Background:Neuro-inflammation is regarded as one of the critical pathogenesis in neurodegenerative diseases,which is characterized by the activated microglial cells.Pectolinarin(Pec),a natural flavonoid that exists in...Background:Neuro-inflammation is regarded as one of the critical pathogenesis in neurodegenerative diseases,which is characterized by the activated microglial cells.Pectolinarin(Pec),a natural flavonoid that exists in many Chinese herbal medicines,has been reported to have various biological activities.However,the effects and mechanisms on neuro-inflammation are not clear.Methods:In this study,the inhibitory effects and mechanisms of Pec on neuro-inflammation were investigated in the LPS-stimulated microglial BV_(2) cells.BV_(2) microglial cells were treated with Pec or vehicle,followed by LPS.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,real-time quantitative PCR,nitric oxide and reactive oxygen species assay,and western blot were performed to examine the effects of Pec on neuro-inflammatory responses.Results:We showed that Pec significantly inhibited the expression of tumor necrosis factorαand interleukin 6 in mRNA and protein levels induced by LPS.Moreover,the production of nitric oxide,iNOS,reactive oxygen species,and COX-2 were suppressed by Pec in LPS-stimulated microglial BV_(2) cells.In addition,Pec inhibited LPS-induced inflammation via nuclear factor kappa B signaling pathway,as evidenced by the reduction of the phosphorylation of inhibitor of nuclear factor kappa-B kinase,the degradation of IκBα,and the nuclear translocation of p65.Conclusion:Taken together,Pec exhibited anti-inflammatory effects in LPS-stimulated microglial BV_(2) cells via nuclear factor kappa B signaling pathway,which might provide therapeutic potential for neuro-inflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.展开更多

The mega-constellation network has gained significant attention recently due to its great potential in providing ubiquitous and high-capacity connectivity in sixth-generation(6G)wireless communication systems.However,...The mega-constellation network has gained significant attention recently due to its great potential in providing ubiquitous and high-capacity connectivity in sixth-generation(6G)wireless communication systems.However,the high dynamics of network topology and large scale of mega-constellation pose new challenges to the constellation simulation and performance evaluation.In this paper,we introduce UltraStar,a lightweight network simulator,which aims to facilitate the complicated simulation for the emerging mega-constellation of unprecedented scale.Particularly,a systematic and extensible architecture is proposed,where the joint requirement for network simulation,quantitative evaluation,data statistics and visualization is fully considered.For characterizing the network,we make lightweight abstractions of physical entities and models,which contain basic representatives of networking nodes,structures and protocol stacks.Then,to consider the high dynamics of Walker constellations,we give a two-stage topology maintenance method for constellation initialization and orbit prediction.Further,based on the discrete event simulation(DES)theory,a new set of discrete events is specifically designed for basic network processes,so as to maintain network state changes over time.Finally,taking the first-generation Starlink of 11927 low earth orbit(LEO)satellites as an example,we use UltraStar to fully evaluate its network performance for different deployment stages,such as characteristics of constellation topology,performance of end-to-end service and effects of network-wide traffic interaction.The simulation results not only demonstrate its superior performance,but also verify the effectiveness of UltraStar.展开更多
The ever-growing pursuit of high energy density batteries has triggered extensive efforts toward developing alkali metal(Li,Na,and K)battery(AMB)technologies owing to high theoretical capacities and low redox potentia...The ever-growing pursuit of high energy density batteries has triggered extensive efforts toward developing alkali metal(Li,Na,and K)battery(AMB)technologies owing to high theoretical capacities and low redox potentials of metallic anodes.Typically,for new battery systems,the electrolyte design is critical for realizing the battery electrochemistry of AMBs.Conventional electrolytes in alkali ion batteries are generally unsuitable for sustaining the stability owing to the hyper-reactivity and dendritic growth of alkali metals.In this review,we begin with the fundamentals of AMB electrolytes.Recent advancements in concentrated and fluorinated electrolytes,as well as functional electrolyte additives for boosting the stability of Li metal batteries,are summarized and discussed with a special focus on structure-composition-performance relationships.We then delve into the electrolyte formulations for Na-and K metal batteries,including those in which Na/K do not adhere to the Li-inherited paradigms.Finally,the challenges and the future research needs in advanced electrolytes for AMB are highlighted.This comprehensive review sheds light on the principles for the rational design of promising electrolytes and offers new inspirations for developing stable AMBs with high performance.展开更多

In order to solve the freezing situation of the wind sensor, this paper designs a new type of antifreeze wind speed sensor. After meteorology performance testing and field observation tests, the correlation coefficient of the observation data is demonstrated, and the data curve is fitted. The outbreak of the 2019 novel coronavirus disease(COVID-19)has caused more than 100,000 people infected and thousands of deaths.Currently,the number of infections and deaths is still increasing rapidly.COVID-19 serio...The outbreak of the 2019 novel coronavirus disease(COVID-19)has caused more than 100,000 people infected and thousands of deaths.Currently,the number of infections and deaths is still increasing rapidly.COVID-19 seriously threatens human health,production,life,social functioning and international relations.In the fight against COVID-19,Geographic Information Systems(GIS)and big data technologies have played an important role in many aspects,including the rapid aggregation of multi-source big data,rapid visualization of epidemic information,spatial tracking of confirmed cases,prediction of regional transmission,spatial segmentation of the epidemic risk and prevention level,balancing and management of the supply and demand of material resources,and socialemotional guidance and panic elimination,which provided solid spatial information support for decision-making,measures formulation,and effectiveness assessment of COVID-19 prevention and control.GIS has developed and matured relatively quickly and has a complete technological route for data preparation,platform construction,model construction,and map production.However,for the struggle against the widespread epidemic,the main challenge is finding strategies to adjust traditional technical methods and improve speed and accuracy of information provision for social management.At the data level,in the era of big data,data no longer come mainly from the government but are gathered from more diverse enterprises.As a result,the use of GIS faces difficulties in data acquisition and the integration of heterogeneous data,which requires governments,businesses,and academic institutions to jointly promote the formulation of relevant policies.At the technical level,spatial analysis methods for big data are in the ascendancy.Currently and for a long time in the future,the development of GIS should be strengthened to form a data-driven system for rapid knowledge acquisition,which signifies ts that GIS should be used to reinforce the social operation parameterization of models and methods,especially when providing support for social management.展开更多

As such, the condition is rare in adults. We present a case of a congenital bronchoesophageal fistula in a 62-year-old man with the complaint of severe bouts of cough and choking after swallowing liquid. His workup included a barium esophagogram that revealed a fistula between the esophagus and a right lower lobe bronchus. The diagnosis should be considered in certain individuals with suggestive symptomatology and unexplained respiratory pathology. The fistula was divided and resected, The patient had an uneventful recovery.展开更多

The PCO value was measured by retroillumination photographs and Evaluation of Posterior Capsule Opacification(EPCO) 2000 image-analysis software at 1, 6, 12, and 24 mo after surgery. Visual acuity, and contrast sensitivity in photopic and mesopic conditions were also examined at each follow up time point. The incidence of eye that required Nd:YAG laser posterior capsulotomy were also compared.·RESULTS: There was not any statistically significant difference in PCO scores between Rayner C-flex 570 C group and Sensar AR40 e group at each follow up time point. Visual acuity, Nd:YAG capsulotomy incidence and contrast sensitivity also had no significant difference during the 24 mo follow-up.·CONCLUSION: For diabetic patients, Rayner 570 C Cflex and Sensar AR40 e IOLs are same effective for prevent PCO. Drug resistance is mainly responsible for cancer recurrence and poor prognosis.Epigenetic regulation is a heritable change in gene expressions independent of nucleotide sequence changes.As the common epigenetic regula...Drug resistance is mainly responsible for cancer recurrence and poor prognosis.Epigenetic regulation is a heritable change in gene expressions independent of nucleotide sequence changes.As the common epigenetic regulation mechanisms,DNA methylation,histone modification,and non-coding RNA regulation have been well studied.Increasing evidence has shown that aberrant epigenetic regulations contribute to tumor resistance.Therefore,targeting epigenetic regulators represents an effective strategy to reverse drug resistance.In this review,we mainly summarize the roles of epigenetic regulation in tumor resistance.In addition,as the essential factors for epigenetic modifications,histone demethylases mediate the histone or genomic DNA modifications.Herein,we comprehensively describe the functions of the histone demethylase family including the lysine-specific demethylase family,the Jumonji C-domain-containing demethylase family,and the histone arginine demethylase family,and fully discuss their regulatory mechanisms related to cancer drug resistance.In addition,therapeutic strategies,including small-molecule inhibitors and small interfering RNA targeting histone demethylases to overcome drug resistance,are also described.展开更多

In order to provide the constraint on the Qilian orogenic mech...The Northeastern Tibetan plateau records Caledonian Qilian orogeny and Cenozoic reactivation by continental collision between the Indian and Asian plates. In order to provide the constraint on the Qilian orogenic mechanism and the expansion of the plateau,wide-angle seismic data was acquired along a 430 km-long profile between Jingtai and Hezuo. There is strong height variation along the profile,which is dealt by topography flattening scheme in our crustal velocity structure reconstruction. We herein present the upper crustal P-wave velocity structure model resulting from the interpretation of first arrival dataset from topography-dependent eikonal traveltime tomography. With topography flattening scheme to process real topography along the profile,the evenness of ray coverage times of the image area(upper crust)is improved,which provides upper crustal velocity model comparable to the classic traveltime tomography(with model expansion scheme to process irregular surface). The upper crustal velocity model shows zoning character which matcheswith the tectonic division of the Qaidam-Kunlun-West Qinling belt,the Central and Northern Qilian,and the Alax blocks along the profile. The resultant upper crustal P-wave velocity model is expected to provide important base for linkage between the mapped surface geology and deep structure or geodynamics in Northeastern Tibet.展开更多

TA involving the pulmonary arteries has a prevalence ranging...Takayasu arteritis (TA) is a chronic, nonspecific inflammatory disease of large and medium-sized vessels that primarily involves the aorta and its branches. TA involving the pulmonary arteries has a prevalence ranging from 14% to 86%, which can lead to pulmonary hypertension, a progressive increase in pulmonary artery pressure, and eventually death from right heart failure. The presentation of pulmonary arteritis (PA) is very nonspecific, with a reported misdiagnosis rate of up to 60% and a diagnosis time ranging from 1 month to more than 10 years. The clinical manifestation of pleural effusion is very rare in both TA and PA cases. Based on our literature review, this is the 6th reported case of TA with pleural effusion, and the specific mechanism of TA with pleural effusion is still unclear. The characteristics of this case and the previously reported cases are summarized in this article to improve the understanding of TA and PA and reduce the misdiagnosis rate.展开更多

According to the verification regulation of the Wind Direction and Wind Speed Sensor of Automatic Meteorological Station[JJG(meteorological)004-2011],relying on the wind tunnel laboratory of Hebei meteorological measu...According to the verification regulation of the Wind Direction and Wind Speed Sensor of Automatic Meteorological Station[JJG(meteorological)004-2011],relying on the wind tunnel laboratory of Hebei meteorological measurement station,EL15-1 A type of wind speed sensor in the automatic weather station was verified.The experimental data of sensor verification in different laboratory environments were obtained through data comparison.Using standard wind speed measurement formula,the influence of laboratory temperature,humidity and air pressure on verification results was analyzed quantitatively.The results showed that laboratory temperature had the greatest influence on the verification results of this type of sensor,while the humidity and air pressure had less influence.Therefore,it should be noted that the temperature change in the laboratory should not be too large in the process of verification,so as to improve the accuracy of the verification results.展开更多

Visual acuity, Nd:YAG capsulotomy incidence and contrast sensitivity also had no significant difference during the 24 mo follow-up.·CONCLUSION: For diabetic patients, Rayner 570 C Cflex and Sensar AR40 e IOLs are same effective for prevent PCO. The 360-degree square edge design maybe is a good alternative technique to improve PCO prevention.

文摘Drug resistance is mainly responsible for cancer recurrence and poor prognosis.Epigenetic regulation is a heritable change in gene expressions independent of nucleotide sequence changes.As the common epigenetic regulation mechanisms,DNA methylation,histone modification,and non-coding RNA regulation have been well studied.Increasing evidence has shown that aberrant epigenetic regulations contribute to tumor resistance.Therefore,targeting epigenetic regulators represents an effective strategy to reverse drug resistance.In this review,we mainly summarize the roles of epigenetic regulation in tumor resistance.In addition,as the essential factors for epigenetic modifications,histone demethylases mediate the histone or genomic DNA modifications.Herein,we comprehensively describe the functions of the histone demethylase family including the lysine-specific demethylase family,the Jumonji C-domain-containing demethylase family,and the histone arginine demethylase family,and fully discuss their regulatory mechanisms related to cancer drug resistance.In addition,therapeutic strategies,including small-molecule inhibitors and small interfering RNA targeting histone demethylases to overcome drug resistance,are also described.

文摘The Northeastern Tibetan plateau records Caledonian Qilian orogeny and Cenozoic reactivation by continental collision between the Indian and Asian plates. In order to provide the constraint on the Qilian orogenic mechanism and the expansion of the plateau,wide-angle seismic data was acquired along a 430 km-long profile between Jingtai and Hezuo. There is strong height variation along the profile,which is dealt by topography flattening scheme in our crustal velocity structure reconstruction. We herein present the upper crustal P-wave velocity structure model resulting from the interpretation of first arrival dataset from topography-dependent eikonal traveltime tomography. With topography flattening scheme to process real topography along the profile,the evenness of ray coverage times of the image area(upper crust)is improved,which provides upper crustal velocity model comparable to the classic traveltime tomography(with model expansion scheme to process irregular surface). The upper crustal velocity model shows zoning character which matcheswith the tectonic division of the Qaidam-Kunlun-West Qinling belt,the Central and Northern Qilian,and the Alax blocks along the profile. The resultant upper crustal P-wave velocity model is expected to provide important base for linkage between the mapped surface geology and deep structure or geodynamics in Northeastern Tibet.
文摘Takayasu arteritis (TA) is a chronic, nonspecific inflammatory disease of large and medium-sized vessels that primarily involves the aorta and its branches. TA involving the pulmonary arteries has a prevalence ranging from 14% to 86%, which can lead to pulmonary hypertension, a progressive increase in pulmonary artery pressure, and eventually death from right heart failure. The presentation of pulmonary arteritis (PA) is very nonspecific, with a reported misdiagnosis rate of up to 60% and a diagnosis time ranging from 1 month to more than 10 years. The clinical manifestation of pleural effusion is very rare in both TA and PA cases. Based on our literature review, this is the 6th reported case of TA with pleural effusion, and the specific mechanism of TA with pleural effusion is still unclear. The characteristics of this case and the previously reported cases are summarized in this article to improve the understanding of TA and PA and reduce the misdiagnosis rate.
文摘This paper presents a comparison and analysis method of data at traffic meteorological observation station during Beijing Winter Olympic Games period based on Grubbs criterion. By comparing the data of a set of standard multi-element observation stations with the data of multiple measured traffic stations, the outliers of each element data at each station were analyzed. It could provide data support for the maintenance of Zhangjiakou traffic meteorological observation station and a guarantee for the accuracy of forest service during Beijing Winter Olympic Games period.
文摘According to the verification regulation of the Wind Direction and Wind Speed Sensor of Automatic Meteorological Station[JJG(meteorological)004-2011],relying on the wind tunnel laboratory of Hebei meteorological measurement station,EL15-1 A type of wind speed sensor in the automatic weather station was verified.The experimental data of sensor verification in different laboratory environments were obtained through data comparison.Using standard wind speed measurement formula,the influence of laboratory temperature,humidity and air pressure on verification results was analyzed quantitatively.The results showed that laboratory temperature had the greatest influence on the verification results of this type of sensor,while the humidity and air pressure had less influence.Therefore,it should be noted that the temperature change in the laboratory should not be too large in the process of verification,so as to improve the accuracy of the verification results.
