Background:Lung cancer cachexia has received widespread attention as one of the most common complications in patients with advanced lung cancer.As a multifactorial syndrome,lung cancer cachexia is characterized by a p...Background:Lung cancer cachexia has received widespread attention as one of the most common complications in patients with advanced lung cancer.As a multifactorial syndrome,lung cancer cachexia is characterized by a persistent decline in muscle mass that cannot be reversed by conventional nutrition Xiaoyan d ecoction can promote appetite and improve skeletal muscle mass in patients with lung cancer cachexia,while the third lumbar skeletal muscle index(L3-SMI)is able to determine whole-body skeletal muscle mass.To analyze the relationship between L3-SMI and hematological indexes and lung cancer cachexia,and to study the clinical efficacy of Xiaoyan decoction on skeletal muscle atrophy in lung cancer cachexia patients,with the aim of providing a reference basis for the early diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer cachexia patients and skeletal muscle atrophy.Methods:148 patients who were diagnosed with lung cancer in the Department of Oncology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to December 2022 were included,and were divided into cachexia and non-cachexia groups according to the diagnostic criteria of cachexia,and analyzed the differences of hematological indexes and L3-SMI between cachexia patients and non-cachexia patients.And the patients with cachexia were divided into control group and treatment group,analyzed and compared the changes of body mass index(BMI),L 3-SMI,Karnofsky functional status score,albumin and other hematological indexes of the two groups before and after the treatment,and evaluated the safety of the Xiaoyan decoction in the treatment of cachexia.Results:A total of 148 lung cancer patients were included in this study,including 67 patients in the cachexia group and 81 patients in the non-cachexia group.According to the pre-treatment statistical analysis,the BMI of patients in the cachexia group was lower than that of patients in the non-cachexia group(P<0.05);among the biochemical function indexes,the proportions of creatinine(P<0.05),total protein(P<0.05),The levels of albumin in the cachexia group were significantly lower(P<0.05)compared to the non-cachexia group;in the cachexia group,both males and females had lower L3-SMIs than in the non-cachexia group(P<0.05).A total of 62 cases of lung cancer cachexia were studied,30 cases in the control group and 32 cases in the treatment group,according to statistical analysis,BMI was significantly different before and after treatment(P<0.05);L3-SMI was significantly different in the treatment group before and after treatment(P<0.05);Karnofsky significantly differed in the treatment group before and after treatment(P<0.05);and there was a significant difference in albumin before and after(P<0.05).Conclusion:Cachexia patients had significantly lower third lumbar skeletal muscle mass than non-cachexia patients,according to this study;Xiaoyan decoction was able to improve skeletal muscle mass,nutritional status as well as functional status of patients with cachexia in lung cancer,among others.展开更多
This paper presents an ultra-wide bandwidth(UWB)low-frequency radio astronomical cryogenic receiver for the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST).It covers 6.6:1 bandwidth from 0.5 to 3.3 GHz.The...This paper presents an ultra-wide bandwidth(UWB)low-frequency radio astronomical cryogenic receiver for the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST).It covers 6.6:1 bandwidth from 0.5 to 3.3 GHz.The receiver consists of a Quad-Ridged Flared Horn(QRFH),a cryogenic microwave unit,an optical transceiver and a warm microwave and frequency mixing unit.A QRFH with a concentric-loaded dielectric spear is developed:the average return losses are larger than 20 d B;the average ports polarization isolation is 43.87 d B;the average dish efficiency is higher than 65%.Many UWB cryogenic low loss components are developed for the fabrication of a cryogenic microwave unit.The average noise temperature lower than 14.2 K and 22.5 K are achieved as referred to the input ports of cryogenic Dewar and the output of horn,respectively.Compared to other similar advanced UWB receivers,such as Parkes 0.7-4.2 GHz(6:1 bandwidth)receiver and FAST 0.27-1.62 GHz(6:1 bandwidth)receiver,wider relative bandwidth of the proposed receiver is achieved and it is a new attempt to expand the bandwidth of UWB low-frequency receiver.展开更多

It is worth noting that the moving path as well as the appearance time and place of the lump waves are given. However, current annotation techniques make no further investigation of the statement-level syntactic correlation among the annotated words, therefore making it very difficult to render natural language interpretation for images such as "pandas eat bamboo". In this paper, we propose an approach to interpret image semantics through mining the visible and textual information hidden in images. This approach mainly consists of two parts: first the annotated words of target images are ranked according to two factors, namely the visual correlation and the pairwise co-occurrence; then the statement-level syntactic correlation among annotated words is explored and natural language interpretation for the target image is obtained. Experiments conducted on real-world web images show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.展开更多
The hot carrier cooling occurs in most photoexcitation-induced phase transitions(PIPTs),but its role has often been neglected in many theoretical simulations as well as in proposed mechanisms.Here,by including the pre...The hot carrier cooling occurs in most photoexcitation-induced phase transitions(PIPTs),but its role has often been neglected in many theoretical simulations as well as in proposed mechanisms.Here,by including the previously ignored hot carrier cooling in real-time time-dependent density functional theory(rt-TDDFT)simulations,we investigated the role of hot carrier cooling in PIPTs.Taking IrTe2 as an example,we reveal that the cooling of hot electrons from the higher energy levels of spatially extended states to the lower energy levels of the localized Ir–Ir dimer antibonding states strengthens remarkably the atomic driving forces and enhances atomic kinetic energy.These two factors combine to dissolute the Ir–Ir dimers on a timescale near the limit of atomic motions,thus initiating a deterministic kinetic phase transition.We further demonstrate that the subsequent cooling induces nonradiative recombination of photoexcited electrons and holes,leading to the ultrafast recovery of the Ir–Ir dimers observed experimentally.These findings provide a complete picture of the atomic dynamics in optically excited structural phase transitions.展开更多
