Emerging research suggests a potential association of progression of Alzheimer's disease(AD)with alterations in synaptic currents and mitochondrial dynamics.However,the specific associations between these patholog...Emerging research suggests a potential association of progression of Alzheimer's disease(AD)with alterations in synaptic currents and mitochondrial dynamics.However,the specific associations between these pathological changes remain unclear.In this study,we utilized Aβ42-induced AD rats and primary neural cells as in vivo and in vitro models.The investigations included behavioural tests,brain magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS/MS)analysis,Nissl staining,thioflavin-S staining,enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,Golgi-Cox staining,transmission electron microscopy(TEM),immunofluorescence staining,proteomics,adenosine triphosphate(ATP)detection,mitochondrial membrane potential(MMP)and reactive oxygen species(ROS)assessment,mitochondrial morphology analysis,electrophysiological studies,Western blotting,and molecular docking.The results revealed changes in synaptic currents,mitophagy,and mitochondrial dynamics in the AD models.Remarkably,intervention with Dengzhan Shengmai(DZSM)capsules emerged as a pivotal element in this investigation.Aβ42-induced synaptic dysfunction was significantly mitigated by DZSM intervention,which notably amplified the frequency and amplitude of synaptic transmission.The cognitive impairment observed in AD rats was ameliorated and accompanied by robust protection against structural damage in key brain regions,including the hippocampal CA3,primary cingular cortex,prelimbic system,and dysgranular insular cortex.DZSM intervention led to increased IDE levels,augmented long-term potential(LTP)amplitude,and enhanced dendritic spine density and length.Moreover,DZSM intervention led to favourable changes in mitochondrial parameters,including ROS expression,MMP and ATP contents,and mitochondrial morphology.In conclusion,our findings delved into the realm of altered synaptic currents,mitophagy,and mitochondrial dynamics in AD,concurrently highlighting the therapeutic potential of DZSM intervention.展开更多

In the induction heating of airport pavement to remove snow and ice,soft magnetic geopolymer composite(SMGC)can be used to gather the dissipated electromagnetic energy,thus enhancing the energy utilization efficiency....In the induction heating of airport pavement to remove snow and ice,soft magnetic geopolymer composite(SMGC)can be used to gather the dissipated electromagnetic energy,thus enhancing the energy utilization efficiency.The aim of this work is to analyze the influence mechanism of iron powder content on the electromagnetic and mechanical performance of SMGC,so as to provide theoretical guidance for the design of soft magnetic layer within airport pavement structure.The results show that the increase of iron powder content reduces the resistance and magnetoresistance of SMGC by decreasing the content of non-magnetic phases between iron powder.However,the reduction of iron powder spacing also provides a shorter transmission path for the inter-particle eddy currents in the SMGC specimen,which enhances the exchange coupling between iron powder,thus increasing the electromagnetic loss.Therefore,the compatibility between magnetic permeability and electromagnetic loss should be considered comprehensively in the mix design of SMGC.In addition,although iron powder can enhance the mechanical properties of SMGC by improving the density of geopolymer matrix,the excessive amount of iron powder can lead to a weak interfacial transition zone between geopolymer matrix and iron powder.According to the induction heating results,optimized SMGC can improve the energy transfer efficiency of induction heating by 24.03%.展开更多

Composite Li metal anodes based on three-dimensional(3D) porous frameworks have been considered as an effective material for achieving stable Li metal batteries with high energy density.However,uneven Li deposition be...Composite Li metal anodes based on three-dimensional(3D) porous frameworks have been considered as an effective material for achieving stable Li metal batteries with high energy density.However,uneven Li deposition behavior still occurs at the top of 3D frameworks owing to the local accumulation of Li ions.To promote uniform Li deposition without top dendrite growth,herein,a layered multifunctional framework based on oxidation-treated polyacrylonitrile(OPAN) and metal-organic framework(MOF) derivatives was proposed for rationally regulating the distribution of Li ions flux,nucleation sites,and electrical conductivity.Profiting from these merits,the OPAN/carbon nano fiber-MOF(CMOF) composite framework demonstrated a reversible Li plating/stripping behavior for 500 cycles with a stable Coulombic efficiency of around 99.0% at the current density of 2 mA/cm~2.Besides,such a Li composite anode exhibited a superior cycle lifespan of over 1300 h under a low polarized voltage of 18 mV in symmetrical cells.When the Li composite anode was paired with LiFePO_(4)(LFP) cathode,the obtained full cell exhibited a stable cycling over 500 cycles.Moreover,the COMSOL Multiphysics simulation was conducted to reveal the effects on homogeneous Li ions distribution derived from the above-mentioned OPAN/CMOF framework and electrical insulation/conduction design.These electrochemical and simulated results shed light on the difficulties of designing stable and safe Li metal anode via optimizing the 3D frameworks.展开更多
Adhesion of oil at rock surface plays an important role in the liberation of oil from micro-/nano-pores,especially for heavy oil that has extremely high viscosity.Although molecular dynamics simulation is widely used ...Adhesion of oil at rock surface plays an important role in the liberation of oil from micro-/nano-pores,especially for heavy oil that has extremely high viscosity.Although molecular dynamics simulation is widely used to study the interfacial interaction for some specific oil-water-rock systems,experimental measurements provide more realistic and reliable evidence.In this work,we propose a dynamic wettability characterization method to indirectly measure resistant forces at oil-surfactant-rock interfaces,including frictional force,wettability hysteresis force,and viscous force,which are parallel with the oil-solid interface.The adhesive force,which is normal to the oil-solid interface is calculated through measurement of work of adhesion.The results show that work of adhesion instead of contact angle can better describe the adhesion of oil at solid surface.The effect of surfactant concentration on work of adhesion is different for water-wet and oil-wet surfaces.Moreover,average viscous forces are calculated through force analysis on oil drops moving along solid surface in different surfactant environments.It is found that viscous force has a magnitude comparable to the frictional force during the movement,while the wettability hysteresis force is negligible.On the other hand,the adhesive force calculated from the work of adhesion is also comparable to the viscous force.Therefore,both the resistant forces parallel with and normal to the oil-solid interface should be minimized for the liberation of oil from rock surface.This work proposes a simple method to evaluate the wetting capability of different surfactants and measure the adhesive force between heavy oil and rock surfaces indirectly,which provides insight into the adhesion of heavy oil at rock surface and would be valuable for the development of surfactant-based oil recovery methods.展开更多

METHODS: The expressions of IL-12 and ...AIM: To explore the effect of intratumoral expressions of interleukin-12 (IL-12) and interleukin-18 (IL-18) on clinical features, angiogenesis and prognosis of gastric carcinoma. METHODS: The expressions of IL-12 and IL-18 from 50 samples of gastric cancer tissue were analyzed by immunohistochemistry, and microvessel density (MVD) was determined with microscopic imaging analysis system. RESULTS: The positive expression rates of IL-12 and IL-18 were 44% (22/50) and 26% (13/50), respectively. IL-12 was significantly associated with pathologic differentiation, depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis, and TNM stage, and IL-18 was closely related to distant metastasis. Intratumoral IL-12 and IL-18 expressions were not statistically related to MVD scoring. IL-12-positive patients survived significantly longer than those with IL-12-negative tumors, but there was no significant difference between IL-18-positive patients and IL-18-negative ones. The multivariate analysis with Cox proportional hazard model revealed IL-12, MVD and T stage were independent prognostic factors. CONCLUSION: The positive expressions of IL-12 and IL-18 can play an important role in progression and metastasis of gastric cancer, and IL-12 might be an independent factor of poor prognosis in gastric carcinoma.展开更多

BACKGROUND Although previous studies have confirmed the feasibility of magnetic compression anastomosis(MCA),there is still a risk of long-term anastomotic stenosis.For traditional MCA devices,a large device is associ...BACKGROUND Although previous studies have confirmed the feasibility of magnetic compression anastomosis(MCA),there is still a risk of long-term anastomotic stenosis.For traditional MCA devices,a large device is associated with great pressure,and eventually increased leakage.AIM To develop a novel MCA device to simultaneously meet the requirements of pressure and size.METHODS Traditional nummular MCA devices of all possible sizes were used to conduct ileac anastomosis in rats.The mean(±SD)circumference of the ileum was 13.34±0.12 mm.Based on short-and long-term follow-up results,we determined the appropriate pressure range and minimum size.Thereafter,we introduced a novel“fedora-type”MCA device,which entailed the use of a nummular magnet with a larger sheet metal.RESULTS With traditional MCA devices,the anastomoses experienced stenosis and even closure during the long-term follow-up when the anastomat was smaller thanΦ5 mm.However,the risk of leakage increased when it was larger thanΦ4 mm.On comparison of the different designs,it was found that the“fedora-type”MCA device should be composed of aΦ4-mm nummular magnet with aΦ6-mm sheet metal.CONCLUSION The diameter of the MCA device should be greater than 120%of the enteric diameter.The novel“fedora-type”MCA device controls the pressure and optimizes the size.展开更多
The nonrandom three-dimensional organization of chromatin plays an important role in the regulation of gene expression.However,it remains unclear whether this organization is conserved and whether it is involved in re...The nonrandom three-dimensional organization of chromatin plays an important role in the regulation of gene expression.However,it remains unclear whether this organization is conserved and whether it is involved in regulating gene expression during speciation after whole-genome duplication(WGD)in plants.In this study,high-resolution interaction maps were generated using high-throughput chromatin conformation capture(Hi-C)techniques for two poplar species,Populus euphratica and Populus alba var.pyramidalis,which diverged~14 Mya after a common WGD.We examined the similarities and differences in the hierarchical chromatin organization between the two species,including A/B compartment regions and topologically associating domains(TADs),as well as in their DNA methylation and gene expression patterns.We found that chromatin status was strongly associated with epigenetic modifications and gene transcriptional activity,yet the conservation of hierarchical chromatin organization across the two species was low.The divergence of gene expression between WGD-derived paralogs was associated with the strength of chromatin interactions,and colocalized paralogs exhibited strong similarities in epigenetic modifications and expression levels.Thus,the spatial localization of duplicated genes is highly correlated with biased expression during the diploidization process.This study provides new insights into the evolution of chromatin organization and transcriptional regulation during the speciation process of poplars after WGD.展开更多
Complement component(3b/4b)receptor 1(CR1)expression is positively related to the abundance of phosphorylated microtubule-associated protein tau(tau),and CR1 expression is associated with susceptibility to Alzheimer’...Complement component(3b/4b)receptor 1(CR1)expression is positively related to the abundance of phosphorylated microtubule-associated protein tau(tau),and CR1 expression is associated with susceptibility to Alzheimer’s disease.However,the exact role of CR1 in tau protein-associated neurodegenerative diseases is unknown.In this study,we show that the mouse Cr1-related protein Y(Crry)gene,Crry,is localized to microglia.We also found that Crry protein expression in the hippocampus and cortex was significantly elevated in P301S mice(a mouse model widely used for investigating tau pathology)compared with that in wild-type mice.Tau protein phosphorylation(at serine 202,threonine 205,threonine 231,and serine 262)and expression of the major tau kinases glycogen synthase kinase-3 beta and cyclin-dependent-like kinase 5 were greater in P301S mice than in wild-type mice.Crry silencing by lentivirus-transfected short hairpin RNA led to greatly reduced tau phosphorylation and glycogen synthase kinase-3 beta and cyclin-dependent-like kinase 5 activity.Crry silencing reduced neuronal apoptosis and rescued cognitive impairment of P301S mice.Crry silencing also reduced the levels of the neuroinflammatory factors interleukin-1 beta,tumor necrosis factor alpha,and interleukin-6 and the complement components complement 3 and complement component 3b.Our results suggest that Crry silencing in the P301S mouse model reduces tau protein phosphorylation by reducing the levels of neuroinflammation and complement components,thereby improving cognitive function.展开更多

In com...We present the thorium distribution on the lunar surface derived from observations by the Chang’E-2 gamma-ray spectrometer(CE-2 GRS). This new map shows a similar thorium distribution to previous observations. In combination with this new thorium map and impact cratering model, we investigate the origination of thorium on the Moon’s highlands, which was previously thought to be contributed from Imbrium ejecta. We found that the Imbrium ejecta has a small contribution(~20%–30%) to the thorium on the lunar highlands but most thorium is likely to be indigenous before the deposition of the Imbrium ejecta. This new thorium map also confirms that the eastern highlands have a relatively higher thorium concentration than the western highlands. We propose that the thin crust and large basins on the eastern highlands are responsible for this difference in thorium.展开更多

The HXI is one of the three payloads onboard the advanced space-based solar observatory(ASO-S), which is scheduled to be launched in early 2022 as the first Chinese solar satellite. LaBr3 scintillators and photomultiplier tubes with a super bialkali cathode are used to achieve an energy resolution better than 20% at 30 keV.Further, a new multi-channel charge-sensitive readout application-specific integrated circuit guarantees high-frequency data acquisition with low power consumption. This paper presents a detailed design of the spectrometer for the engineering model of the HXI and discusses its noise and linearity performance.展开更多

Different ...The space environment background of various particle fluxes of the Hard X-ray Imager(HXI), one of the payloads of the Advanced Space-based Solar Observatory(ASO-S) spacecraft, is investigated and presented. Different approaches are used to obtain the input information on various space environment particles(protons, alpha particles, electrons, positrons, neutrons, and photons). Some special regions(SAA and radiation belt) are also taken into account. The findings indicate that electrons are the primary background source in the radiation belt. Due to the large background flux generated by electrons, HXI cannot effectively observe solar flares in the radiation belt.Outside the radiation belt, primary protons and albedo photons are the main sources of background at low and high magnetic latitudes respectively. The statistical analysis of the flare and background spectra shows that the errors of the flare energy spectrum observation are mainly concentrated in the high energy band, and the detector still has a certain spectrum observation capability for flares of C-class and below in the low energy band of the non-radiation belt. The imaging observation of flares of C-class and below is significantly affected by the accuracy of background subtraction. The energy band with the best signal-to-noise ratio is from 10 to 50 ke V, which can be used to monitor the formation and class of flares.展开更多

BACKGROUND Cuproptosis has recently been considered a novel form of programmed cell death.To date,long-chain non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)crucial to the regulation of this process remain unelucidated.AIM To identify lncRNA...BACKGROUND Cuproptosis has recently been considered a novel form of programmed cell death.To date,long-chain non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)crucial to the regulation of this process remain unelucidated.AIM To identify lncRNAs linked to cuproptosis in order to estimate patients'prognoses for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).METHODS Using RNA sequence data from The Cancer Genome Atlas Live Hepatocellular Carcinoma(TCGA-LIHC),a co-expression network of cuproptosis-related genes and lncRNAs was constructed.For HCC prognosis,we developed a cuproptosisrelated lncRNA signature(CupRLSig)using univariate Cox,lasso,and multivariate Cox regression analyses.Kaplan-Meier analysis was used to compare overall survival among high-and low-risk groups stratified by median CupRLSig risk score.Furthermore,comparisons of functional annotation,immune infiltration,somatic mutation,tumor mutation burden(TMB),and pharmacologic options were made between high-and low-risk groups.RESULTS Three hundred and forty-three patients with complete follow-up data were recruited in the analysis.Pearson correlation analysis identified 157 cuproptosis-related lncRNAs related to 14 cuproptosis genes.Next,we divided the TCGA-LIHC sample into a training set and a validation set.In univariate Cox regression analysis,27 LncRNAs with prognostic value were identified in the training set.After lasso regression,the multivariate Cox regression model determined the identified risk equation as follows:Risk score=(0.2659×PICSAR expression)+(0.4374×FOXD2-AS1 expression)+(-0.3467×AP001065.1 expression).The CupRLSig high-risk group was associated with poor overall survival(hazard ratio=1.162,95%CI=1.063-1.270;P<0.001)after the patients were divided into two groups depending upon their median risk score.Model accuracy was further supported by receiver operating characteristic and principal component analysis as well as the validation set.The area under the curve of 0.741 was found to be a better predictor of HCC prognosis as compared to other clinicopathological variables.Mutation analysis revealed that high-risk combinations with high TMB carried worse prognoses(median survival of 30 mo vs 102 mo of low-risk combinations with low TMB group).The low-risk group had more activated natural killer cells(NK cells,P=0.032 by Wilcoxon rank sum test)and fewer regulatory T cells(Tregs,P=0.021)infiltration than the high-risk group.This finding could explain why the low-risk group has a better prognosis.Interestingly,when checkpoint gene expression(CD276,CTLA-4,and PDCD-1)and tumor immune dysfunction and rejection(TIDE)scores are considered,highrisk patients may respond better to immunotherapy.Finally,most drugs commonly used in preclinical and clinical systemic therapy for HCC,such as 5-fluorouracil,gemcitabine,paclitaxel,imatinib,sunitinib,rapamycin,and XL-184(cabozantinib),were found to be more efficacious in the low-risk group;erlotinib,an exception,was more efficacious in the high-risk group.CONCLUSION The lncRNA signature,CupRLSig,constructed in this study is valuable in prognostic estimation of HCC.Importantly,CupRLSig also predicts the level of immune infiltration and potential efficacy of tumor immunotherapy.展开更多

The current paper reports the net protein(NP) and metabolizable protein(MP) requirements of Dorper crossbred ram lambs from 20 to 35 kg BW.Methods: Thirty-five Dorper × thin-tailed Han crossbred lambs weaned at approximately 50 d of age(20.3 ± 2.15 kg of BW) were used. Seven lambs of 25 kg BW were slaughtered as the baseline animals at the start of the trial. An intermediate group of seven randomly selected lambs fed ad libitum was slaughtered at 28.6 kg BW. The remaining 21 lambs were randomly divided into three levels of dry matter intake: ad libitum or 70% or 40% of ad libitum intake. Those lambs were slaughtered when the lambs fed ad libitum reached 35 kg BW. Total body N and N retention were measured.Results: The daily NP and MP requirements for maintenance were 1.89 and 4.52 g/kg metabolic shrunk BW(SBW0.75).The partial efficiency of MP utilization for maintenance was 0.42. The NP requirement for growth ranged from 12.1 to 43.5 g/d, for the lambs gaining 100 to 350 g/d, and the partial efficiency of MP utilization for growth was 0.86.Conclusions: The NP and MP requirements for the maintenance and growth of Dorper crossbred male lambs were lower than the recommendations of American and British nutritional systems.展开更多
Cellulose nanocrystal(CNC)prepared by hydrolysis of cotton linters with sulfuric acid was used to react with chloroauric acid to manufacture a gold nanoparticle/CNC composite.The composite was then graft-copolymerized...Cellulose nanocrystal(CNC)prepared by hydrolysis of cotton linters with sulfuric acid was used to react with chloroauric acid to manufacture a gold nanoparticle/CNC composite.The composite was then graft-copolymerized with N-isopropylacrylamide to obtain a photo-thermal ultrafine gold nanoparticles/CNC-based hydrogel.The hydrogel was studied by performing scanning electron microscopy,and it was found that the prepared hydrogel had a network structure.The temperature of the hydrogel increased from 25℃to 39℃and its volume decreased by 30%when it was exposed to visible light(400~750 nm)for 1 h.The experiment results indicated that the prepared photo-thermal CNC-based hydrogel has thermal responsiveness and photo-thermal properties.展开更多

文摘Emerging research suggests a potential association of progression of Alzheimer's disease(AD)with alterations in synaptic currents and mitochondrial dynamics.However,the specific associations between these pathological changes remain unclear.In this study,we utilized Aβ42-induced AD rats and primary neural cells as in vivo and in vitro models.The investigations included behavioural tests,brain magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS/MS)analysis,Nissl staining,thioflavin-S staining,enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,Golgi-Cox staining,transmission electron microscopy(TEM),immunofluorescence staining,proteomics,adenosine triphosphate(ATP)detection,mitochondrial membrane potential(MMP)and reactive oxygen species(ROS)assessment,mitochondrial morphology analysis,electrophysiological studies,Western blotting,and molecular docking.The results revealed changes in synaptic currents,mitophagy,and mitochondrial dynamics in the AD models.Remarkably,intervention with Dengzhan Shengmai(DZSM)capsules emerged as a pivotal element in this investigation.Aβ42-induced synaptic dysfunction was significantly mitigated by DZSM intervention,which notably amplified the frequency and amplitude of synaptic transmission.The cognitive impairment observed in AD rats was ameliorated and accompanied by robust protection against structural damage in key brain regions,including the hippocampal CA3,primary cingular cortex,prelimbic system,and dysgranular insular cortex.DZSM intervention led to increased IDE levels,augmented long-term potential(LTP)amplitude,and enhanced dendritic spine density and length.Moreover,DZSM intervention led to favourable changes in mitochondrial parameters,including ROS expression,MMP and ATP contents,and mitochondrial morphology.In conclusion,our findings delved into the realm of altered synaptic currents,mitophagy,and mitochondrial dynamics in AD,concurrently highlighting the therapeutic potential of DZSM intervention.
文摘Background:Interleukin 13 receptor subunit alpha 2(IL13RA2)plays an essential role in the progression of many cancers.However,the role of IL13RA2 in infantile haemangioma(IH)is still unknown.Materials and Methods:IL13RA2 expression in IH tissues was analyzed using western blot,qRT-PCR,and immunofluorescence.The role of IL13RA2 in haemangioma-derived endothelial cells(HemECs)was determined following knockdown or overexpression of IL13RA2 using CCK-8,colony formation,apoptosis,wound healing,tubule formation,Transwell,and western blot.Results:IL13RA2 expression was upregulated in IH tissues.IL13RA2 overexpression promoted proliferation,migration,and invasion of HemECs and induced glycolysis,which was confirmed with a glycolysis inhibitor.Specifically,IL13RA2 interacted withβ-catenin and activated the Wnt/β-catenin pathway in HemECs,which were involved in the above-mentioned effects of IL13RA2.Conclusions:These findings revealed that targeting IL13RA2 is a potential therapeutic approach for IH.

文摘In the induction heating of airport pavement to remove snow and ice,soft magnetic geopolymer composite(SMGC)can be used to gather the dissipated electromagnetic energy,thus enhancing the energy utilization efficiency.The aim of this work is to analyze the influence mechanism of iron powder content on the electromagnetic and mechanical performance of SMGC,so as to provide theoretical guidance for the design of soft magnetic layer within airport pavement structure.The results show that the increase of iron powder content reduces the resistance and magnetoresistance of SMGC by decreasing the content of non-magnetic phases between iron powder.However,the reduction of iron powder spacing also provides a shorter transmission path for the inter-particle eddy currents in the SMGC specimen,which enhances the exchange coupling between iron powder,thus increasing the electromagnetic loss.Therefore,the compatibility between magnetic permeability and electromagnetic loss should be considered comprehensively in the mix design of SMGC.In addition,although iron powder can enhance the mechanical properties of SMGC by improving the density of geopolymer matrix,the excessive amount of iron powder can lead to a weak interfacial transition zone between geopolymer matrix and iron powder.According to the induction heating results,optimized SMGC can improve the energy transfer efficiency of induction heating by 24.03%.

According to clinical data, the tumor volume was 62.4</span><span style="font-family:;" "=""> </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">± 29.5 mm, including 16 males and 15 females, aged (35.6</span><span style="font-family:;" "=""> </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">± 16.1) years old;17 cases on the left side and 14 cases on the right side. All patients underwent anatomical resection through the renal superficial approach, and underwent pheochromocytoma resection through the retroperitoneal approach. The operation time, blood loss, postoperative complications, retention time of drainage tube and postoperative follow-up were observed. </span><span style="font-family:;" "=""><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><b></b></span><b><b><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Results:</span></b><span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"></span></span></b></span><b> </b><span style="font-family:Verdana;">All the 31 operations were successful, and there were no obvious postoperative complications. The average operation time, blood loss, and drainage tube retention time were 71 min, 80 mL, and (1.2</span><span style="font-family:;" "=""> </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">± 0.6) days, respectively. Postoperative pathology was confirmed to be pheochromocytoma. 文摘Extensive land use will cause many environmental problems.It is an urgent task to improve land use efficiency and optimize land use patterns.In recent years,due to the flow decrease,the Guanzhong Basin in Shaanxi Province is confronted with the problem of insufficient water resources reserve.Based on the Coupled Ground-Water and Surface-Water Flow Model(GSFLOW),this paper evaluates the response of water resources in the basin to changes in land use patterns,optimizes the land use pattern,improves the ecological and economic benefits,and the efficiency of various spatial development,providing a reference for ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin.The research shows that the land use pattern in the Guanzhong Basin should be further optimized.Under the condition of considering ecological and economic development,the percentage change of the optimum area of farmland,forest,grassland,water area,and urban area compared with the current land use area ratio is+2.3,+2.4,-6.1,+0.2,and+1.6,respectively.The economic and ecological value of land increases by14.1%and 3.1%,respectively,and the number of water resources can increase by 2.5%.

文摘Composite Li metal anodes based on three-dimensional(3D) porous frameworks have been considered as an effective material for achieving stable Li metal batteries with high energy density.However,uneven Li deposition behavior still occurs at the top of 3D frameworks owing to the local accumulation of Li ions.To promote uniform Li deposition without top dendrite growth,herein,a layered multifunctional framework based on oxidation-treated polyacrylonitrile(OPAN) and metal-organic framework(MOF) derivatives was proposed for rationally regulating the distribution of Li ions flux,nucleation sites,and electrical conductivity.Profiting from these merits,the OPAN/carbon nano fiber-MOF(CMOF) composite framework demonstrated a reversible Li plating/stripping behavior for 500 cycles with a stable Coulombic efficiency of around 99.0% at the current density of 2 mA/cm~2.Besides,such a Li composite anode exhibited a superior cycle lifespan of over 1300 h under a low polarized voltage of 18 mV in symmetrical cells.When the Li composite anode was paired with LiFePO_(4)(LFP) cathode,the obtained full cell exhibited a stable cycling over 500 cycles.Moreover,the COMSOL Multiphysics simulation was conducted to reveal the effects on homogeneous Li ions distribution derived from the above-mentioned OPAN/CMOF framework and electrical insulation/conduction design.These electrochemical and simulated results shed light on the difficulties of designing stable and safe Li metal anode via optimizing the 3D frameworks.

文摘Adhesion of oil at rock surface plays an important role in the liberation of oil from micro-/nano-pores,especially for heavy oil that has extremely high viscosity.Although molecular dynamics simulation is widely used to study the interfacial interaction for some specific oil-water-rock systems,experimental measurements provide more realistic and reliable evidence.In this work,we propose a dynamic wettability characterization method to indirectly measure resistant forces at oil-surfactant-rock interfaces,including frictional force,wettability hysteresis force,and viscous force,which are parallel with the oil-solid interface.The adhesive force,which is normal to the oil-solid interface is calculated through measurement of work of adhesion.The results show that work of adhesion instead of contact angle can better describe the adhesion of oil at solid surface.The effect of surfactant concentration on work of adhesion is different for water-wet and oil-wet surfaces.Moreover,average viscous forces are calculated through force analysis on oil drops moving along solid surface in different surfactant environments.It is found that viscous force has a magnitude comparable to the frictional force during the movement,while the wettability hysteresis force is negligible.On the other hand,the adhesive force calculated from the work of adhesion is also comparable to the viscous force.Therefore,both the resistant forces parallel with and normal to the oil-solid interface should be minimized for the liberation of oil from rock surface.This work proposes a simple method to evaluate the wetting capability of different surfactants and measure the adhesive force between heavy oil and rock surfaces indirectly,which provides insight into the adhesion of heavy oil at rock surface and would be valuable for the development of surfactant-based oil recovery methods.
文摘AIM: To explore the effect of intratumoral expressions of interleukin-12 (IL-12) and interleukin-18 (IL-18) on clinical features, angiogenesis and prognosis of gastric carcinoma. METHODS: The expressions of IL-12 and IL-18 from 50 samples of gastric cancer tissue were analyzed by immunohistochemistry, and microvessel density (MVD) was determined with microscopic imaging analysis system. RESULTS: The positive expression rates of IL-12 and IL-18 were 44% (22/50) and 26% (13/50), respectively. IL-12 was significantly associated with pathologic differentiation, depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis, and TNM stage, and IL-18 was closely related to distant metastasis. Intratumoral IL-12 and IL-18 expressions were not statistically related to MVD scoring. IL-12-positive patients survived significantly longer than those with IL-12-negative tumors, but there was no significant difference between IL-18-positive patients and IL-18-negative ones. The multivariate analysis with Cox proportional hazard model revealed IL-12, MVD and T stage were independent prognostic factors. CONCLUSION: The positive expressions of IL-12 and IL-18 can play an important role in progression and metastasis of gastric cancer, and IL-12 might be an independent factor of poor prognosis in gastric carcinoma.

文摘Hard X-ray Imager(HXI)is one of the three scientific instruments onboard the Advanced Spacebased Solar Observatory(ASO-S)mission,which is proposed for the 25th solar maximum by the Chinese solar community.HXI is designed to investigate the non-thermal high-energy electrons accelerated in solar flares by providing images of solar flaring regions in the energy range from 30 keV to 200 keV.The imaging principle of HXI is based on spatially modulated Fourier synthesis and utilizes about 91 sets of bi-grid sub-collimators and corresponding LaBr3 detectors to obtain Fourier components with a spatial resolution of about 3 arcsec and a time resolution better than 0.5 s.An engineering prototype has been developed and tested to verify the feasibility of design.In this paper,we present background,instrument design and the development and test status of the prototype.
文摘BACKGROUND Although previous studies have confirmed the feasibility of magnetic compression anastomosis(MCA),there is still a risk of long-term anastomotic stenosis.For traditional MCA devices,a large device is associated with great pressure,and eventually increased leakage.AIM To develop a novel MCA device to simultaneously meet the requirements of pressure and size.METHODS Traditional nummular MCA devices of all possible sizes were used to conduct ileac anastomosis in rats.The mean(±SD)circumference of the ileum was 13.34±0.12 mm.Based on short-and long-term follow-up results,we determined the appropriate pressure range and minimum size.Thereafter,we introduced a novel“fedora-type”MCA device,which entailed the use of a nummular magnet with a larger sheet metal.RESULTS With traditional MCA devices,the anastomoses experienced stenosis and even closure during the long-term follow-up when the anastomat was smaller thanΦ5 mm.However,the risk of leakage increased when it was larger thanΦ4 mm.On comparison of the different designs,it was found that the“fedora-type”MCA device should be composed of aΦ4-mm nummular magnet with aΦ6-mm sheet metal.CONCLUSION The diameter of the MCA device should be greater than 120%of the enteric diameter.The novel“fedora-type”MCA device controls the pressure and optimizes the size.

文摘The nonrandom three-dimensional organization of chromatin plays an important role in the regulation of gene expression.However,it remains unclear whether this organization is conserved and whether it is involved in regulating gene expression during speciation after whole-genome duplication(WGD)in plants.In this study,high-resolution interaction maps were generated using high-throughput chromatin conformation capture(Hi-C)techniques for two poplar species,Populus euphratica and Populus alba var.pyramidalis,which diverged~14 Mya after a common WGD.We examined the similarities and differences in the hierarchical chromatin organization between the two species,including A/B compartment regions and topologically associating domains(TADs),as well as in their DNA methylation and gene expression patterns.We found that chromatin status was strongly associated with epigenetic modifications and gene transcriptional activity,yet the conservation of hierarchical chromatin organization across the two species was low.The divergence of gene expression between WGD-derived paralogs was associated with the strength of chromatin interactions,and colocalized paralogs exhibited strong similarities in epigenetic modifications and expression levels.Thus,the spatial localization of duplicated genes is highly correlated with biased expression during the diploidization process.This study provides new insights into the evolution of chromatin organization and transcriptional regulation during the speciation process of poplars after WGD.

文摘Complement component(3b/4b)receptor 1(CR1)expression is positively related to the abundance of phosphorylated microtubule-associated protein tau(tau),and CR1 expression is associated with susceptibility to Alzheimer’s disease.However,the exact role of CR1 in tau protein-associated neurodegenerative diseases is unknown.In this study,we show that the mouse Cr1-related protein Y(Crry)gene,Crry,is localized to microglia.We also found that Crry protein expression in the hippocampus and cortex was significantly elevated in P301S mice(a mouse model widely used for investigating tau pathology)compared with that in wild-type mice.Tau protein phosphorylation(at serine 202,threonine 205,threonine 231,and serine 262)and expression of the major tau kinases glycogen synthase kinase-3 beta and cyclin-dependent-like kinase 5 were greater in P301S mice than in wild-type mice.Crry silencing by lentivirus-transfected short hairpin RNA led to greatly reduced tau phosphorylation and glycogen synthase kinase-3 beta and cyclin-dependent-like kinase 5 activity.Crry silencing reduced neuronal apoptosis and rescued cognitive impairment of P301S mice.Crry silencing also reduced the levels of the neuroinflammatory factors interleukin-1 beta,tumor necrosis factor alpha,and interleukin-6 and the complement components complement 3 and complement component 3b.Our results suggest that Crry silencing in the P301S mouse model reduces tau protein phosphorylation by reducing the levels of neuroinflammation and complement components,thereby improving cognitive function.

文摘The DArk Matter Particle Explorer(DAMPE),one of the four space-based scientific missions within the framework of the Strategic Pioneer Program on Space Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,was successfully launched on 2015 Dec.17 from Jiuquan launch center.One of the most important scientific goals of DAMPE is to search for evidence of dark matter indirectly by measuring the spectrum of high energy cosmic-ray electrons.The neutron detector,one of the four sub-payloads of DAMPE,is designed to distinguish high energy electrons from hadron background by measuring the secondary neutrons produced in the shower.In this paper,a comprehensive introduction of the neutron detector is presented,including the design,calibration and performance.The analysis with simulated data and flight data indicates a powerful proton rejection capability of the neutron detector,which plays an essential role for TeV electron identification of DAMPE.

文摘We present the thorium distribution on the lunar surface derived from observations by the Chang’E-2 gamma-ray spectrometer(CE-2 GRS). This new map shows a similar thorium distribution to previous observations. In combination with this new thorium map and impact cratering model, we investigate the origination of thorium on the Moon’s highlands, which was previously thought to be contributed from Imbrium ejecta. We found that the Imbrium ejecta has a small contribution(~20%–30%) to the thorium on the lunar highlands but most thorium is likely to be indigenous before the deposition of the Imbrium ejecta. This new thorium map also confirms that the eastern highlands have a relatively higher thorium concentration than the western highlands. We propose that the thin crust and large basins on the eastern highlands are responsible for this difference in thorium.

文摘A spaceborne hard X-ray spectrometer, composed of an array of 99 scintillation detectors and associated readout electronics, has been developed for the hard X-ray imager(HXI). The HXI is one of the three payloads onboard the advanced space-based solar observatory(ASO-S), which is scheduled to be launched in early 2022 as the first Chinese solar satellite. LaBr3 scintillators and photomultiplier tubes with a super bialkali cathode are used to achieve an energy resolution better than 20% at 30 keV.Further, a new multi-channel charge-sensitive readout application-specific integrated circuit guarantees high-frequency data acquisition with low power consumption. This paper presents a detailed design of the spectrometer for the engineering model of the HXI and discusses its noise and linearity performance.

文摘The space environment background of various particle fluxes of the Hard X-ray Imager(HXI), one of the payloads of the Advanced Space-based Solar Observatory(ASO-S) spacecraft, is investigated and presented. Different approaches are used to obtain the input information on various space environment particles(protons, alpha particles, electrons, positrons, neutrons, and photons). Some special regions(SAA and radiation belt) are also taken into account. The findings indicate that electrons are the primary background source in the radiation belt. Due to the large background flux generated by electrons, HXI cannot effectively observe solar flares in the radiation belt.Outside the radiation belt, primary protons and albedo photons are the main sources of background at low and high magnetic latitudes respectively. The statistical analysis of the flare and background spectra shows that the errors of the flare energy spectrum observation are mainly concentrated in the high energy band, and the detector still has a certain spectrum observation capability for flares of C-class and below in the low energy band of the non-radiation belt. The imaging observation of flares of C-class and below is significantly affected by the accuracy of background subtraction. The energy band with the best signal-to-noise ratio is from 10 to 50 ke V, which can be used to monitor the formation and class of flares.

文摘A space-borne hard X-ray collimator,comprising 91 pairs of grids,has been developed for the Hard X-ray Imager(HXI).The HXI is one of the three scientific instruments onboard the first Chinese solar mission:the Advanced Space-based Solar Observatory(ASO-S).The HXI collimator(HXI-C)is a spatial modulation X-ray telescope designed to observe hard X-rays emitted by energetic electrons in solar flares.This paper presents the detailed design of the HXI-C for the qualification model that will be inherited by the flight model.Series tests on the HXI-C qualification model are reported to verify the ability of the HXI-C to survive the launch and to operate normally in on-orbit environments.Furthermore,results of the X-ray beam test for the HXI-C are presented to indirectly identify the working performance of the HXI-C.

文摘BACKGROUND Cuproptosis has recently been considered a novel form of programmed cell death.To date,long-chain non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)crucial to the regulation of this process remain unelucidated.AIM To identify lncRNAs linked to cuproptosis in order to estimate patients'prognoses for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).METHODS Using RNA sequence data from The Cancer Genome Atlas Live Hepatocellular Carcinoma(TCGA-LIHC),a co-expression network of cuproptosis-related genes and lncRNAs was constructed.For HCC prognosis,we developed a cuproptosisrelated lncRNA signature(CupRLSig)using univariate Cox,lasso,and multivariate Cox regression analyses.Kaplan-Meier analysis was used to compare overall survival among high-and low-risk groups stratified by median CupRLSig risk score.Furthermore,comparisons of functional annotation,immune infiltration,somatic mutation,tumor mutation burden(TMB),and pharmacologic options were made between high-and low-risk groups.RESULTS Three hundred and forty-three patients with complete follow-up data were recruited in the analysis.Pearson correlation analysis identified 157 cuproptosis-related lncRNAs related to 14 cuproptosis genes.Next,we divided the TCGA-LIHC sample into a training set and a validation set.In univariate Cox regression analysis,27 LncRNAs with prognostic value were identified in the training set.After lasso regression,the multivariate Cox regression model determined the identified risk equation as follows:Risk score=(0.2659×PICSAR expression)+(0.4374×FOXD2-AS1 expression)+(-0.3467×AP001065.1 expression).The CupRLSig high-risk group was associated with poor overall survival(hazard ratio=1.162,95%CI=1.063-1.270;P<0.001)after the patients were divided into two groups depending upon their median risk score.Model accuracy was further supported by receiver operating characteristic and principal component analysis as well as the validation set.The area under the curve of 0.741 was found to be a better predictor of HCC prognosis as compared to other clinicopathological variables.Mutation analysis revealed that high-risk combinations with high TMB carried worse prognoses(median survival of 30 mo vs 102 mo of low-risk combinations with low TMB group).The low-risk group had more activated natural killer cells(NK cells,P=0.032 by Wilcoxon rank sum test)and fewer regulatory T cells(Tregs,P=0.021)infiltration than the high-risk group.This finding could explain why the low-risk group has a better prognosis.Interestingly,when checkpoint gene expression(CD276,CTLA-4,and PDCD-1)and tumor immune dysfunction and rejection(TIDE)scores are considered,highrisk patients may respond better to immunotherapy.Finally,most drugs commonly used in preclinical and clinical systemic therapy for HCC,such as 5-fluorouracil,gemcitabine,paclitaxel,imatinib,sunitinib,rapamycin,and XL-184(cabozantinib),were found to be more efficacious in the low-risk group;erlotinib,an exception,was more efficacious in the high-risk group.CONCLUSION The lncRNA signature,CupRLSig,constructed in this study is valuable in prognostic estimation of HCC.Importantly,CupRLSig also predicts the level of immune infiltration and potential efficacy of tumor immunotherapy.

文摘Background: Dorper is an important breed for meat purpose and widely used in the livestock industry of the world.However, the protein requirement of Dorper crossbred has not been investigated. The current paper reports the net protein(NP) and metabolizable protein(MP) requirements of Dorper crossbred ram lambs from 20 to 35 kg BW.Methods: Thirty-five Dorper × thin-tailed Han crossbred lambs weaned at approximately 50 d of age(20.3 ± 2.15 kg of BW) were used. Seven lambs of 25 kg BW were slaughtered as the baseline animals at the start of the trial. An intermediate group of seven randomly selected lambs fed ad libitum was slaughtered at 28.6 kg BW. The remaining 21 lambs were randomly divided into three levels of dry matter intake: ad libitum or 70% or 40% of ad libitum intake. Those lambs were slaughtered when the lambs fed ad libitum reached 35 kg BW. Total body N and N retention were measured.Results: The daily NP and MP requirements for maintenance were 1.89 and 4.52 g/kg metabolic shrunk BW(SBW0.75).The partial efficiency of MP utilization for maintenance was 0.42. The NP requirement for growth ranged from 12.1 to 43.5 g/d, for the lambs gaining 100 to 350 g/d, and the partial efficiency of MP utilization for growth was 0.86.Conclusions: The NP and MP requirements for the maintenance and growth of Dorper crossbred male lambs were lower than the recommendations of American and British nutritional systems.

文摘Cellulose nanocrystal(CNC)prepared by hydrolysis of cotton linters with sulfuric acid was used to react with chloroauric acid to manufacture a gold nanoparticle/CNC composite.The composite was then graft-copolymerized with N-isopropylacrylamide to obtain a photo-thermal ultrafine gold nanoparticles/CNC-based hydrogel.The hydrogel was studied by performing scanning electron microscopy,and it was found that the prepared hydrogel had a network structure.The temperature of the hydrogel increased from 25℃to 39℃and its volume decreased by 30%when it was exposed to visible light(400~750 nm)for 1 h.The experiment results indicated that the prepared photo-thermal CNC-based hydrogel has thermal responsiveness and photo-thermal properties.
