[Objectives] This study was conducted to further investigate the taxonomic status of Hainan population of Trimeresurus stejnegeri from the morphological point of view.[Methods]The difference coefficients between different populations were compared using the 75% law,and the relationship between scales and latitudes was analyzed.[Results] The scales(abdominal and subcaudal) of 325 Trimeresurus individuals were counted according to China Animal Fauna,including156 T.stejnegeri individuals.Some difference coefficients between the Hainan population and others were greater than 1.28,and there was no correlation between the number of scales and latitude.It conforms to subclassification criteria.[Conclusions]The view about the subspecies status of T.stejnegeri chenbihuii should be supported. 展开更多

Analysis of the personalized treatment and the relevant prognostic factors in children with medulloblastoma

Purpose:The present study summarized cases of children(n=32)with medulloblastoma(MB)who were treated using stratified therapy based on risk grading and also discussed the factors affecting prognosis.Methods:According to the risk stratification criteria,the cases were divided into the following four risk groups:low,standard,high,and very high.The 5-year overall survival(OS)and progression-free survival(PFS)rates were summarized.Further,the effects on the prognosis of tumor size,tumor stage,degree of resection,treatment mode,metastatic recurrence,molecular typing,and risk stratification were analyzed.Results:In the present study,following surgery,3 cases abandoned radiotherapy(RT)and chemotherapy(CHT),7 cases(<3 years of age)received only CHT,and 22 cases received combined RT and CHT.Total and near-total tumor resections were performed in 29 cases(90.6%).Subtotal resections were performed in 3 cases,and there were no surgery-related deaths.The average follow-up duration was 47 months.The average 5-year PFS and OS rates were 57.3%±7.2%and 68.7%±8.6%,respectively.The OS and PFS rates were significantly correlated with tumor-risk stratification,molecular staging,tumor stage,treatment mode,and recurrence after surgery(p<0.01).The degree of tumor resection,pathological type,and the presence of preoperative implantation were secondary factors affecting the prognosis(p<0.05).Age was correlated with the PFS rate.There was no correlation between age/tumor location/tumor size and prognosis(p>0.05).Favorable prognostic factors in the low-and standard-risk groups were stage M0,wingless-type MB,postoperative RT combined with CHT,no postoperative recurrence,age≥3 years,and total tumor resection.Conclusions:Personalized treatment strategies based on the risk stratification of MB and postoperative stratified comprehensive treatment could help improve the prognosis for MB. 展开更多

The application of a gravimetric forward modelling of the lithospheric structure for an estimate of the average density of the upper asthenosphere

The average density of 3300 kg m-3 is often attributed for the asthenosphere. In this study, we inspect this value by estimating the average value of the(upper) asthenosphere based on applying the gravimetric forward modelling of major known lithospheric density structures. The LITHO1.0 global seismic model of the lithospheric density structure is used for this purpose, while considering that the lithosphere-asthenosphere boundary(LAB) is rheological, conventionally taken at the 1300C isotherm,above which the mantle behaves in a rigid fashion and below which it behaves in a ductile fashion.According to our result, the average density of the upper asthenosphere is roughly 3400 kg m-3. This density value closely agrees with the corresponding average value 3371 kg m-3 computed based on an empirical density model provided in the Preliminary Reference Earth Model(PREM), while using the LITHO1.0 LAB depth data. We also demonstrate that the sub-lithospheric mantle gravity map exhibits mainly a thermal signature. The most prominent features in this gravity map are mid-oceanic spearing ridges marked by gravity lows, while oceanic subductions in the West Pacific are characterized by the most pronounced gravity highs. 展开更多

The scaling law of divertor heat flux width is one of the key topics of magnetic confinement fusion,which is almost inversely proportional to the poloidal magnetic field on some opened divertor tokamaks.This work focuses on the scaling laws of the closed divertor heat flux width in the HL-2 A tokamak under different discharge conditions,such as the Ohmic,L-and H-modes.The results indicate that there are basic similarities of the scaling laws of the heat flux width between the opened and closed divertors.However,a larger spreading width in the private flux region is found,which is relevant to a small expansion factor of the magnetic flux in the closed divertor. 展开更多

Magnetohydrodynamic equilibrium schemes with toroidal plasma flows and scrape-off layer are developed for the'divertor-type'and'limiter-type'free boundaries in the tokamak cylindrical coordinate.With a toroidal plasma flow,the flux functions are considerably different under the isentropic and isothermal assumptions.The effects of the toroidal flow on the magnetic axis shift are investigated.In a high beta plasma,the magnetic shifts due to the toroidal flow are almost the same for both the isentropic and isothermal cases and are about 0.04a_(0)(a_(0)is the minor radius)for M_(0)=0.2(the toroidal Alfvén Mach number on the magnetic axis).In addition,the X-point is slightly shifted upward by 0.0125a_(0).But the magnetic axis and the X-point shift due to the toroidal flow may be neglected because M_(0) is usually less than 0.05 in a real tokamak.The effects of the toroidal flow on the plasma parameters are also investigated.The high toroidal flow shifts the plasma outward due to the centrifugal effect.Temperature profiles are noticeable different because the plasma temperature is a flux function in the isothermal case. 展开更多

Bisphenol A(BPA)has received increasing attention due to its long-term industrial application and persistence in environmental pollution.Iron-based carbon catalyst activation of peroxymonosulfate(PMS)shows a good prospect for effective elimination of recalcitrant contaminants in water.Herein,considering the problem about the leaching of iron ions and the optimization of heteroatoms doping,the iron,nitrogen and sulfur co-doped tremellalike carbon catalyst(Fe-NS@C)was rationally designed using very little iron,S-C_(3)N_(4) and low-cost chitosan(CS)via the impregnation-calcination method.The as-prepared Fe-NS@C exhibited excellent performance for complete removal of BPA(20 mg/L)by activating PMS with the high kinetic constant(1.492 min^(−1))in 15 min.Besides,the Fe-NS@C/PMS system not only possessed wide pH adaptation and high resistance to environmental interference,but also maintained an excellent degradation efficiency on different pollutants.Impressively,increased S-C_(3)N_(4) doping amount modulated the contents of different N species in Fe-NS@C,and the catalytic activity of Fe-NS@C-1-x was visibly enhanced with increasing SC_(3)N_(4) contents,verifying pyridine N and Fe-Nx as main active sites in the system.Meanwhile,thiophene sulfur(C-S-C)as active sites played an auxiliary role.Furthermore,quenching experiment,EPR analysis and electrochemical test proved that surface-bound radicals(·OH and SO_(4)^(·−))and non-radical pathways worked in the BPA degradation(the former played a dominant role).Finally,possible BPA degradation route were proposed.This work provided a promising way to synthesize the novel Fe,N and S co-doping carbon catalyst for degrading organic pollutants with low metal leaching and high catalytic ability. 展开更多

Fe-N co-doped coral-like hollow carbon shell (Fe-N-CS) was synthesized via a simply impregnation-pyrolysis method.The Fe-N-CS showed an excellent ability for activating peroxymonosulfate (PMS),which could degrade about 93.74%tetracycline (20 mg/L) in 12 min.The Fe-N-CS/PMS system exhibited a good anti-interference capacity of various pH,inorganic anions,HA and different water qualities.More importantly,the Fe nanoparticles were anchored uniformly in the carbon layer,effectively limiting the metal leaching.The quenching tests and electron spin resonance (ESR) manifested that non-radical singlet oxygen (1O_(2))was the main reactive oxygen species (ROS) for TC degradation.The mechanism study showed that Fe nanoparticles,defect and graphite N played a key role in activating PMS to produce ROS.Moreover,three probable degradation pathways were proposed by using LC-MS measurements.Generally,this work had a new insight for the synthesis of heterogeneous Fe-N-C catalysts in the advanced oxidation process based on PMS. 展开更多

Sulfide-modified nanoscale zero-valent iron(S-nZVI) is a promising material for removal of organic pollutants from water, but S-nZVI nanoparticles(NPs) easily agglomerate and have poor contact with organic contaminants.Herein, we propose a new S-nZVI/graphene aerogel(S-nZVI/GA) composite which exhibits superior removal capability for trichloroethylene(TCE) from water.Three-dimensional porous graphene aerogel(GA) can improve the efficiency of electron transport, enhance the adsorption of organic pollutants and restrain the agglomeration of the core-shell S-nZVI NPs.The TCE removal rates of Fe S, nZVI, GA and S-nZVI were 27.8%, 42%, 63% and 75% in 2 hr, respectively.Furthermore, TCE was completely removed within 50 min by S-nZVI/GA.The TCE removal rate increased with increasing p H and temperature, and TCE removal followed the pseudo-first-order kinetic model.The results demonstrate the great potential of S-nZVI/GA composite as a low-cost,easily separated and superior monolithic adsorbent for removal of organic pollutants. 展开更多

Recently,metal-based carbon materials have been verified to be an effective persulfate activator,but secondary pollution caused by metal leaching is inevitable.Hence,a green metalfree 3D macroscopic N-doped porous carbon nanosheets(NPCN)was synthesized successfully.The obtained NPCN showed high adsorption capacity of tetracycline(TC)and excellent persulfate(PS)activation ability,especially when calcined at 700℃(NPCN-700).The maximum adsorption capacity of NPCN-700 was 121.51 mg/g by H-bonds interactions.Moreover,the adsorption process followed pseudo-second-order kinetics model and Langmuir adsorption isotherm.The large specific surface area(365.27 mg/g)and hierarchical porous structure of NPCN-700 reduced the mass transfer resistance and increased the adsorption capacity.About 96.39%of TC was removed after adding PS.The effective adsorption of the catalyst greatly shortened the time for the target organic molecules to migrate to the catalyst.Moreover,the NPCN-700 demonstrated high reusability with the TC removal rate of 80.23%after 4 cycles.Quenching experiment and electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)test confirmed the non-radical mechanism dominated by ^(1)O_(2).More importantly,the C=O groups,defects and Graphitic N acted as active sites to generate ^(1)O_(2).Correspondingly,electrochemical measurement revealed the direct electron transfer pathway of TC degradation.Finally,multiple degradation intermediates were recognized by the LC-MS measurement and three possible degradation pathways were proposed.Overall,the prepared NPCN had excellent application prospects for removal of antibiotics due to its remarkable adsorption and catalytic degradation capabilities. 展开更多
