The objective of this retrospective study was to evaluate the value of serial ps-Tg measurements in identifying DM-DTC specifically. Methods: A total of 317 DTC patients with serial measurements of ps-Tg, TSH and anti-Tg antibody were divided into M1 (n=72) and M0 (n=245) according to the presence of distant metastasis (DM) or not. The initial psTg measurement, with a corresponding TSH exceeding 30 mu IU/mL, was marked as Tg1, and ps-Tg measured right before radioactive iodine (RAI) therapy was defined as Tg2, with a median interval of 8 days. Delta Tg denotes Tg2-Tg1, and Delta TSH denotes TSH2-TSH1. Tg1, Tg2, Delta Tg, and Delta Tg/Delta TSH were tested for efficacy in identifying DM-DTC using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis, and further compared with chest computed tomography (CT) and posttreatment whole-body RAI scan (RxWBS). Results: Compared with single ps-Tg measurement (Tg1 or Tg2), both Delta Tg and Delta Tg/Delta TSH were more narrowly distributed around zero in the M0 group, which made their distribution in the M1 group more distinguished in a relatively dispersed way. Delta Tg/Delta TSH manifested a higher accuracy (88.64%) and specificity (90.20%) in identifying DM-DTC than Tg1 or Tg2 measurements, with a much higher specificity than chest CT (90.20% vs. 66.00%) and a much higher sensitivity than RxWBS (83.33% vs. 61.11%). Conclusions: Serial ps-Tg measurements even over as short an interval as 8 days hold incremental value in identifying DM-DTC. Delta Tg/Delta TSH is a specific early biochemical marker for DM-DTC.展开更多
Possible light bosonic dark matter interactions with the Standard Model photon have been searched using microwave resonant cavities.In this paper,we describe the cryogenic readout system calibration of a 7.138 GHz cop...Possible light bosonic dark matter interactions with the Standard Model photon have been searched using microwave resonant cavities.In this paper,we describe the cryogenic readout system calibration of a 7.138 GHz copper cavity with a loaded quality factorQ1=10^(4)whose operation at a temperature of 22 mK is based on a dilution refrigerator.Our readout system consists of High Electron Mobility Transistors working as cryogenic amplifiers at 4 K,plus room-temperature amplifiers and a spectrum analyzer for signal power detection.We tested the system with a superconducting two-level system based on a single-photon source in the microwave frequency regime.We obtained an overall 95.6 dB system gain and–71.4 dB attenuation in the cavity's input channel.The effective noise temperature of the measurement system is 7.5 K.展开更多

Utilizing the deterministic algorithm introduced in He...We investigate the construction of four-family N= 1 supersymmetric Pati-Salam models from Type IIA T^(6)×Z_(2) Z_(2) orientifold with intersecting D6-branes. Utilizing the deterministic algorithm introduced in He W, Li T and Sun R(2021 ar Xiv: hep-th/2112.09632), we obtain 274 types of models with three rectangular tori and distinct gauge coupling relations at string scale,while 6 types of models with two rectangular tori and one tilted torus. In both cases, there exists a class of models with gauge coupling unification at string scale. In particular, for the models with two rectangular tori, one tilted torus and gauge coupling unification, the gaugino condensations are allowed, and thus supersymmetry breaking and moduli stabilization are possible for further phenomenological study.展开更多
We consider the polynomial inflation with the tensor-to-scalar ratio as large as possible which can be consistent with the quantum gravity(QG) corrections and effective field theory(EFT). To get a minimal field excurs...We consider the polynomial inflation with the tensor-to-scalar ratio as large as possible which can be consistent with the quantum gravity(QG) corrections and effective field theory(EFT). To get a minimal field excursion ΔΦ for enough e-folding number N, the inflaton field traverses an extremely flat part of the scalar potential, which results in the Lyth bound to be violated. We get a CMB signal consistent with Planck data by numerically computing the equation of motion for inflaton Φ and using Mukhanov–Sasaki formalism for primordial spectrum. Inflation ends at Hubble slow-roll parameter ε_(1)^(H)=1 or a=0. Interestingly, we find an excellent practical bound on the inflaton excursion in the format a+b√r, where a is a tiny real number and b is at the order 1. To be consistent with QG/EFT and suppress the high-dimensional operators, we show that the concrete condition on inflaton excursion is M_(PI)/△_(Ф)<0.2×√10≈0.632. For n_(s)= 0.9649,N_(e)= 55, and M_(PI)/△_(Ф)<0.632 MPl, we predict that the tensor-to-scalar ratio is smaller than 0.0012 for such polynomial inflation to be consistent with QG/EFT.展开更多
