In this paper, since the Avalanche Photo Diode(APD)for Light-to-Voltage LTV conversion uses a high voltage in the operating range unlike other Photo Diodes(PD),the quenching resistor must be connected in series to prevent overcurrent when using the Transimpedance Amplifier(TIA).In such a case, quenching resistance may affect the transfer function of the TIA circuit, resulting in serious stability. Therefore,in this paper,by analyzing the effect of APD quenching resistance on the voltage and current loop transfer function of TIA,we proposed a loop analysis and a method for determining the quenching resistance value to improve stability.A TIA circuit with quenching resistance was designed by the proposed method and its operational stability was verified through simulation and chip fabrication. 展开更多

The key for rice plant survival under Na Cl salt stress is maintaining a high K^+/Na^+ ratio in its cells. Selection for salt tolerance rice genotypes based on phenotypic performance alone will delay in progress in breeding. Use of molecular markers in tandem with physiological studies will help in better identification of salt tolerant rice accessions. Eight rice accessions along with the check Dongjin were screened using 1/2 Yoshida solution with 50 mmol/L NaCl at the seedling stage. The accessions IT001158, IT246674, IT260533 and IT291341 were classified as salt tolerant based on their K^+/Na^+ ratios. Seventeen SSR markers reported to be associated with K^+/Na^+ ratio were used to screen the accessions. Five SSR markers(RM8053, RM345, RM318, RM253 and RM7075) could differentiate accessions classified based on their K^+/Na^+ ratios. Banding pattern of the accessions was scored compared to the banding pattern of Dongjin. The study differentiated accessions based on their association of K^+/Na^+ ratio with molecular markers which are very reliable. These markers can play a significant role in screening large set of rice germplasms for salt tolerance and also help in identification of high-yielding varieties with better salt tolerance. The salt tolerant accessions can be taken forward into developing better varieties by conventional breeding and exploring genes for salt tolerance. 展开更多

The hepatic endoplasmic reticulum(ER)-anchored cytochromes P450(P450s)are mixedfunction oxidases engaged in the biotransformation of physiologically relevant endobiotics as well as of myriad xenobiotics of therapeutic and environmental relevance.P450 ER-content and hence function is regulated by their coordinated hemoprotein syntheses and proteolytic turnover.Such P450 proteolytic turnover occurs through a process known as ER-associated degradation(ERAD)that involves ubiquitindependent proteasomal degradation(UPD)and/or autophagic-lysosomal degradation(ALD).Herein,on the basis of available literature reports and our own recent findings of in vitro as well as in vivo experimental studies,we discuss the therapeutic and pathophysiological implications of altered P450 ERAD and its plausible clinical relevance. We specifically(i)describe the P450 ERAD-machinery and how it may be repurposed for the generation of antigenic P450 peptides involved in P450 autoantibodypathogenesis in drug-induced acute hypersensitivity reactions and liver injury,or viral hepatitis;(ⅱ)discuss the relevance of accelerated or disrupted P450-ERAD to the pharmacological and/or toxicological effects of clinically relevant P450 drug substrates;and(ⅲ)detail the pathophysiological consequences of disrupted P450 ERAD,contributing to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)/non-alcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH)under certain synergistic cellular conditions. 展开更多
