New comblike polymers(CP) have been synthesized by reacting monomethyl ether of polyethylene glycol(PEGME) with poly(methyl vinyl ether-alt-maleic anhydride)(MA) and endcapping the residual carboxylic acid with methanol. Butanone was selected as a solvent for the esterification reaction in order to obtain a completely soluble product. They were characterized by IR, C-13 NMR and elemental analysis. 展开更多
