1988年4月,在瑞典斯德哥尔摩举行了摄影测量与遥感研讨会,本文是为该次会议而写的一篇总结报告。“土地信息系统”作为日本的一项国家级项目,是从1974年开始上马的,也正是在那个时侯成立了国土厅。后来,国家级信息就通过人工读入、数字... 1988年4月,在瑞典斯德哥尔摩举行了摄影测量与遥感研讨会,本文是为该次会议而写的一篇总结报告。“土地信息系统”作为日本的一项国家级项目,是从1974年开始上马的,也正是在那个时侯成立了国土厅。后来,国家级信息就通过人工读入、数字化器、滚筒式扫描仪等手段实现了数字化。这些信息包括高程、海岸线、土地利用、地块形状、土地状况、道路和铁路、排水、政区境界、公共设施、土地价格、工业统计数字、农业统计数字等。建设省所属的日本国土地理院(GSI),在几年前就开始了以现有的1:2,500大比例尺地图为基础的“数字制图”工作。国土厅(NLA)也正在建立土地利用,地块形状、表层地质、坡度、植被、排水设施密度等方面的、基于现有1:50,000专题地图的数据库。目前,煤气供给、水供给、污水处理、通讯、铁路等等这样一些公共事业部门,正在把地理信息用于管理或者维护管线、电缆、铁路或其它所有没施。大城市的住房信息也在数字化,以便提供关于地理位置、地址、居民、地皮价格等方面的、具有商业色彩的常用信息。国家的、地区的、地方的、公共的及商用的各种土地信息系统,目前正在运行或尚在建设之中。 展开更多

Preface I am pleased to contribute an article to GSIS to commemorate the great achievements of Prof.Dr.Gottfried Konecny on the occasion of the celebration of his 90th birthday.I was lucky to work closely with Gottfried as an ISPRS Council member for the first time in 1984 in Rio de Janeiro,Brazil,when I was elected as Congress Director of the Kyoto ISPRS Congress to be held in 1988.Gottfried was elected as ISPRS President for 1984~1988.At the first Council meeting under the President Gottfried,he said to all Council members“as we are like a family,I request that we address each other by our first names”.If he had not said this,I might have called him Professor Konecny,according to Japanese custom. 展开更多

Prediction of earthquakes using GPS remains an unsolved but important problem.Pre-signals in terms of changes in triangular networks of GPS Stations were examined for many large earthquakes in Japan and in other Asian regions.I discovered that the occurrence and location of an earthquake can be predicted with pre-signals found in GPS data analysis.However,more research is required to predict how many days after the pre-signals an earthquake will occur. 展开更多
