The name came from Jingdechuanzhonglu(<景德传忠录>) and was used in the Chan sect of Buddhism. According to the book, in Song Dynansty, Judi Buddhist Monk asked Tianlong Buddhist Monk for the dhyana. Tianlong erected a finger but said nothing, Judi deeply comprehended the dhyana. Later on, if someone asked him for the Buddhism doctrine, he did the same act. Before Judi died, he said: 'I accepted a thumb Dhyana from Tianlong and benefited from it all my life.'展开更多
