A robust performance evaluation method for vapor cells used in magnetometers is proposed in this work.The performance of the vapor cell determines the sensitivity of the magnetic measurement,which is the core paramete...A robust performance evaluation method for vapor cells used in magnetometers is proposed in this work.The performance of the vapor cell determines the sensitivity of the magnetic measurement,which is the core parameter of a magnetometer.After establishing the relationship between intrinsic sensitivity and the total relaxation rate,the total relaxation rate of the vapor cell can be obtained to represent the intrinsic sensitivity of the magnetometer by fitting the parameters of the magnetic resonance experiments.The method for measurement of the total relaxation rate based on the magnetic resonance experiment proposed in this work is robust and insensitive to ambient noise.Experiments show that,compared with conventional sensitivity measurement,the total relaxation rate affected by magnetic noise below 0.9 n T,pump light frequency noise below 1.5 GHz,pump light power noise below 9%,probe light power noise below 3%and temperature fluctuation of 150±3℃deviates by less than 2%from the noise-free situation.This robust performance evaluation method for vapor cells is conducive to the construction of a multi-channel high-spatial-resolution cardio-encephalography system.展开更多
This paper investigates the atomic spin polarization controllability of spin-exchange relaxation-free co-magnetometers(SERFCMs).This is the first work in the field of controllability analysis for the atomic spin ensem...This paper investigates the atomic spin polarization controllability of spin-exchange relaxation-free co-magnetometers(SERFCMs).This is the first work in the field of controllability analysis for the atomic spin ensembles systems,whose dynamic behaviors of spin polarization are described by the Bloch equations.Based on the Bloch equations,a state-space model of the atomic spin polarization for SERFCM is first established,which belongs to a particular class of nonlinear systems.For this class of nonlinear systems,a novel determination method for the global state controllability is proposed and proved.Then,this method is implemented in the process of controllability analysis on the atomic spin polarization of an actual SERFCM.Moreover,a theoretically feasible and reasonable solution of the control input is proposed under some physical constraints,with whose limitation of realistic conditions,the controller design can be accomplished more practically and more exactly.Finally,the simulation results demonstrate the feasibility and validation of the proposed controllability determination method.展开更多
A method of in-situ reduction to prepare Au@Pt core-satellite nanopar- ticles (NPs) is described by using Au NPs coating poly[1-methyl 3-(2-methacryloyloxy propylimidazolium bromine)] (PMMPImB-@-Au NPs) as the t...A method of in-situ reduction to prepare Au@Pt core-satellite nanopar- ticles (NPs) is described by using Au NPs coating poly[1-methyl 3-(2-methacryloyloxy propylimidazolium bromine)] (PMMPImB-@-Au NPs) as the template. After electrostatic complex chloroplatinic acid with PMMPImB shell, the composite NP was directly reduced with N2H4 to produce Au@Pt core-satellite NPs. The characterization of composite and core-satellite NPs under different amounts of chloroplatinic acid were studied by DLS, UV-vis absorption spectrum and TEM. The satellite Pt NPs with a small size (-2 nm) dotted around Au core, and the resulting Au@Pt core-satellite NPs showed a red-shift surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and a good dispersion due to effectively electrostatic repulsion providing by the polymeric ionic liquid (PIL) shell. Finally, Au@Pt core-satellite NPs exhibit an enhanced catalytic activity and cycled catalytic capability for the reduction ofp- nitrophenol with NaBH4.展开更多
