired non-cancerous liver tissue samples from 30 hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) patients. A xenograft tumor model was used in vivo. Nine nude mice were divided into control, Auphen-treated, and dbc AMP-treated groups(n = 3 for each group). AQP3 and AQP9 protein expression after induction of xenograft tumors was detected by IHC and m RNA by RT-PCR analysis. The terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated d UTP nick end labeling assay and histological evaluation were used to detect apoptosis of tumor cells, and the concentration of serum α-fetoprotein(AFP) was measured using RTPCR and an ELISA kit.RESULTS: The volumes and weights of tumors decreased significantly in the Auphen- and dbc AMP-treated mice compared with the control mice(P < 0.01). The levels of AQP3 were significantly lower in the Auphen treatment group, and levels of AQP9 were significantly higher in thedbc AMP treatment mice than in the control mice(P < 0.01). The reduction of AQP3 by Auphen and increase of AQP9 by dbc AMP in nude mice suppressed tumor growth of HCC, which resulted in reduced AFP levels in serum and tissues, and apoptosis of tumor cells in the Auphen- and dbc AMP-treated mice, when compared with control mice(P < 0.01). Compared with para-carcinoma tissues, AQP3 expression increased in tumor tissues whereas the expression of AQP9 decreased. By correlating clinicopathological and expression levels, we demonstrated that the expression of AQP3 and AQP9 was correlated with clinical progression of HCC and disease outcomes. CONCLUSION: AQP3 increases in HCC while AQP9 decreases. Regulation of AQP3 and AQP9 expression by Auphen and dbc AMP inhibits the development and growth of HCC.展开更多

The experimental results showed that, in experimental conditions, The desorption rate decreased gradually with increasing ammonia concentrations. The desorption rate increased 12%, 17%, 19% and 28.8% when 1 mol/L of ammonia solution is added in 0.1 mol/L, 0.3 mol/L, 0.5 mol/L and 1 mol/L of sodium bicarbonate. The higher concentration of ammonium bicarbonate solution which was added sodium bicarbonate,the more observably the effect of CO2 desorption was promoted. The absorption rate had dropped when absorption process added 0.3 mol/L sodium bicarbonate, the CO2 loading was a little change.展开更多
Objective:To explore the molecular mechanism of Zixinyin oral liquid(ZOL)in the treatment of insomnia.Methods:The compounds and action targets of four herbal medicines in ZOL were collected via Traditional Chinese Med...Objective:To explore the molecular mechanism of Zixinyin oral liquid(ZOL)in the treatment of insomnia.Methods:The compounds and action targets of four herbal medicines in ZOL were collected via Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform.Genes corresponding to the targets were queried from the UniProt database.Genecards database was searched to screen the related targets of insomnia.A Gene Ontologyfunction enrichment analysis and a Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomespathway enrichment analysis were performed by Database for Annotation,Visualization and Integrated Discovery.AutoDock software was used for molecular docking to verify the results of network analysis.Results:A total of 47 effective compounds and 187 potential targets of ZOL were screened out from the four drugs.A total of 2592 disease targets were screened out from the genecards database,and there were 1576 genes whose relevance score≥0.5.46 genes were obtained by taking the intersection of 187 potential targets of ZOL and 1,576 targets of insomnia.A total of 3,405 entries were obtained from Gene Ontologyfunctional enrichment(P<0.05).A total of 195 signaling pathways were obtained through a Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomespathway analysis(P<0.05).Tumor necrosis factor,interleukin 17and hypoxia inducible factor-1signaling pathways were closely related to insomnia.The results of molecular docking show that all the core compounds of ZOL had a certain degree of affinity with gamma-aminobutyric acid receptor subunit alpha-1(GABRA1)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α).Paeoniflorgenone shows the highest affinity with GABRA1,and beta-sitosterol shows the highest affinity withTNF-α.ZOLmay have a therapeutic effect on insomnia through its action on targets such as GABRA1 and TNF-α,meanwhile regulating many signaling pathways.展开更多
Previous work found that different Japanese lineages of salamanders had quite different levels of species and genetic diversity. Lineages vary from having one to several species and the extent of genetic variation amo...Previous work found that different Japanese lineages of salamanders had quite different levels of species and genetic diversity. Lineages vary from having one to several species and the extent of genetic variation among lineages differs substantially. Most speciose,genus Hynobius contains 18 species and several potential cryptic species. We explore genetic diversity in this genus by combining comprehensive sampling and mitochondrial DNA sequences. Based on this and previous analyses of salamanders,relative times of divergence are employed to evaluate the relationship between age and diversity among the four major lineages whose distributions broadly overlap on the islands. For Hynobius,our analyses are congruent with the previously reported high level of cryptic diversity in morphology and allozymes,particularly in species composed of non-sister matrilines. Both species and genetic diversity correlate with the relative ages of the lineages. This correlation indicates that the variation in levels of diversity can be explained,to a considerable extent,by the hypothesis that older insular lineages have accumulated greater diversity. In addition to the Korean Peninsula,H. leechii might have survived in another Pleistocene glacial refugium north of the peninsula and this refugium provided a source of colonization after the last glacial maximum.展开更多
A nonlocal circulator protocol is proposed in a hybrid optomechanical system.By analogy with quantum communication,using the input-output relationship,we establish the quantum channel between two optical modes with lo...A nonlocal circulator protocol is proposed in a hybrid optomechanical system.By analogy with quantum communication,using the input-output relationship,we establish the quantum channel between two optical modes with long-range.The three-body nonlocal interaction between the cavity and the two oscillators is obtained by eliminating the optomechanical cavity mode and verifying the Bell-CHSH inequality of continuous variables.By introducing the phase accumulation between cyclic interactions,the unidirectional transmission of quantum state between the optical mode and two mechanical modes is achieved.The results show that nonreciprocal transmissions are achieved as long as the accumulated phase reaches a certain value.In addition,the effective interaction parameters in our system are amplified,which reduces the difficulty of the implementation of our protocol.Our research can provide potential applications for nonlocal manipulation and transmission control of quantum platforms.展开更多
