为解决钼精矿标准分析方法步骤繁琐、1次只能测定1种元素的问题,开发了一种分析速度快、溶样方法简单且适用于钼精矿中多种元素同时测定的分析方法。该方法采用基体分离方式,利用电感耦合等离子体发射光谱法(ICP-OES)对钼精矿中多种元... 为解决钼精矿标准分析方法步骤繁琐、1次只能测定1种元素的问题,开发了一种分析速度快、溶样方法简单且适用于钼精矿中多种元素同时测定的分析方法。该方法采用基体分离方式,利用电感耦合等离子体发射光谱法(ICP-OES)对钼精矿中多种元素进行测定;使用双氧水-盐酸-硝酸-高氯酸强氧化体系溶解钼精矿,去除矿物中的碳和浮选剂等物质,然后通过过滤将三氧化钼沉淀从样品溶液中与铼分离,有效消除基体干扰。在发射功率1.2 kW、辅助气流速1.0 L/min、雾化气流速0.7 L/min、蠕动泵泵速12 r/min条件下,对溶液酸度、基体及共存元素的干扰进行了探究。结果表明,工作曲线线性相关系数均>0.999,检出限为0.000 3~0.02μg/mL,相对标准偏差为0.82%~4.96%。该方法与钼精矿国家标准分析方法相比,对钼精矿标准物质GBW(E)070212和GBW(E)070213的分析结果基本一致。 展开更多

Analysis of Cost Functions for Retrieving Sea Surface Salinity 被引量:4

Two kinds of Bayesian-based cost functions (i.e., the unconstrained cost function and parameter-constrained cost function) are investigated for retrieving the sea surface salinity (SSS). In low SSS regions, we have analyzed the sensitivity of the two cost functions to geophysical parameters. The results show that the unconstrained cost function is valid for retrieving several parameters (including SSS, wind speed and significant wave height), and the constrained cost function, which largely depends on the accuracy of reference values, may lead to large retrieval biases. Furthermore, as a retrieval parameter, the sea surface temperature (SST) can re-sult in the divergence of other geophysical parameters in an unconstrained cost function due to the strong sensitivity of brightness temperature to SST. By using the unconstrained cost function and the simulated brightness temperature TB with white noises, the retrieval biases of SSS are discussed with the following two procedures. Procedure a): the simulated TB values are first averaged, and then SSS is retrieved. Procedure b): the SSS is directly retrieved from the simulated TB , and then the retrieved SSS values are aver-aged. The results indicate that, for low SSS and SST distributions, the SSS retrieval by procedure a) has less biases compared with that by procedure b), while the two procedures give almost the same retrieval results for high SSS and SST sea regions. 展开更多

Permittivity of a sea foam layer is very important in investigating ocean brightness temperature model. At microwave frequency, the Rayleigh method is developed to estimate the effective permittivity of the sea foam layer. To simplify the tedious calculation of sea foam effective permittivity at L band(1.4 GHz), Pade' approximation is adopted to fit the sea foam effective permittivity computed by the Rayleigh method. With this fitting formula, a new brightness temperature model of sea foam layer defined by certain geophysical parameters, such as air volume fraction(AVF), sea surface temperature(SST), sea surface salinity(SSS) and thickness of foam layer d, is given. Furthermore, the sensitivities of the brightness temperature model to SST, SSS, d and AVF of a sea foam layer at L band are discussed. The sensitivities are ranked from most to least in the order:(1) d;(2) AVF;(3) SSS;(4) SST. This result indicates that the measurement errors of d and AVF have significant impacts on the retrievals of SSS and SST. With the experimental brightness temperature data, the SSS and AFV are retrieved by cost function. 展开更多

The Performance of Dual-Frequency Polarimetric Scatterometer in Sea Surface Wind Retrieval

The wind retrieval performance of HY-2 A scanning scatterometer operating at Ku-band in HH and VV polarizations has been well evaluated in the wind speed range of 0–25 m s^-1.In order to obtain more accurate ocean wind field,a potential extension of dual-frequency(C-band and Ku-band)polarimetric measurements is investigated for both low and very high wind speeds,from 5 to 45 m s^-1.Based on the geophysical model functions of C-band and Ku-band,the simulation results show that the polarimetric measurements of Ku-band can improve the wind vector retrieval over the entire scatterometer swath,especially in nadir area,with the wind direction root-mean-square error(RMSE)less than 12?in the wind speed range of 5–25 m s^-1.Furthermore,the results also show that C-band cross-polarization plays a very important role in improving the wind speed retrieval,with the wind speed retrieval accuracy better than 2 m s^-1 for all wind conditions(0–45 m s^-1).For extreme winds,the C-band HH backscatter coefficients modeled by CMOD5.N(H)and the ocean co-polarization ratio model at large incidence are used to retrieve sea surface wind vector.This result reveals that there is a big decrease of wind direction retrieval RMSE for extreme wind fields,and the retrieved result of C-band HH polarization is nearly the same as that of C-band VV polarization for low-to-high wind speed(5–25 m s^-1).Thus,to improve the wind retrieval for all wind conditions,the dual-frequency polarimetric scatterometer with C-band and Ku-band horizontal polarization in inner beam,and C-band horizontal and Ku-band vertical polarization in outer beam,can be used to measure ocean winds.This study will contribute to the wind retrieval with merged satellites data and the future spaceborne scatterometer. 展开更多

A Theoretical Model for the Microwave Emissivity of Rough Sea Surfaces

When sea surface wavelengths are not larger than microwave wavelengths,the microwave emissivity of Gaussian rough sea surfaces can be investigated by applying effective media theory(EMT)of rough surfaces.For one-dimensional Gaussian sea surface,the microwave emissivity model is proposed by EMT,which regards the air-sea rough interface as a new effective medium of isotropic permittivity between the top layer of air and the bottom layer of seawater.The emissivity model is controlled by the root mean square deviation(RMSD)of the rough surface height and the correlation length of the rough surface.Results clearly show that the emissivity increases along with the RMSD increase if the latter is smaller than a critical value.Furthermore,excess emissivities and the brightness temperature increments for a wind-roughened sea surface can be estimated from those of flat surfaces by fitting the RMSD as a function of wind speed.Good agreements are obtained by comparing the results of our model with the satellite data at microwave frequencies of 1.4,6.8,18,21,and 37 GHz,respectively.Moreover,these findings imply that our method can be extended to retrieve the sea surface parameters,such as RMSD and the correlation length of the rough surface,from the satellite data. 展开更多

The wavelet analysis of satellite sea surface temperature in the South China Sea and the Pacific Ocean

Using wavelet transform, the sea surface temperature (SST) during the period of 1982-1999 of the South China Sea and the equatorial Pacific, from datasets of NOAA/AVHRR, was analyzed. It is shown that there are 4- and 8-year interannual oscillations in the eastern equatorial Pacific and 8-year interannual oscillation in the western equatorial Pacific. In terms of attractive time-frequency localization and multi-scale properties of wavelet transform, as shown by the Morlet wavelet, it is found that an in-phase coupling oscillation occurs between the SCS and the equatorial Pacific. The SST changes of SCS will have echoed every event of El Nino (abnormally warm) and La Nina (abnormally cold) in the equatorial Pacific. There is a positive correlation between the SCS and the western equatorial Pacific in the 8-year time-scale. Evidence is presented that the SST anomalies of the equatorial Pacific influence the SST of the SCS. 展开更多
