Corporate-based networks have provided an important lens for the understanding of regional configuration,but the sole focus on intrafirm linkages limited the revealing of the whole picture of a region.In this regard,t...Corporate-based networks have provided an important lens for the understanding of regional configuration,but the sole focus on intrafirm linkages limited the revealing of the whole picture of a region.In this regard,this study centers at the inter-firm linkages in the Yangtze River Delta,and employs the data concerning business interactions between patent consulting companies and their clients to supplement the analysis on the urban network in the region.The results show that the local administrative power represented by provincial government is still decisive in determining the economic relations among enterprises.Provincial capital cities including Nanjing,Hangzhou,and Hefei occupy the center positions of the regional network,while Shanghai,due to its lack of administrative hinterland,fails to show significant centralized functions.A comparative analysis on urban network from multiple perspectives shows that although the Yangtze River Delta region presents the characteristics of a flat spatial structure in certain fields,significant administrative constraints are still observed in the advanced producer service functions,demonstrating a distinctive feature of market division in the region.By employing new data,this study introduces a new lens for the research on urban network,and,to a certain extent,achieves a breakthrough in the existing theoretical framework of related research.展开更多
With the increasing impact of globalization and informatization,the functional spatial pattern of the Yangtze River Delta,being reshaped by the new economy led by"Internet Plus,"is becoming more complicated....With the increasing impact of globalization and informatization,the functional spatial pattern of the Yangtze River Delta,being reshaped by the new economy led by"Internet Plus,"is becoming more complicated.Hence,the study on the spatial pattern of e-commerce has much practical significance.Considering that B2 B e-commerce is a typical representative of the e-commerce economy currently in China,this paper analyzes the B2 B e-commerce enterprise network and explores whether the globalization and informatization processes have brought about a new spatial pattern in the Yangtze River Delta,to improve its spatial structure recognition.It is found that:(1)the status of Shanghai and Yiwu as two cores of the network has become prominent,while the status of Nanjing and Ningbo as traditional network centers has been weakened;(2)the regional axis has changed,with the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Yiwu axis rising and the traditional economic corridors such as the Shanghai-Nanjing axis and the Hangzhou-Ningbo axis being weakened;(3)the core area of the network connection has expanded,with the Jinhua-Yiwu region and the WenzhouTaizhou region becoming areas with close connections.展开更多

Farmers'homesteads reform is an important measure to improve land use efficiency and achieve high-quality development of villages.And village planning under the background of territorial and spatial planning is on...Farmers'homesteads reform is an important measure to improve land use efficiency and achieve high-quality development of villages.And village planning under the background of territorial and spatial planning is one of the important ways to implement this measure.In Harbin,the large-scale agricultural development is an obvious characteristic of its rural areas.With the rapid agricultural modernization and industrialization of Harbin,the rural population is constantly migrating with a large amount of rural land is left idle,and the phenomenon of“hollow village”in rural areas gets increasingly serious.Therefore,it is urgent to carry out the reform of the homestead system to integrate resources and promote the land use efficiency.Responding to the characteristic of rural development in Harbin,this paper suggests to implement the homestead reform through village planning.Balancing the benefits of the country,the collectives,and farmers,it proposes to restrict the size of homestead through the control method with two planning lines,i.e.,the homestead control line of the village and the single-family homestead control line.What's more,the paper also suggests to replan the saved land and explore multiple ways of land use in large-scale agricultural areas.展开更多

As China’s socio-economic development is entering into a transitioning era,urban residents’demands are becoming more diversified,complicated,and fragmented.Ought to address issues regarding community environmental r...As China’s socio-economic development is entering into a transitioning era,urban residents’demands are becoming more diversified,complicated,and fragmented.Ought to address issues regarding community environmental renovation,infrastructure and facilities constructions,and efficient public service supplies,measures should be adopted to adjust the urban community governance model in China to face emergent challenges.Against this background,this paper argues that the"participating actors,""community management and organization framework,""related laws,regulations,and policies,"and"resources allocation and management"are the four crucial dimensions in urban community governance.We then adopted these four underpinnings as the theoretical framework to unravel the complex dynamics of community governance in contemporary urban China.This paper argues that the current community governance system falls short in accommodating the growing demands of community development due to"ambiguity of participating actors,""excessive administrative intervention on community management,""insufficient legislation supports,"and a"deficiency in financing management system."Therefore,this paper argues that through the pluralization of public participation,diversification of community organization modes,and the enhancement of participation accessibility,community governance performance in urban China could be drastically improved.Therefore,a pluralistic and participatory community governance model is proposed in this paper to provide additional policy implications for community governance in urban China.展开更多

As low and lower-middle social groups account for a great proportion of the total population in China and their status in society is special,it is of great social and practical significance to study their housing cond...As low and lower-middle social groups account for a great proportion of the total population in China and their status in society is special,it is of great social and practical significance to study their housing conditions and characteristics.Based on research at home and abroad,this paper defines the basic characteristics of low and lower-middle social groups in China,and elaborates the definition and connotation of housing marginalization,thereby proposing that these residents in the Chinese city are facing a problem of housing marginalization.According to data from the fifth and sixth population census and statistical yearbooks of Chengdu,it reveals changes in housing location,housing tenure structure,and housing quality of the study group between 2000 to 2010 by means of spatial and statistical analysis,which indicates that the low and lower-middle social groups are facing the three trends of"living in outskirts,""predicament in tenure selectivity of housing,"and"impoverishment of housing quality."In response to these trends,three planning suggestions are proposed:①to establish"housing policy areas"suitable for the group of residents to reside and work;②to innovate policy measures to support the low and lower-middle social groups to rent and purchase houses within these areas;③to guide the residents to integrate into the community life circle in these areas so as to avoid poverty concentration.展开更多
