The incorporation of the quasicrystalline phase into the metal matrix offers a wide range of potential applications in particle-reinforced metal-matrix composites.The analytic solution of the piezoelectric quasicrystal(QC)microsphere considering the thermoelectric effect and surface effect contained in the elastic matrix is presented in this study.The governing equations for the QC microsphere in the matrix subject to the external electric loading are derived based on the nonlocal elastic theory,electro-elastic interface theory,and eigenvalue method.A comparison between the existing results and the finite-element simulation validates the present approach.Numerical examples reveal the effects of temperature variation,nonlocal parameters,surface properties,elastic coefficients,and phason coefficients on the phonon,phason,and electric fields.The results indicate that the QC microsphere enhances the mechanical properties of the matrix.The results are useful for the design and understanding of the characterization of QCs in micro-structures. 展开更多

Human pose estimation has received significant attention recently due to its various applications in the real world. As the performance of the state-of-the-art human pose estimation methods can be improved by deep learning, this paper presents a comprehensive survey of deep learning based human pose estimation methods and analyzes the methodologies employed. We summarize and discuss recent works with a methodologybased taxonomy. Single-person and multi-person pipelines are first reviewed separately. Then, the deep learning techniques applied in these pipelines are compared and analyzed. The datasets and metrics used in this task are also discussed and compared. The aim of this survey is to make every step in the estimation pipelines interpretable and to provide readers a readily comprehensible explanation. Moreover, the unsolved problems and challenges for future research are discussed. 展开更多

We prepared porous Fe-doped nickel cobaltate(Fe-NiCo_(2)O_(4))hollow hierarchical nanospheres through a facile self-templated synthetic strategy.Due to the porous hollow structure and composition,the Fe-NiCo_(2)O_(4)presented vastly superior electrocatalytic activity for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER),compared with NiCo_(2)O_(4)and the majority of other OER catalysts.With an aim of stimulating a current density of 10 mA$cm-2,the Fe-NiCo_(2)O_(4)catalyst needs an overpotential of 210 mV,which is on a par with the general properties of commercial IrO2.In addition,the Fe-NiCo_(2)O_(4)catalyst performed stably in long-term testing.The excellent activity and long-term stability showed that such catalysts have great promise for widespread application in the field of water splitting. 展开更多
