It is known that eddy current effect has a great influence on magnetic flux leakage testing(MFL).Usually,contacttype encoder wheels are used to measure MFL testing speed to evaluate the effect and further compensate t...It is known that eddy current effect has a great influence on magnetic flux leakage testing(MFL).Usually,contacttype encoder wheels are used to measure MFL testing speed to evaluate the effect and further compensate testing signals.This speed measurement method is complicated,and inevitable abrasion and occasional slippage will reduce the measurement accuracy.In order to solve this problem,based on eddy current effect due to the relative movement,a speed measurement method is proposed,which is contactless and simple.In the high-speed MFL testing,eddy current induced in the specimen will cause an obvious modification to the applied field.This modified field,which is measured by Hall sensor,can be utilized to reflect the moving speed.Firstly,the measurement principle is illustrated based on Faraday’s law.Then,dynamic finite element simulations are conducted to investigate the modified magnetic field distribution.Finally,laboratory experiments are performed to validate the feasibility of the proposed method.The results show that Bmz(r1)and Bmx(r2)have a linear relation with moving speed,which could be used as an alternative measurement parameter.展开更多

The purpose of this study is to measure the expression of microRNA-4463 and microRNA-6087 between normal persons and patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),and to clarify the meaning of them in the prognosis eval...The purpose of this study is to measure the expression of microRNA-4463 and microRNA-6087 between normal persons and patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),and to clarify the meaning of them in the prognosis evaluation in HCC.Forty-five samples from healthy people and patients,who had been diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma before any treatment,were collected to study respectively.Real-time PCR was used to detect the expression of miRNA-4463 and miRNA-6087 in the serum of control group and hepatocellular carcinoma patients.The expression of miR-4463 in the serum of HCC patients was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.05),and the expression level was independent of gender,tumor size,cell types,stages,alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),total bilirubin(TBIL)and HBsAg status(P>0.05).But there was a significant difference of different level of AFP in HCC(P<0.05),and the difference between the group of AFP lower than 400 ug/l and the control group is statistically significant(P<0.05).Besides,the survival time had showed a significant difference at the high and low expression levels(P<0.05).But the expression level of miRNA-6087 was no difference in HCC and control group.The disorder of miRNA-4463 occurred in HCC,even the AFP level doesn’t rises.What’s more,patients who get the high level of miRNA-4463 seem to have a shorter survival time.And it contributes great to the prognostic evaluation.This is the first study to illustrate the potential significance of miRNA-4463 in the prognosis in HCC.展开更多
Background:COVID-19 has spread all around the world.Italy is one of the worst affected countries in Europe.Although there is a trend of relief,the epidemic situation hasn’t stabilized yet.This study aims to investiga...Background:COVID-19 has spread all around the world.Italy is one of the worst affected countries in Europe.Although there is a trend of relief,the epidemic situation hasn’t stabilized yet.This study aims to investigate the dynamics of the disease spread in Italy and provide some suggestions on containing the epidemic.Methods:We compared Italy’s status at the outbreak stage and control measures with Guangdong Province in China by data observation and analysis.A modified autonomous SEIR model was used to study the COVID-19 epidemic and transmission potential during the early stage of the outbreak in Italy.We also utilized a time-dependent dynamic model to study the future disease dynamics in Italy.The impact of various non-pharmaceutical control measures on epidemic was investigated through uncertainty and sensitivity analyses.Results:The comparison of specific measures implemented in the two places and the time when the measures were initiated shows that the initial prevention and control actions in Italy were not sufficiently timely and effective.We estimated parameter values based on available cumulative data and calculated the basic reproduction number to be 4.32 before the national lockdown in Italy.Based on the estimated parameter values,we performed numerical simulations to predict the epidemic trend and evaluate the impact of contact limitation,detection and diagnosis,and individual behavior change due to media coverage on the epidemic.Conclusions:Italy was in a severe epidemic status and the control measures were not sufficiently timely and effective in the beginning.Non-pharmaceutical interventions,including contact restrictions and improvement of case recognition,play an important role in containing the COVID-19 epidemic.The effect of individual behavior changes due to media update of the outbreak cannot be ignored.For policy-makers,early and strict blockade measures,fast detection and improving media publicity are key to containing the epidemic.展开更多
