Particularly, reports of postoperative MH are rare. This report describes the very rare case of a 29-year-old woman with neurological impairment complicated by rhabdomyolysis due to postoperative MH with an onset 30 hours after laparoscopic Nissen fundoplication and open gastrostomy, and the successful medical treatment of MH. We review the literature on this type of relationship between postoperative MH and neurological impairment, and discuss the clinical features of this complication. Furthermore, the usefulness of magnetic resonance imaging for the diagnosis of rhabdmyolysis caused by postoperative MH was explored. 展开更多
