A series of amphiphilic hyperbranched polymers(AHP-s,the“s”refers to the algebra of AHP)were synthesized by the reaction between hydroxyl-terminated hyperbranched polymers(HBP-s,the“s”refers to the algebra of HBP)...A series of amphiphilic hyperbranched polymers(AHP-s,the“s”refers to the algebra of AHP)were synthesized by the reaction between hydroxyl-terminated hyperbranched polymers(HBP-s,the“s”refers to the algebra of HBP)and palmitoyl chloride.FTIR,NMR and GPC were used to determine the structure of AHP-s,the results showed that AHP-s exhibits core-shell structure.The thermal properties of polymers were investigated by DSC and TGA.It was found that AHP-2,AHP-3 and AHP-4 display higher thermal stability than AHP-1(AHP-1,AHP-2,AHP-3 and AHP-4 represent the first,second,third and fourth generation AHP,respectively).Furthermore,the self-assembly performance of AHP-s in THF solvent was investigated by TEM and SEM.Finally,the encapsulation capacity of the AHP-s for methyl orange(MO)was explored at different concentrations of AHP-s and pH conditions.It was found that AHP-s is capable of accommodating hydrophilic guest MO.Moreover,the higher generation of AHP-s,the stronger encapsulation capacity obtained.And the encapsulation capacity closely associated with the pH of encapsulation system.展开更多
To realize a fast,easy-operation and precise way using fluorescence probes to quantify analytes is a goal to facilitate detection,especially in situ.Herein,we are reporting an approach which can be generally employed ...To realize a fast,easy-operation and precise way using fluorescence probes to quantify analytes is a goal to facilitate detection,especially in situ.Herein,we are reporting an approach which can be generally employed for the differentiation and quantitation of analytes through fluorescence chromaticity and luminosity.Seven representative fluorescent probes,targeting p H,cysteine,hydrogen sulfide,hydrogen peroxide,palladium and hydrazine,were synthesized and tested.Without utilizing costly instrumentations,portable devices were employed to collect data of photographs from the fluorescence samples in responses to different analytes.Subsequently,the photographic images were digitally processed to generate calibration curves between chromaticity/luminosity verse concentrations after mapping to the CIE 1931 xy Y standard color space.Good linear calibration curves and quantitative analysis of unknown samples with low errors through the spectral technology demonstrated the reliability of this method.Thus,we showed the analytical method with a simple and on-site constructible/portable device which is promising for applications in more fluorescence probes.展开更多

A facile synthesis procedure is proposed to prepare homogeneous Zr and Ti co-doped SBA-15(Zr-Ti-SBA-15)with high specific surface area of 876.0m2 g−1.Based on“masking mechanism”from tanning,lactic acid was used as m...A facile synthesis procedure is proposed to prepare homogeneous Zr and Ti co-doped SBA-15(Zr-Ti-SBA-15)with high specific surface area of 876.0m2 g−1.Based on“masking mechanism”from tanning,lactic acid was used as masking agent to obtain the uniform distribution of Zr and Ti species in the SBA-15 framework.The obtained materials were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction(XRD),nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherms,scanning electron microscope(SEM),transmission electron microscope(TEM)and X-ray photoelectron(XPS).The results reveal that in mesoporous materials,the presence of lactic acid gives rise to the uniform distribution of Zr and Ti species.The adsorption equilibrium and kinetic studies of Zr-Ti-SBA-15 materials show that the adsorption process conforms to the Langmuir isotherm and pseudo-second-order kinetic model,respectively.Regenerational experiments show that the Zr-Ti-SBA-15 displays a significant adsorption ability for methylene blue(MB)(up to 291.6 mg/g),along with good reusability,indicating promising potentials of commercialization.Methodologically,this work provides a wide range of possibilities for further development of SBA-15 based on bimetallic and sewage disposal.展开更多
