文章以Topigs三系配套种猪群体测定性能的测定数据为基础,对3个品系(A、B、E系)的繁殖性能和生产性能进行GLM(一般线型模型)方差分析,以最小二乘均数为性能值,比较年份、胎次、月份(季节)对产仔数、断奶数、初生窝重、断奶窝重、日增重... 文章以Topigs三系配套种猪群体测定性能的测定数据为基础,对3个品系(A、B、E系)的繁殖性能和生产性能进行GLM(一般线型模型)方差分析,以最小二乘均数为性能值,比较年份、胎次、月份(季节)对产仔数、断奶数、初生窝重、断奶窝重、日增重、料重比和背膘厚的变化情况,以及3个品系在上述性状上的表现。结果显示,年份、季节、胎次均存在极大的差异,在年份上表现为与选育时间有关,在季节上表现为与夏季有关,在胎次上表现为产仔数差异不明显、断奶仔猪数逐胎下降。3个品系的结果显示,E系作为第二父本具有一定的优势,但作为第一父本的B系没有明显的优势。 展开更多

Partial inhibition of CDK4 gene expression leads to the extension of G1 phase of V79-8 cells

V79-8 is an abnormal cell line which does not have detectable G1 and G2 phases in its cell cycle.This cell line is derived from V79 cell line which has G1 phase but lacks G2 phase. By using an anti-sense approach, CDK4 gene expression was partially inhibited to find whether CDK4 might contribute to the lack of G1 phase in V79-8 cells. Anti-CDK4 anti-sense plasmid was constructed and used to transfect V79-8 cells. Clones of transfected cells (V79-8-asCDK4) were examined, in comparison with V79-8 cells, to determine its growth curve, cell doubling-time (GT), the level of CDK4 gene expression and the levels of expression of some other growth related genes. V79-8-asCDK4 cells showed a slower growth rate with a doubling time 2.5-h longer than that of V79-8 cells. A flow cytometry (FCM) analysis demonstrated that the 2.5 h increase of the doubling time of V79-8-asCDK4 cells was mainly due to the appearance of G1 phase because its G2+M phase was not significantly different from that of V79-8 cells. The accuracy of subgrade quality evaluation is important for road safety assessment.Since there is little research work devoted to testing lightweight cellular concrete(LCC)by an ultrasound-based method,the quantitative relation between ultrasonic testing results and the quality of LCC subgrade is not well understood.In this paper,the quality of LCC subgrade was evaluated with respect to compressive strength and crack discrimination.The relation between ultrasonic testing results and LCC quality was explored through indoor tests.Based on the quantitative relation between ultrasonic pulse velocity and compressive strength of LCC,a fitting formula was established.Moreover,after the LCC became cracked,the ultrasonic pulse velocity and ultrasonic pulse amplitude decreased.After determining the lower limiting values of the ultrasonic pulse velocity and ultrasonic pulse amplitude through the statistical data,it could be calculated whether there were cracks in LCC subgrade.The ultrasonic testing results showed that the compressive strength of the LCC subgrade was suitable for purpose and there was no crack in the subgrade.Then core samples were taken from the subgrade.Comparisons between ultrasonic testing results of subgrade and test results of core samples demonstrated a good agreement. 展开更多

To unravel the pharmacological actions of garlic, a simple thiocompound, zajoene, was purified from the fresh cloves. Three tumor cell lines were subjected to treatment with zajoene at different concentrations in vitro and the morphological changes, DNA content of the cells and chromosome DNA fragmentation were observed by light microscopy, flow cytometry and agarose gel electrophoresis respectively. It was found that zajoene induced cell death by apoptosis in human HL60 promyelocytic leukemia cells, MGc803 gastric mucoid adenocarcinoma cells and Molt4 T lymphocyte leukemia cells. Western blot assay showed that z ajoene inhibited protooncogene bcl2 expression in the three different kinds of tumor cells, suggesting that zajoene may be a potential agent for tumor chemotherapy. 展开更多
