So in present investigation the River water quality was analyzed for the parameters like pH, Electrical Conductivity, Total Dissolved Solids, Total Hardness, Calcium, Magnesium, Alkalinity, Chloride, Dissolved Oxygen, Chemical Oxygen Demand, Biological Oxygen Demand. Sodium, Potassium, Sulphate, Phosphate and Nitrate. The water quality index for drinking purpose was calculated using same data. The grading system was used to assess the water quality index. The result indicates that the poor water quality at four sites ranging from 250 to 745. Only site 1 shows good water quality which is 36.08 which lies in grade B.展开更多
