Functionalized ionic liquids(FILs)as extractants were employed for the separation of tungsten and molybdenum from a sulfate solution for the first time.The effects of initial pH,extractant concentration,metal concentr...Functionalized ionic liquids(FILs)as extractants were employed for the separation of tungsten and molybdenum from a sulfate solution for the first time.The effects of initial pH,extractant concentration,metal concentrations in the feed were comprehensively investigated.The results showed that tricaprylmethylammonium bis(2,4,4-trimethylpentyl)phosphinate([A336][Cyanex272])could selectively extract W over Mo at an initial pH value of 5.5;the best separation factorβ_(W/Mo) of 25.61 was obtained for a solution with low metal concentrations(WO3:2.49 g/L,Mo:1.04 g/L).The[A336][Cyanex272]system performed effectively for solutions of different W/Mo molar ratios and different metal ion concentrations in the feed.The chemical reaction between[A336][Cyanex272]and W followed the ion association mechanism,which was further proved by the Fourier-transform infrared(FTIR)spectra of loaded[A336][Cyanex272]and the free extractant.The stripping experiments indicated that 95.48%W and 100.00%Mo were stripped using a 0.20 mol/L sodium hydroxide solution.Finally,the selective extractions of W and Mo from two synthetic solutions of different high metal concentrations were obtained;the separation factorβW/Mo reached 23.24 and 17.59 for the first and second solutions,respectively.The results suggest the feasibility of[A336][Cyanex272]as an extractant for the separation of tungsten and molybdenum.展开更多
It is a challenge to recover lithium from the leaching solution of spent lithium-ion batteries,and crown ethers are potential extractants due to their selectivity to alkali metal ions.The theoretical calculations for ...It is a challenge to recover lithium from the leaching solution of spent lithium-ion batteries,and crown ethers are potential extractants due to their selectivity to alkali metal ions.The theoretical calculations for the selectivity of crown ethers with different structures to Li ions in aqueous solutions were carried out based on the density functional theory.The calculated results of geometries,binding energies,and thermodynamic parameters show that 15C5 has the strongest selectivity to Li ions in the three crown ethers of 12C4,15C5,and 18C6.B15C5 has a smaller binding energy but more negative free energy than 15C5 when combined with Li^+,leading to that the lithium ions in aqueous solutions will combine with B15C5 rather than 15C5.The exchange reactions between B15C5 and hydrated Li^+,Co^2+,and Ni^2+were analyzed and the results show that B15C5 is more likely to capture Li^+from the hydrated ions in an aqueous solution containing Li^+,Co^2+,and Ni^2+.This study indicates that it is feasible to extract Li ions selectively using B15C5 as an extractant from the leaching solution of spent lithium-ion batteries.展开更多
In this paper,the modal analysis of an air conditioner outdoor unit is carried out and the simulation results are compared with the experimental results to verify its accuracy.Aseparate structural optimization analysi...In this paper,the modal analysis of an air conditioner outdoor unit is carried out and the simulation results are compared with the experimental results to verify its accuracy.Aseparate structural optimization analysis is performed for the top plate,and the compression bars of the top plate are changed from transverse to vertical placement.The simulation results show that the natural frequency and stiffness of the top plate are improved.Under the premise of vertical placement of the compression bars,a three-factor,three-level orthogonal test is conducted to find the optimal combination of low-order natural frequency and high-order natural frequency in the given range.展开更多
