On December 18,2023,an M_(s)6.2 earthquake occurred in Jishishan,Gansu Province,China.This earthquake happened in the eastern region of the Qilian Orogenic Belt,which is situated at the forefront of the NE margin of t...On December 18,2023,an M_(s)6.2 earthquake occurred in Jishishan,Gansu Province,China.This earthquake happened in the eastern region of the Qilian Orogenic Belt,which is situated at the forefront of the NE margin of the Tibetan Plateau(i.e.,Qinghai-Tibet Plateau),encompassing a rhombic-shaped area that intersects the Qilian-Qaidam Basin,Alxa Block,Ordos Block,and South China Block.In this study,we analyzed the deep tectonic pattern of the Jishishan earthquake by incorporating data on the crustal thickness,velocity structure,global navigation satellite system(GNSS)strain field,and anisotropy.We discovered that the location of the earthquake was related to changes in the crustal structure.The results showed that the Jishishan M_(s)6.2 earthquake occurred in a unique position,with rapid changes in the crustal thickness,Vp/Vs,phase velocity,and S-wave velocity.The epicenter of the earthquake was situated at the transition zone between high and low velocities and was in proximity to a low-velocity region.Additionally,the source area is flanked by two high-velocity anomalies from the east and west.The principal compressive strain orientation near the Lajishan Fault is primarily in the NNE and NE directions,which align with the principal compressive stress direction in this region.In some areas of the Lajishan Fault,the principal compressive strain orientations show the NNW direction,consistent with the direction of the upper crustal fast-wave polarization from local earthquakes and the phase velocity azimuthal anisotropy.These features underscore the relationship between the occurrence of the Jishishan M_(s)6.2 earthquake and the deep inhomogeneous structure and deep tectonic characteristics.The NE margin of the Tibetan Plateau was thickened by crustal extension in the process of northeastward expansion,and the middle and lower crustal materials underwent structural deformation and may have been filled with salt-containing fluids during the extension process.The presence of this weak layer makes it easier for strong earthquakes to occur through the release of overlying rigid crustal stresses.However,it is unlikely that an earthquake of comparable or larger magnitude would occur in the short term(e.g.,in one year)at the Jishishan east margin fault.展开更多
In recent years,mobile Internet technology and location based services have wide application.Application providers and users have accumulated huge amount of trajectory data.While publishing and analyzing user trajecto...In recent years,mobile Internet technology and location based services have wide application.Application providers and users have accumulated huge amount of trajectory data.While publishing and analyzing user trajectory data have brought great convenience for people,the disclosure risks of user privacy caused by the trajectory data publishing are also becoming more and more prominent.Traditional k-anonymous trajectory data publishing technologies cannot effectively protect user privacy against attackers with strong background knowledge.For privacy preserving trajectory data publishing,we propose a differential privacy based(k-Ψ)-anonymity method to defend against re-identification and probabilistic inference attack.The proposed method is divided into two phases:in the first phase,a dummy-based(k-Ψ)-anonymous trajectory data publishing algorithm is given,which improves(k-δ)-anonymity by considering changes of thresholdδon different road segments and constructing an adaptive threshold setΨthat takes into account road network information.In the second phase,Laplace noise regarding distance of anonymous locations under differential privacy is used for trajectory perturbation of the anonymous trajectory dataset outputted by the first phase.Experiments on real road network dataset are performed and the results show that the proposed method improves the trajectory indistinguishability and achieves good data utility in condition of preserving user privacy.展开更多

In yeast, the deadenylation reaction is predominantly mediated by CCR4 and CCR4- associated factor 1 (CAF1), two components of the well-characterised protein complex named CCR4-NOT. We report here that AtCAF1a and AtCAF1b, putative Arabidopsis homologs of the yeast CAF1 gene, partially complement the growth defect of the yeast call mutant in the presence of caffeine or at high temperatures. The expression of At-CAF1a and AtCAFlb is induced by multiple stress-related hormones and stimuli. Both AtCAF1a and AtCAFlb show deadenylation activity in vitro and point mutations in the predicted active sites disrupt this activity. T-DNA insertion mutants disrupting the expression of AtCAF1a and/or AtCAF1b are defective in deadenylation of stress-related mRNAs, indicating that the two AtCAF1 proteins are involved in regulated mRNA deadenylation in vivo. Interestingly, the single and double mutants of AtCAF1a and AtCAFlb show reduced expression of pathogenesis-related (PR) genes PR1 and PR2 and are more susceptible to Pseudomonas syringae pv tomato DC3000 (Pst DC3000) infection, whereas transgenic plants over-expressing AtCAFla show elevated expression of PR1 and PR2 and increased resis-tance to the same pathogen. Our results suggest roles of the AtCAF1 proteins in regulated mRNA deadenylation and defence responses to pathogen infections.展开更多

Results indicated that population aging has a double threshold effect on the integral industrial structure upgrading, whose influence increases first and then decreases, significantly promoting the upgrading process. As for internal structure, population aging has no significant threshold effect on the upgrading in the secondary industry, but exerts a single negative threshold effect in the tertiary industry. When economic development is under the threshold, its negative impact is greater. Further analysis also suggests that regional differences exist significantly in the threshold effect of population aging on the industrial structure upgrading.展开更多
With the popularity of sensor-rich mobile devices,mobile crowdsensing(MCS)has emerged as an effective method for data collection and processing.However,MCS platform usually need workers’precise locations for optimal ...With the popularity of sensor-rich mobile devices,mobile crowdsensing(MCS)has emerged as an effective method for data collection and processing.However,MCS platform usually need workers’precise locations for optimal task execution and collect sensing data from workers,which raises severe concerns of privacy leakage.Trying to preserve workers’location and sensing data from the untrusted MCS platform,a differentially private data aggregation method based on worker partition and location obfuscation(DP-DAWL method)is proposed in the paper.DP-DAWL method firstly use an improved K-means algorithm to divide workers into groups and assign different privacy budget to the group according to group size(the number of workers).Then each worker’s location is obfuscated and his/her sensing data is perturbed by adding Laplace noise before uploading to the platform.In the stage of data aggregation,DP-DAWL method adopts an improved Kalman filter algorithm to filter out the added noise(including both added noise of sensing data and the system noise in the sensing process).Through using optimal estimation of noisy aggregated sensing data,the platform can finally gain better utility of aggregated data while preserving workers’privacy.Extensive experiments on the synthetic datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.展开更多

Objective:It has been documented that ezrin/radixin/moesin(ERM)phosphorylation by the p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK),Rho/ROCK,and protein kinase C(PKC)pathways leads to filamentous actin(F-actin)reorganiza...Objective:It has been documented that ezrin/radixin/moesin(ERM)phosphorylation by the p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK),Rho/ROCK,and protein kinase C(PKC)pathways leads to filamentous actin(F-actin)reorganization and microvascular endothelial cell hyperpermeability.In this study,we investigated the effects of Xijiao Dihuang Decoction combined with Yinqiao Powder(XDY)on influenza virus(IV)-induced F-actin restructuring and ERM phosphorylation regulated by the Rho/Rho kinase 1(ROCK),p38 MAPK,and PKC signaling pathways in pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells(PMVECs).Methods:Serum containing XDY(XDY-CS;13.8 g/kg)was acquired using standard protocols for serum pharmacology.Primary PMVECs were obtained from male Wistar rats and cultured.After adsorption of IV A(multiplicity of infection,0.01)for 1 h,medium with 20%XDY-CS was added to the PMVECs.The distributions of F-actin and phosphorylated ERM were determined by confocal microscopy,and F-actin expression was measured by flow cytometry.The expression levels of ROCK1,phosphorylated myosin phosphatase target-subunit(p-MYPT),phosphorylated MAPK kinase,phosphorylated p38(p-p38),phosphorylated PKC(p-PKC),and phosphorylated ERM(p-ERM)were determined by western blotting.Results:F-actin reorganization in IV-infected PMVECs was reversed by XDY-CS treatment,which was accompanied by reduced p-ERM production.The p-ERM protein accumulated at plasma membrane of PMVECs infected with IV,which was also inhibited by XDY-CS treatment.展开更多

[ Method] Partial sequences of DDX3Y gene in male horse, male donkey, male mule, male hinny and male foal were obtained by genome comparison, sequencing and cloning, and compared by bioinformatics methods. [ Result] The CDS regions varied in 5 base pairs and two amino acids. DDX3Y protein was predicted to be an unstable protein. In addition, the results also showed that DDX3 Y gene in male horse displayed a closer phylogenetic relationship to male mule and male foal; DDX3Y gene in male donkey displayed a closer phylogenetic relationship to male hinny. The organic cocrystal strategy has provided a convenient and efficient platform for preparing organic photothermal materials.However,the rapidly directional preparation of cocrystals with desirable photothermal proper...The organic cocrystal strategy has provided a convenient and efficient platform for preparing organic photothermal materials.However,the rapidly directional preparation of cocrystals with desirable photothermal properties remains challenging due to a lack of suitable design ideas.Here,two new photothermal cocrystals,MTC and MFC,based on acceptor molecules(TCNQ and F4TCNQ)with different electron-withdrawing capacities were quickly prepared by the coprecipitation method,aiming to explore the effect of charge transfer(CT)interaction on photothermal properties.Compared with MTC,the stronger intermolecular CT interaction in MFC facilitates extending the absorption range(from the NIR-I to the NIR-II region)and enhancing the non-radiative transition process.Under the 808 nm laser irradiation,the photothermal conversion efficiency(PCE)of MFC is 54.6%,whereas MTC displays a mere 36.8%.The MFC cocrystal was further combined with a flexible polymer substrate(HPDMS)to prepare a flexible wearable heater(HPDMS@MFC),which exhibits excellent NIR-II photothermal performance.This work points out a research direction for the rapid assembly of efficient photothermal cocrystals and additionally provides an extensive application prospect for organic photothermal cocrystals in the field of wearable devices.展开更多
The intrinsic neural timescale(INT)provides temporal windows in brain activity that process information of different durations,crucial for the integration and segregation of external inputs and ultimately shaping cogn...The intrinsic neural timescale(INT)provides temporal windows in brain activity that process information of different durations,crucial for the integration and segregation of external inputs and ultimately shaping cognition and behavior.Recent research has uncovered a pronounced INT hierarchy along the adult hippocampus's longaxis.Yet,the development of INT organization within the hippocampus—particularly the pattern of its hierarchical structure and its impact on cognitive development—has not been thoroughly investigated in youth.Here,we discovered that the INT distribution in youth presents a distinct hierarchical structure along both posterioranterior and proximal-distal axes of the hippocampus.Strikingly,this hierarchical structure correlates signifi-cantly with the first principal gradient of the hippocampal-cortical functional connectome and the thickness of hippocampal grey matter.Furthermore,we observed notable changes in the hippocampal INT landscape during youth,characterized by a general narrowing of timescales,alongside dedifferentiation along the hippocampal organizational axes.These maturational changes significantly link to improvements in inhibitory control and working memory performance.Collectively,our findings reveal the developmental patterns of temporal integration and segregation hierarchies within hippocampus,and highlights the profound significance of INT as a neural underpinning that orchestrates cognitive growth.展开更多

Brassinosteroids(BRs)are plant-specific steroid hormones which regulate plant growth,development,and adaptation.Transcriptional regulation plays key roles in plant hormone signaling.A mediator can serve as a bridge be...Brassinosteroids(BRs)are plant-specific steroid hormones which regulate plant growth,development,and adaptation.Transcriptional regulation plays key roles in plant hormone signaling.A mediator can serve as a bridge between gene-specific transcription factors and the RNA polymerase machinery,functioning as an essential component in regulating the transcriptional process.However,whether a mediator is involved in BR signaling is unknown.Here,we discovered that Oryza sativa mediator subunit 25(Os MED25)is an important regulator of rice BR signaling.Phenotypic analyses showed that the Os MED25-RNAi and osmed25 mutant presented erect leaves,as observed in BR-deficient mutants.In addition,the Os MED25-RNAi and osmed25 mutant exhibited decreased BR sensitivity.Genetic analysis indicated that Os MED25-RNAi could suppress the enhanced BR signaling phenotype of Osbzr1-D.Further biochemical analysis showed that Os MED25 interacts with Os BZR1 in vivo,and Os MED25 is enriched on the promoter of Os BZR1 target genes.RNA sequencing analysis indicated that Os MED25 affects the expression of approximately 45%of Os BZR1-regulated genes and mainly functions as a corepressor of Os BZR1.Together,these findings revealed that Os MED25 regulates rice BR signaling by interacting with Os BZR1 and modulating the expression of Os BZR1 target genes,thus expanding our understanding of the roles of mediators in plant hormone signaling.展开更多

Detailed spectroscopic, computational, and structural studies exhibit that obvious charge transfer interactions occur in loosely mixed-stacking cocrystals. Such interactions can be weakened by acid vapor fuming due to the strong electron-withdrawing effect of acid cations and strengthened under mechanical grinding. Furthermore,the response time of the cocrystal is in the order of seconds,which is much superior to those of most previously reported stimuli-responsive cocrystals. Accordingly, a high-sensitive fluorescence switching is demonstrated under multiple stimuli, providing an effective strategy to develop smart materials.展开更多

Objectives This study aimed to investigate the therapeutic effects of Suan Zao Ren(Semen Ziziphi Spinosae,SZS)extract on insomnia induced by p-chlorophenylalanine(PCPA)in rats and its influence on the thioredoxin-inte...Objectives This study aimed to investigate the therapeutic effects of Suan Zao Ren(Semen Ziziphi Spinosae,SZS)extract on insomnia induced by p-chlorophenylalanine(PCPA)in rats and its influence on the thioredoxin-interacting protein(TXNIP)/nucleotide-binding domain Leucine-rich repeat and pyrin domain-containing receptor 3(NLRP3)inflammasome pathway,and to preliminarily explore themechanism by which SZS extract improves insomnia.Methods Fifty male Sprague–Dawley(SD)rats were used,with 8 rats in the blank group and 42 rats in the modeling group.The modeling group was induced by intraperitoneal injection of PCPA at a dose of 500mg·kg^(-1) for six consecutive days,with daily cage exchange.After 6 days,40 successfully modeled rats were randomly divided into five groups:themodel group(equal volume of distilled water),the positive group(0.75 mg·kg^(-1)),and low-,medium-,and high-dose SZS extract groups(1.5,3,and 6 g·kg^(-1),respectively),with 8 rats in each group.Treatments were administered for seven consecutive days.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to measure levels of 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)and gamma-aminobutyric acid(GABA)in the rat cerebral cortex.The thiobarbituric acid(TBA)method was used to determine malondialdehyde(MDA)levels,and the hydroxylamine method was used to determine superoxide dismutase(SOD)levels.The 2,2′-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid)method was used to measure total antioxidant capacity(TAOC)in the cerebral cortex.Pathological changes in the cerebral cortex were observed,and Western blot was used to detect the protein expressions of TXNIP,NLRP3,apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a Caspase activation and recruitment domain(CARD),and cysteine–aspartate-specific protease 1(Caspase-1)in the cerebral cortex.Results Compared with the blank group,the model group showed a significantly prolonged sleep latency(p<0.001)and a significantly shortened sleep duration(p<0.001).There were no changes in serum MDA and SOD levels.MDA levels in the cerebral cortex were significantly increased(p<0.001),while SOD and TAOC levels were significantly decreased(p<0.001).The 5-HT level was increased(p<0.05),and the GABA level was significantly decreased(p<0.001).SZS extract improved these conditions to varying degrees.Light microscopy showed no significant changes in cortical neurons but transmission electron microscopy revealed intact mitochondrial structures in the blank group,while the model group showed swollen and unclear mitochondria with reduced organelles.After 7 days of treatment,these conditions improved in the SZS extract groups.Compared with the blank group,the expressions of the four proteins in the model group were increased,and the expressions of these proteins were decreased in the SZS extract groups compared with the model group.Conclusion SZS extract may exert an antioxidant effect to treat insomnia by downregulating the expression of TXNIP/NLRP3 proteins and regulating oxidative stress levels in the cerebral cortex.展开更多
Current tribocorrosion research of metallic materials and their surface protective coatings mainly focuses on their short-term properties,with test time of 0.5‒2.0 h and a sliding distance 50‒500 m,which may significa...Current tribocorrosion research of metallic materials and their surface protective coatings mainly focuses on their short-term properties,with test time of 0.5‒2.0 h and a sliding distance 50‒500 m,which may significantly deviate from the practical long-term service condition and thus cause a catastrophe of marine equipments.In this study,three carbon-based multilayer coatings(Ti/DLC,TiC_(x)/DLC,and Ti‒TiC_(x)/DLC)were deposited on S32750 substrates,and both short-term and long-term tribocorrosion behaviors were investigated.The experimental results indicate that the coatings substantially improve the tribocorrosion resistance of the S32750 stainless steel.During the short-term tribocorrosion test,TiC_(x)/DLC exhibited the best tribocorrosion resistance owing to its high hardness.During the long-term tribocorrosion test,however,Ti‒TiC_(x)/DLC coating indicated the best anti-tribocorrosion performance owing to its excellent fracture toughness together with high hardness.Moreover,under 5 N,Ti‒TiC_(x)/DLC can withstand a long-term test of more than 24 h.Additionally,under a higher load of 20 N,the Ti‒TiC_(x)/DLC with a corresponding sliding distance of approximately 1,728 m maintained a low friction coefficient of approximately 0.06.However,the coating was completely worn out;this is attributable to the formation of tribocorrosion products consisting of graphitized carbon and nanocrystalline Fe_(x)O_(y).展开更多

文摘On December 18,2023,an M_(s)6.2 earthquake occurred in Jishishan,Gansu Province,China.This earthquake happened in the eastern region of the Qilian Orogenic Belt,which is situated at the forefront of the NE margin of the Tibetan Plateau(i.e.,Qinghai-Tibet Plateau),encompassing a rhombic-shaped area that intersects the Qilian-Qaidam Basin,Alxa Block,Ordos Block,and South China Block.In this study,we analyzed the deep tectonic pattern of the Jishishan earthquake by incorporating data on the crustal thickness,velocity structure,global navigation satellite system(GNSS)strain field,and anisotropy.We discovered that the location of the earthquake was related to changes in the crustal structure.The results showed that the Jishishan M_(s)6.2 earthquake occurred in a unique position,with rapid changes in the crustal thickness,Vp/Vs,phase velocity,and S-wave velocity.The epicenter of the earthquake was situated at the transition zone between high and low velocities and was in proximity to a low-velocity region.Additionally,the source area is flanked by two high-velocity anomalies from the east and west.The principal compressive strain orientation near the Lajishan Fault is primarily in the NNE and NE directions,which align with the principal compressive stress direction in this region.In some areas of the Lajishan Fault,the principal compressive strain orientations show the NNW direction,consistent with the direction of the upper crustal fast-wave polarization from local earthquakes and the phase velocity azimuthal anisotropy.These features underscore the relationship between the occurrence of the Jishishan M_(s)6.2 earthquake and the deep inhomogeneous structure and deep tectonic characteristics.The NE margin of the Tibetan Plateau was thickened by crustal extension in the process of northeastward expansion,and the middle and lower crustal materials underwent structural deformation and may have been filled with salt-containing fluids during the extension process.The presence of this weak layer makes it easier for strong earthquakes to occur through the release of overlying rigid crustal stresses.However,it is unlikely that an earthquake of comparable or larger magnitude would occur in the short term(e.g.,in one year)at the Jishishan east margin fault.

文摘In recent years,mobile Internet technology and location based services have wide application.Application providers and users have accumulated huge amount of trajectory data.While publishing and analyzing user trajectory data have brought great convenience for people,the disclosure risks of user privacy caused by the trajectory data publishing are also becoming more and more prominent.Traditional k-anonymous trajectory data publishing technologies cannot effectively protect user privacy against attackers with strong background knowledge.For privacy preserving trajectory data publishing,we propose a differential privacy based(k-Ψ)-anonymity method to defend against re-identification and probabilistic inference attack.The proposed method is divided into two phases:in the first phase,a dummy-based(k-Ψ)-anonymous trajectory data publishing algorithm is given,which improves(k-δ)-anonymity by considering changes of thresholdδon different road segments and constructing an adaptive threshold setΨthat takes into account road network information.In the second phase,Laplace noise regarding distance of anonymous locations under differential privacy is used for trajectory perturbation of the anonymous trajectory dataset outputted by the first phase.Experiments on real road network dataset are performed and the results show that the proposed method improves the trajectory indistinguishability and achieves good data utility in condition of preserving user privacy.

文摘The northeastern part of the Tibetan Plateau is a region where different tectonic blocks collide and intersect,and large earthquakes are frequent.Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)observations show that tectonic deformation in this region is strong and manifests as non-uniform deformation associated with tectonic features.S-wave splitting studies of near-field seismic data show that seismic anisotropy parameters can also reveal the upper crustal medium deformation beneath the reporting station.In this paper,we summarize the surface deformation from GNSS observations and crustal deformation from seismic anisotropy data in the northeastern Tibetan Plateau.By comparing the principal compressive strain direction with the fast S-wave polarization direction of near-field S-wave splitting,we analyzed deformation and its differences in surface and upper crustal media in the northeastern Tibetan Plateau and adjacent areas.The principal compressive strain direction derived from GNSS is generally consistent with the polarization direction of fast S-waves,but there are also local tectonic regions with large differences between them,which reflect the different deformation mechanisms of regional upper crustal media.The combination of GNSS and seismic anisotropy data can reveal the depth variation characteristics of crustal deformation and deepen understanding of three-dimensional crustal deformation and the deep dynamical mechanisms underlying it.it.

文摘Atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease and its complications are a high-incidence disease worldwide.Numerous studies have shown that blood flow shear has a huge impact on the function of vascular endothelial cells,and it plays an important role in gene regulation of pro-inflammatory,pro-thrombotic,pro-oxidative stress,and cell permeability.Many impor-tant endothelial cell mechanosensitive genes have been discovered,including KLK10,CCN gene family,NRP2,YAP,TAZ,HIF-1α,NF-kB,FOS,JUN,TFEB,KLF2/KLF4,NRF2,and ID1.Some of them have been intensively studied,whereas the relevant regulatory mechanism of other genes remains unclear.Focusing on these mechanosensitive genes will provide new strategies for therapeutic intervention in atherosclerotic vascular disease.Thus,this article reviews the mechanosensitive genes affecting vascular endothelial cells,including classical pathways and some newly screened genes,and summarizes the latest research progress on their roles in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis to reveal effective therapeutic targets of drugs and provide new insights foranti-atherosclerosis.

文摘The development of n-type semiconductor is still far behind that of p-type semiconductor on account of the challenges in enhancing carrier mobility and environmental stability.Herein,by blending with the polymers,n-type ultrathin crystalline thin film was successfully prepared by the method of meniscus-guided coating.Remarkably,the n-type crystalline films exhibit ultrathin thickness as low as 5 nm and excellent mobility of 1.58 cm^(2) V^(-1) s^(-1),which is outstanding in currently reported organic n-type transistors.Moreover,the PS layer provides a high-quality interface with ultralow defect which has strong resistance to external interference with excellent long-term stability,paving the way for the application of n-type transistors in logic circuits.
文摘Messenger RNA (mRNA) turnover in eukaryotic cells begins with shortening of the poly (A) tail at the 3' end, a process called deadenylation. In yeast, the deadenylation reaction is predominantly mediated by CCR4 and CCR4- associated factor 1 (CAF1), two components of the well-characterised protein complex named CCR4-NOT. We report here that AtCAF1a and AtCAF1b, putative Arabidopsis homologs of the yeast CAF1 gene, partially complement the growth defect of the yeast call mutant in the presence of caffeine or at high temperatures. The expression of At-CAF1a and AtCAFlb is induced by multiple stress-related hormones and stimuli. Both AtCAF1a and AtCAFlb show deadenylation activity in vitro and point mutations in the predicted active sites disrupt this activity. T-DNA insertion mutants disrupting the expression of AtCAF1a and/or AtCAF1b are defective in deadenylation of stress-related mRNAs, indicating that the two AtCAF1 proteins are involved in regulated mRNA deadenylation in vivo. Interestingly, the single and double mutants of AtCAF1a and AtCAFlb show reduced expression of pathogenesis-related (PR) genes PR1 and PR2 and are more susceptible to Pseudomonas syringae pv tomato DC3000 (Pst DC3000) infection, whereas transgenic plants over-expressing AtCAFla show elevated expression of PR1 and PR2 and increased resis-tance to the same pathogen. Our results suggest roles of the AtCAF1 proteins in regulated mRNA deadenylation and defence responses to pathogen infections.

文摘This paper constructs coefficients of the integral and the internal structure upgrading in the secondary and tertiary industries, selects per capita real gross domestic product as a threshold variable and build panel threshold model according to inter-provincial panel data of China from 1998 to 2016. Results indicated that population aging has a double threshold effect on the integral industrial structure upgrading, whose influence increases first and then decreases, significantly promoting the upgrading process. As for internal structure, population aging has no significant threshold effect on the upgrading in the secondary industry, but exerts a single negative threshold effect in the tertiary industry. When economic development is under the threshold, its negative impact is greater. Further analysis also suggests that regional differences exist significantly in the threshold effect of population aging on the industrial structure upgrading.

文摘With the popularity of sensor-rich mobile devices,mobile crowdsensing(MCS)has emerged as an effective method for data collection and processing.However,MCS platform usually need workers’precise locations for optimal task execution and collect sensing data from workers,which raises severe concerns of privacy leakage.Trying to preserve workers’location and sensing data from the untrusted MCS platform,a differentially private data aggregation method based on worker partition and location obfuscation(DP-DAWL method)is proposed in the paper.DP-DAWL method firstly use an improved K-means algorithm to divide workers into groups and assign different privacy budget to the group according to group size(the number of workers).Then each worker’s location is obfuscated and his/her sensing data is perturbed by adding Laplace noise before uploading to the platform.In the stage of data aggregation,DP-DAWL method adopts an improved Kalman filter algorithm to filter out the added noise(including both added noise of sensing data and the system noise in the sensing process).Through using optimal estimation of noisy aggregated sensing data,the platform can finally gain better utility of aggregated data while preserving workers’privacy.Extensive experiments on the synthetic datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

文摘Objective:It has been documented that ezrin/radixin/moesin(ERM)phosphorylation by the p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK),Rho/ROCK,and protein kinase C(PKC)pathways leads to filamentous actin(F-actin)reorganization and microvascular endothelial cell hyperpermeability.In this study,we investigated the effects of Xijiao Dihuang Decoction combined with Yinqiao Powder(XDY)on influenza virus(IV)-induced F-actin restructuring and ERM phosphorylation regulated by the Rho/Rho kinase 1(ROCK),p38 MAPK,and PKC signaling pathways in pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells(PMVECs).Methods:Serum containing XDY(XDY-CS;13.8 g/kg)was acquired using standard protocols for serum pharmacology.Primary PMVECs were obtained from male Wistar rats and cultured.After adsorption of IV A(multiplicity of infection,0.01)for 1 h,medium with 20%XDY-CS was added to the PMVECs.The distributions of F-actin and phosphorylated ERM were determined by confocal microscopy,and F-actin expression was measured by flow cytometry.The expression levels of ROCK1,phosphorylated myosin phosphatase target-subunit(p-MYPT),phosphorylated MAPK kinase,phosphorylated p38(p-p38),phosphorylated PKC(p-PKC),and phosphorylated ERM(p-ERM)were determined by western blotting.Results:F-actin reorganization in IV-infected PMVECs was reversed by XDY-CS treatment,which was accompanied by reduced p-ERM production.The p-ERM protein accumulated at plasma membrane of PMVECs infected with IV,which was also inhibited by XDY-CS treatment.

文摘[ Objective] This study analyzed the differences in DDX3 Y gene sequences among male horse, male donkey, male mule, male hinny and male foal to investigate the relationship between DDX3Y gene structure and the mechanism of infertility in male Equus fetus × asirms. [ Method] Partial sequences of DDX3Y gene in male horse, male donkey, male mule, male hinny and male foal were obtained by genome comparison, sequencing and cloning, and compared by bioinformatics methods. [ Result] The CDS regions varied in 5 base pairs and two amino acids. DDX3Y protein was predicted to be an unstable protein. In addition, the results also showed that DDX3 Y gene in male horse displayed a closer phylogenetic relationship to male mule and male foal; DDX3Y gene in male donkey displayed a closer phylogenetic relationship to male hinny. [ Conclusion] This study provided scientific basis for further exploring the function of DDX3 Y gene and the mecha- nism of reproductive regulation in male Equus ferus × asinus.

文摘The organic cocrystal strategy has provided a convenient and efficient platform for preparing organic photothermal materials.However,the rapidly directional preparation of cocrystals with desirable photothermal properties remains challenging due to a lack of suitable design ideas.Here,two new photothermal cocrystals,MTC and MFC,based on acceptor molecules(TCNQ and F4TCNQ)with different electron-withdrawing capacities were quickly prepared by the coprecipitation method,aiming to explore the effect of charge transfer(CT)interaction on photothermal properties.Compared with MTC,the stronger intermolecular CT interaction in MFC facilitates extending the absorption range(from the NIR-I to the NIR-II region)and enhancing the non-radiative transition process.Under the 808 nm laser irradiation,the photothermal conversion efficiency(PCE)of MFC is 54.6%,whereas MTC displays a mere 36.8%.The MFC cocrystal was further combined with a flexible polymer substrate(HPDMS)to prepare a flexible wearable heater(HPDMS@MFC),which exhibits excellent NIR-II photothermal performance.This work points out a research direction for the rapid assembly of efficient photothermal cocrystals and additionally provides an extensive application prospect for organic photothermal cocrystals in the field of wearable devices.

文摘The intrinsic neural timescale(INT)provides temporal windows in brain activity that process information of different durations,crucial for the integration and segregation of external inputs and ultimately shaping cognition and behavior.Recent research has uncovered a pronounced INT hierarchy along the adult hippocampus's longaxis.Yet,the development of INT organization within the hippocampus—particularly the pattern of its hierarchical structure and its impact on cognitive development—has not been thoroughly investigated in youth.Here,we discovered that the INT distribution in youth presents a distinct hierarchical structure along both posterioranterior and proximal-distal axes of the hippocampus.Strikingly,this hierarchical structure correlates signifi-cantly with the first principal gradient of the hippocampal-cortical functional connectome and the thickness of hippocampal grey matter.Furthermore,we observed notable changes in the hippocampal INT landscape during youth,characterized by a general narrowing of timescales,alongside dedifferentiation along the hippocampal organizational axes.These maturational changes significantly link to improvements in inhibitory control and working memory performance.Collectively,our findings reveal the developmental patterns of temporal integration and segregation hierarchies within hippocampus,and highlights the profound significance of INT as a neural underpinning that orchestrates cognitive growth.

文摘Heterogeneous molecular catalysts,such as metal phthalocyanines,are efficient electrocatalysts for CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR).However,the rational design and synthesis of a molecular catalyst-based heterostructure for CO_(2)RR remains challenging.Herein,we developed a crystalline bimetallic phthalocyanine heterostructure electrocatalyst(CoPc/FePc HS),which achieved an excellent CO_(2)-to-CO conversion efficiency(99%)and outstanding long-term stability after 10 h of electrocatalysis.Density functional theory calculations revealed that the enhancement of CO_(2)RR performance could be attributed to the distinct electron transfer pattern between FePc and CoPc.The heterostructural engineering in molecular catalysts would inspire a unique approach for improving CO_(2)RR performance.

文摘Brassinosteroids(BRs)are plant-specific steroid hormones which regulate plant growth,development,and adaptation.Transcriptional regulation plays key roles in plant hormone signaling.A mediator can serve as a bridge between gene-specific transcription factors and the RNA polymerase machinery,functioning as an essential component in regulating the transcriptional process.However,whether a mediator is involved in BR signaling is unknown.Here,we discovered that Oryza sativa mediator subunit 25(Os MED25)is an important regulator of rice BR signaling.Phenotypic analyses showed that the Os MED25-RNAi and osmed25 mutant presented erect leaves,as observed in BR-deficient mutants.In addition,the Os MED25-RNAi and osmed25 mutant exhibited decreased BR sensitivity.Genetic analysis indicated that Os MED25-RNAi could suppress the enhanced BR signaling phenotype of Osbzr1-D.Further biochemical analysis showed that Os MED25 interacts with Os BZR1 in vivo,and Os MED25 is enriched on the promoter of Os BZR1 target genes.RNA sequencing analysis indicated that Os MED25 affects the expression of approximately 45%of Os BZR1-regulated genes and mainly functions as a corepressor of Os BZR1.Together,these findings revealed that Os MED25 regulates rice BR signaling by interacting with Os BZR1 and modulating the expression of Os BZR1 target genes,thus expanding our understanding of the roles of mediators in plant hormone signaling.

文摘This paper presents a multi-stimuli responsive cocrystal system with luminescent properties that can be dynamically controlled and demonstrates the responsive mechanism of cocrystals under multiple stimuli(acid/alkali vapor, force, and heat). Detailed spectroscopic, computational, and structural studies exhibit that obvious charge transfer interactions occur in loosely mixed-stacking cocrystals. Such interactions can be weakened by acid vapor fuming due to the strong electron-withdrawing effect of acid cations and strengthened under mechanical grinding. Furthermore,the response time of the cocrystal is in the order of seconds,which is much superior to those of most previously reported stimuli-responsive cocrystals. Accordingly, a high-sensitive fluorescence switching is demonstrated under multiple stimuli, providing an effective strategy to develop smart materials.

文摘Near-infrared organic phototransistors have wide application prospects in many fields.The active materials with the high mobility and near-infrared response are critical to building high-performance near-infrared organic phototransistors,which are scarce at present.Herein,a new charge transfer cocrystal using 5,7-dihydroindolo[2,3-b]carbazole(5,7-ICZ)as the donor and 2,2’-(benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b’]dithiophene-4,8-diylidene)dimalononitrile(DTTCNQ)as the acceptor is properly designed and prepared in a stoichiometric ratio(D:A=1:1),which not only displays a high electron mobility of 0.15 cm^(2)V^(-1)s^(-1) and very low dark current,but also can serve as the active layer materials in the region of near-infrared detection due to the narrowed band gap and good charge transport properties.A high photosensitivity of 1.8×10^(4),the ultrahigh photoresponsivity of 2,923 A W-1and the high detectivity of 4.26×10^(11)Jones of the organic near-infrared phototransistors are obtained.

文摘Objectives This study aimed to investigate the therapeutic effects of Suan Zao Ren(Semen Ziziphi Spinosae,SZS)extract on insomnia induced by p-chlorophenylalanine(PCPA)in rats and its influence on the thioredoxin-interacting protein(TXNIP)/nucleotide-binding domain Leucine-rich repeat and pyrin domain-containing receptor 3(NLRP3)inflammasome pathway,and to preliminarily explore themechanism by which SZS extract improves insomnia.Methods Fifty male Sprague–Dawley(SD)rats were used,with 8 rats in the blank group and 42 rats in the modeling group.The modeling group was induced by intraperitoneal injection of PCPA at a dose of 500mg·kg^(-1) for six consecutive days,with daily cage exchange.After 6 days,40 successfully modeled rats were randomly divided into five groups:themodel group(equal volume of distilled water),the positive group(0.75 mg·kg^(-1)),and low-,medium-,and high-dose SZS extract groups(1.5,3,and 6 g·kg^(-1),respectively),with 8 rats in each group.Treatments were administered for seven consecutive days.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to measure levels of 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)and gamma-aminobutyric acid(GABA)in the rat cerebral cortex.The thiobarbituric acid(TBA)method was used to determine malondialdehyde(MDA)levels,and the hydroxylamine method was used to determine superoxide dismutase(SOD)levels.The 2,2′-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid)method was used to measure total antioxidant capacity(TAOC)in the cerebral cortex.Pathological changes in the cerebral cortex were observed,and Western blot was used to detect the protein expressions of TXNIP,NLRP3,apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a Caspase activation and recruitment domain(CARD),and cysteine–aspartate-specific protease 1(Caspase-1)in the cerebral cortex.Results Compared with the blank group,the model group showed a significantly prolonged sleep latency(p<0.001)and a significantly shortened sleep duration(p<0.001).There were no changes in serum MDA and SOD levels.MDA levels in the cerebral cortex were significantly increased(p<0.001),while SOD and TAOC levels were significantly decreased(p<0.001).The 5-HT level was increased(p<0.05),and the GABA level was significantly decreased(p<0.001).SZS extract improved these conditions to varying degrees.Light microscopy showed no significant changes in cortical neurons but transmission electron microscopy revealed intact mitochondrial structures in the blank group,while the model group showed swollen and unclear mitochondria with reduced organelles.After 7 days of treatment,these conditions improved in the SZS extract groups.Compared with the blank group,the expressions of the four proteins in the model group were increased,and the expressions of these proteins were decreased in the SZS extract groups compared with the model group.Conclusion SZS extract may exert an antioxidant effect to treat insomnia by downregulating the expression of TXNIP/NLRP3 proteins and regulating oxidative stress levels in the cerebral cortex.

文摘Current tribocorrosion research of metallic materials and their surface protective coatings mainly focuses on their short-term properties,with test time of 0.5‒2.0 h and a sliding distance 50‒500 m,which may significantly deviate from the practical long-term service condition and thus cause a catastrophe of marine equipments.In this study,three carbon-based multilayer coatings(Ti/DLC,TiC_(x)/DLC,and Ti‒TiC_(x)/DLC)were deposited on S32750 substrates,and both short-term and long-term tribocorrosion behaviors were investigated.The experimental results indicate that the coatings substantially improve the tribocorrosion resistance of the S32750 stainless steel.During the short-term tribocorrosion test,TiC_(x)/DLC exhibited the best tribocorrosion resistance owing to its high hardness.During the long-term tribocorrosion test,however,Ti‒TiC_(x)/DLC coating indicated the best anti-tribocorrosion performance owing to its excellent fracture toughness together with high hardness.Moreover,under 5 N,Ti‒TiC_(x)/DLC can withstand a long-term test of more than 24 h.Additionally,under a higher load of 20 N,the Ti‒TiC_(x)/DLC with a corresponding sliding distance of approximately 1,728 m maintained a low friction coefficient of approximately 0.06.However,the coating was completely worn out;this is attributable to the formation of tribocorrosion products consisting of graphitized carbon and nanocrystalline Fe_(x)O_(y).
