We demonstrate a Kerr-lens mode-locked Yb:Lu YSiO_(5)(Yb:LYSO)laser with the pulse duration of 54 fs,corresponding to a spectral bandwidth of 25 nm centered at 1062 nm.To the best of our knowledge,this is the shortest pulse duration obtained from Yb:LYSO laser.At the repetition rate of 378.3 MHz,an output power of 111.6 m W is obtained using an output coupler with 0.6%transmittance,which can maintain long-time stable mode-locking more than 13 h. 展开更多

Stable 68 fs pulses with the average power of 1.5 W is directly generated from a multimode diode-pumped Kerr-lens mode-locked Yb:CYA laser by separating the gain medium and Kerr medium. The repetition rate is about 50 MHz, resulting in a single pulse energy of 30 n J and a peak power of 0.44 MW. To the best of our knowledge, this is the highest single pulse energy ever produced from a mode-locked Yb:CYA oscillator. Our experimental results show that Yb:CYA crystal is an excellent candidate for multiwatt, sub-100 fs pulse generation in diode-pumped all-solid-state lasers. It is believed that the output power can be scalable to multi-W while the pulse duration is maintained with this simple method. 展开更多

The full width at half-maximum exceeds 146 nm, benefitting from the dispersion management by a combination of a low-dispersion fused silica prism pair and a series of double-chirped mirrors. We demonstrate a harmonically pumped femtosecond optical parametric oscillator(OPO)laser using a frequency-doubled mode-locked Yb:KGW laser at a repetition rate of 75.5 MHz as the pump laser.Based on a bismuth borate nonlinear crystal,repetition rates up to 1.13 GHz are realized,which is 15 times that of the pump laser.The signal wavelength is tunable from 700 nm to 887 nm.The maximum power of the signal is 207 m W at the central wavelength of 750 nm and the shortest pulse duration is 117 fs at 780 nm.The beam quality(M^2 factor)in the horizontal and vertical directions of the output beam are 1.077 and 1.141,respectively. 展开更多

To predict the Elasto-Plastic Behaviors(EPBs)of aligned inclusions reinforced composites,this paper develops an interpolative Mori-Tanaka/Double-Inclusion(MT-DI)homogenization model with the secant formulation,and gives the numerical implementation algorithms of the developed MT-DI model with the secant formulation.The Finite Element(FE)homogenization method is implemented to provide the "exact" EPBs of the composites and thus validate the MT-DI model with the secant formulation.The MT-DI model with the 2 nd-order secant formulation is validated to provide the more accurate predictions,while the MT-DI model with the 1 st-order secant formulation always gives the stiffer predictions.The results show that using the macro-stress and macrostrain as the inputs,the MT-DI model with the secant formulation gives the identical predictions.The predictions of the MT-DI model with the secant formulation vary between those of the MT and DI models with the secant formulation.Meanwhile,the MT-DI model with the secant formulation does not predict the accurate EPBs for the phases of the composites. 展开更多
