Grouting defects are an inherent challenge in construction practices,exerting a considerable impact on the operational structural integrity of connections.This investigation employed the impact-echo technique for the ...Grouting defects are an inherent challenge in construction practices,exerting a considerable impact on the operational structural integrity of connections.This investigation employed the impact-echo technique for the detection of grouting anomalies within connections,enhancing its precision through the integration of wavelet packet energy principles for damage identification purposes.A series of grouting completeness assessments were meticulously conducted,taking into account variables such as the divergent material properties of the sleeves and the configuration of adjacent reinforcement.The findings revealed that:(i)the energy distribution for the highstrength concrete cohort predominantly occupied the frequency bands 42,44,45,and 47,whereas for other groups,it was concentrated within the 37 to 40 frequency band;(ii)the delineation of empty sleeves was effectively discernible by examining the wavelet packet energy ratios across the spectrum of frequencies,albeit distinguishing between sleeves with 50%and full grouting density proved challenging;and(iii)the wavelet packet energy analysis yielded variable detection outcomes contingent on the material attributes of the sleeves,demonstrating heightened sensitivity when applied to ultrahigh-performance concrete matrices and GFRP-reinforced steel bars.展开更多

However, w...The stable spectrum can be obtained when the voltage changes, which is a necessary condition for the white organic light emitting diode (WOLED) device to be widely used in the field of solid-state lighting. However, with the increase of voltage, the movement of the recombination zone (RZ) is inevitable because the perfect bipolar host material is difficult to obtain, which will redistribute the energy in the light emitting layer (EML) and affect the stability of the spectrum. We fabricate a series of ternary hybrid WOLEDs with a simple structure by inserting ultra-thin PO-T2T into the blue exciplex (TCTA:TPBi) to form the green interface exciplex. Without considering the movement of RZ, device B2 realizes the dynamic balance energy distribution in EML and stable spectrum by controlling two processes of the Dexter energy transfer and exciton capture. By modifying the doping ratio of the host material, we also find that the broadened RZ is helpful to further improve the spectral stability of the device. When the voltage changes from 3 V to 7 V, the change range of color coordinates is only (0.026, 0.025).展开更多

Th...The color-tunable white organic light-emitting diode (CT-WOLED) with wide correlation color temperature (CCT) has many advantages in optimizing the artificial light source to adapt to the human physiological cycle. The research on the change trend of CCT and the law of extending the change range of CCT will help to further improve the performance of this kind of device. The present work fabricated a series of CT-WOLED devices with a simple structure, which are all composed of two ultra-thin phosphor layers (PO-01 and Flrpic) and a spacer interlayer. The yellow interface exciplex (TCTA/PO-T2T) formed between the spacer layer (PO-T2T) and transmission material (TCTA) in EML will decrease the CCT value at low voltage. The relationship between the energy transfer in EML and CCT change trend is investigated by adjusting the interface exciplexes and the thickness of the interlayer or the phosphor layer in devices A, B and C, respectively. The results demonstrate that a simple OLED device with an interlayer inserted between two ultra-thin phosphor layers can achieve a wider CCT span from 3359 K to 6451 K at voltage increases from 2.75 V to 8.25 V. .展开更多
The economic alga Neopyropia,which holds significant value in China for its edibility and economic potential,harbors diverse epiphytic bacteria on its surface.The epiphytic bacteria on Neopyropia yezoensis and Neopyro...The economic alga Neopyropia,which holds significant value in China for its edibility and economic potential,harbors diverse epiphytic bacteria on its surface.The epiphytic bacteria on Neopyropia yezoensis and Neopyropia katadae,two nori species of Neopyropia living at the same tidal level but with distinct physiological states and living habits,were investigated to understand the differences between them and the effects of epiphytic bacteria on their differential characteristics.Analysis of 16S rRNA gene sequences and real-time quantitative PCR(qPCR)of thalli and seawater samples(n=24)revealed notable differences in microbial diversity and community structure between the two species.Bacteroidetes dominated the bacterial communities in association with N.yezoensis,whereas Proteobacteria were predominant in N.katadae.Phylogenetic Investigation of Communities by Reconstruction of Unobserved States(PICRUSt2)analysis revealed enriched genes that related to the ABC transport system,iron complex outer membrane receptor proteins,and proliferation in N.yezoensis,whereas N.katadae exhibited enrichment of genes that related to energy supply as well as cell wall and cell membrane production.The results of qPCR indicate a higher abundance of epiphytic bacteria on surface of N.yezoensis than those on surface of N.katadae.The findings indicate that differences in the living environments of N.yezoensis and N.katadae may result in distinct structural composition and abundance of epiphytic bacteria on their surfaces,thereby conferring specific biological functionalities to each microbial community,and the epiphytic bacteria may shape the living habits of hosts to some extents.This study provided a basis for understanding the close association between surface microorganisms and algal bodies,and the physiological and ecological characteristics of nori species.展开更多
Physical-layer security issues in wireless systems have attracted great attention.In this paper,we investigate the spectrum anti-jamming(AJ)problem for data transmissions between devices.Considering fast-changing phys...Physical-layer security issues in wireless systems have attracted great attention.In this paper,we investigate the spectrum anti-jamming(AJ)problem for data transmissions between devices.Considering fast-changing physical-layer jamming attacks in the time/frequency domain,frequency resources have to be configured for devices in advance with unknown jamming patterns(i.e.the time-frequency distribution of the jamming signals)to avoid jamming signals emitted by malicious devices.This process can be formulated as a Markov decision process and solved by reinforcement learning(RL).Unfortunately,stateof-the-art RL methods may put pressure on the system which has limited computing resources.As a result,we propose a novel RL,by integrating the asynchronous advantage actor-critic(A3C)approach with the kernel method to learn a flexible frequency pre-configuration policy.Moreover,in the presence of time-varying jamming patterns,the traditional AJ strategy can not adapt to the dynamic interference strategy.To handle this issue,we design a kernelbased feature transfer learning method to adjust the structure of the policy function online.Simulation results reveal that our proposed approach can significantly outperform various baselines,in terms of the average normalized throughput and the convergence speed of policy learning.展开更多
In order to ensure the normal operation of radio astronomy observations,an extremely sensitive receiver system needs to be equipped in front of the large radio telescope.An 8-pole wideband high-temperature superconduc...In order to ensure the normal operation of radio astronomy observations,an extremely sensitive receiver system needs to be equipped in front of the large radio telescope.An 8-pole wideband high-temperature superconducting(HTS)filter using a Coplanar Spiral Resonator Structure with a passband of 1160~1670 MHz is developed to suppress strong radio interference.The filter is fabricated on a 36 mm×14 mm YBCO HTS film,which is deposited on a 0.5 mm thick MgO substrate.The minimum insertion loss measured in the liquid nitrogen temperature region is 0.03 dB,and the first parasitic passband appears at 2600 MHz.The measured results are in good agreement with the simulations.The filter can be used in radio telescope receivers for the observation of neutral hydrogen and pulsars,as well as in high-sensitivity satellite navigation instruments.展开更多
Objective: Colorectal cancer(CRC) causes a substantial burden of disease in China and the evidence of economic burden triggered is fundamental for priority setting. The aim of this survey was to quantify medical expen...Objective: Colorectal cancer(CRC) causes a substantial burden of disease in China and the evidence of economic burden triggered is fundamental for priority setting. The aim of this survey was to quantify medical expenditures and the time trends for CRC diagnosis and treatment in China.Methods: From 2012 to 2014, a hospital-based multicenter retrospective survey was conducted in 13 provinces across China. For each eligible CRC patient diagnosed from 2002 to 2011, clinical information and expenditure data were extracted using a uniform questionnaire. All expenditure data were reported in Chinese Yuan(CNY)using 2011 values.Results: Of the 14,536 CRC patients included, the average age at diagnosis was 58.2 years and 15.8% were stageI cases. The average medical expenditure per patient was estimated at 37,902 CNY [95 % confidence interval(95%CI): 37,282-38,522], and the annual average increase rate was 9.2% from 2002 to 2011(P for trend <0.001), with a cumulative increase of 2.4 times(from 23,275 CNY to 56,010 CNY). The expenditure per patient in stages Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ and Ⅳ were 31,698 CNY, 37,067 CNY, 38,918 CNY and 42,614 CNY, respectively(P<0.001). Expenditure significantly differed within various subgroups. Expenses for drugs contributed the largest proportion(52.6%).Conclusions: These conservative estimates illustrated that medical expenditures for CRC diagnosis and treatment in tertiary hospitals in China were substantial and increased rapidly over the 10 years, with drugs continually being the main expense by 2011. Relatively, medical expenditures are lower for CRC in the earlier stages. These findings will facilitate the economic evaluation of CRC prevention and control in China.展开更多

Bovine mammary epithelium and polymorphonuclear leukocytes(PMNL) can actively respond to bovine mastitis infection. However, regulatory effects of TTO extracts on the innate immune response of bovine mammary epithelial cells(BMECs) and PMNL remain not reported. Therefore, aim of the study was to evaluate the effects of TTO extracts on the m RNA levels of the genes involved in the innate immune response of BMECs and PMNL.Results: Our results demonstrated that addition of 0.025% and 0.05% TTO increased the proliferation of BMECs, and significantly enhanced(P < 0.05) the viability of BMECs exposed to Staphylococcus aureus(S. aureus). An inhibitory effect was observed against the growth of S. aureus by TTO incubation. The 0.05% TTO reduced S. aureus biofilm formation, association and invasion of S. aureus to BMECs, and changed the morphological and structural features of S. aureus. The proinflammatory cytokines IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α were decreased(P < 0.001) by the incubation of TTO. Interestingly, the expression of IL-8 known for PMNL chemotactic function was elevated(P < 0.05) by 0.05%TTO treatment. Consistently, 0.05% TTO increased the migration of PMNL in S. aureus-exposed BMECs when compared with S. aureus treatment alone(P < 0.05). In addition, PMNL incubated with 0.05% TTO decreased the levels of NFKB inhibitor alpha(NFKBIA) and TNF-α.Conclusions: Our results indicate that use of TTO can relieve the BMECs pro-inflammatory response caused by S.aureus and promote the migration of PMNL to mount the innate immune responses, and it may be novel strategy for the treatment of bovine mastitis caused by S. aureus.展开更多
In this work,a new innovative absorption system containing both thiourea dioxide(TD)and FeⅡEDTA was used to NO removal.The independently influences of O2 volume concentration,TD concentration,original p H value and a...In this work,a new innovative absorption system containing both thiourea dioxide(TD)and FeⅡEDTA was used to NO removal.The independently influences of O2 volume concentration,TD concentration,original p H value and absorbent temperature on NO removal in bubbling device were examined preliminarily.The results revealed that the NO removal efficiency firstly increased and then decreased with the increasing of the three independent variables(O2 volume concentration,TD concentration and temperature).However,the NO removal efficiency monotonously increased to some extent with p H value increasing from 6.5 to 10.5.In addition,the respective effects of the four variables and the interactive function of them on NO removal were checked with the response surface methodology(RSM)by central composite design(CCD).The calculative model showed that pH value possessed a main positive independent impact on NO removal.Furthermore,the interactive effects between any two factors were expounded by the 3D surface and counter plots.Finally,the optimum absorption conditions for the maximum NO removal at 94.3%experimentally and 95.8%statistically were obtained in O2 volume content of 6.0%,TD concentration of 0.02 mol·L^-1,original p H value of 10.5 and absorption temperature of 42℃.展开更多
Combustion of herb residues(HRs)for heat recovery is a good way for their utilization,but there exists such a problem as high concentration NOx emission in flue gas.The alcohol extracted herb residue(AEHR),one special...Combustion of herb residues(HRs)for heat recovery is a good way for their utilization,but there exists such a problem as high concentration NOx emission in flue gas.The alcohol extracted herb residue(AEHR),one special type of HRs,was chosen as the object and was subjected to immediate combustion in a fluidized bed reactor to investigate the characteristics of its resulting NOx emission.The results showed that,most of the NOx in the flue gas was produced from the char nitrogen(C-N);as the fuel water content increased,the NOx emission concentration exhibited a trend of first decreasing and then increasing;and a properly low combustion temperature inhibited the NOx emission upon the premise of ensuring full combustion.Air staging combustion was adopted to effectively control NOx:the NOx emission concentration in the flue gas was reduced to 296 mg⋅m3 and the NOx emission reduction rate reached 46.51%compared to conventional combustion.Co-combustion by blending wasted activated coke(WAC)into the AEHR helped both stabilize the combustion state and reduce further the NOx emission.When the blending ratio of WAC fell within a proper range of 20-30%,the NOx emission concentration in the flue gas was as low as 231.4 mg⋅m3.In addition to the dilution effect of the combustion flue gas of the blended WAC,the local reducing atmosphere caused by its incomplete combustion as well as its strong absorbability and catalytical effect was accountable for the further decrease of the NOx emission concentration.展开更多

Interestingly, the expression of IL-8 known for PMNL chemotactic function was elevated(P < 0.05) by 0.05%TTO treatment. Consistently, 0.05% TTO increased the migration of PMNL in S. aureus-exposed BMECs when compared with S. aureus treatment alone(P < 0.05). In addition, PMNL incubated with 0.05% TTO decreased the levels of NFKB inhibitor alpha(NFKBIA) and TNF-α.Conclusions: Our results indicate that use of TTO can relieve the BMECs pro-inflammatory response caused by S.aureus and promote the migration of PMNL to mount the innate immune responses, and it may be novel strategy for the treatment of bovine mastitis caused by S. aureus.

文摘In this work,a new innovative absorption system containing both thiourea dioxide(TD)and FeⅡEDTA was used to NO removal.The independently influences of O2 volume concentration,TD concentration,original p H value and absorbent temperature on NO removal in bubbling device were examined preliminarily.The results revealed that the NO removal efficiency firstly increased and then decreased with the increasing of the three independent variables(O2 volume concentration,TD concentration and temperature).However,the NO removal efficiency monotonously increased to some extent with p H value increasing from 6.5 to 10.5.In addition,the respective effects of the four variables and the interactive function of them on NO removal were checked with the response surface methodology(RSM)by central composite design(CCD).The calculative model showed that pH value possessed a main positive independent impact on NO removal.Furthermore,the interactive effects between any two factors were expounded by the 3D surface and counter plots.Finally,the optimum absorption conditions for the maximum NO removal at 94.3%experimentally and 95.8%statistically were obtained in O2 volume content of 6.0%,TD concentration of 0.02 mol·L^-1,original p H value of 10.5 and absorption temperature of 42℃.

文摘Combustion of herb residues(HRs)for heat recovery is a good way for their utilization,but there exists such a problem as high concentration NOx emission in flue gas.The alcohol extracted herb residue(AEHR),one special type of HRs,was chosen as the object and was subjected to immediate combustion in a fluidized bed reactor to investigate the characteristics of its resulting NOx emission.The results showed that,most of the NOx in the flue gas was produced from the char nitrogen(C-N);as the fuel water content increased,the NOx emission concentration exhibited a trend of first decreasing and then increasing;and a properly low combustion temperature inhibited the NOx emission upon the premise of ensuring full combustion.Air staging combustion was adopted to effectively control NOx:the NOx emission concentration in the flue gas was reduced to 296 mg⋅m3 and the NOx emission reduction rate reached 46.51%compared to conventional combustion.Co-combustion by blending wasted activated coke(WAC)into the AEHR helped both stabilize the combustion state and reduce further the NOx emission.When the blending ratio of WAC fell within a proper range of 20-30%,the NOx emission concentration in the flue gas was as low as 231.4 mg⋅m3.In addition to the dilution effect of the combustion flue gas of the blended WAC,the local reducing atmosphere caused by its incomplete combustion as well as its strong absorbability and catalytical effect was accountable for the further decrease of the NOx emission concentration.
文摘Dear Editor, Endocytosis is a crucial process employed by cells to internal- ize nutrients and turnover membrane components and is essential for many functions, including nutrient uptake, signal transduction, cytokinesis, morphogenesis, cell adhesion and migration. Endocytosis is classified as clathrin-dependent endocytosis (CDE) or clathrin-independent endocytosis (CIE) according to its dependence on clathrin. Several different CIE pathways have been proposed, including caveolin-dependent endocytosis, flotillin-dependent endocytosis, the clathrin-inde- pendent carrier pathway, ARF6-dependent endocytosis, phagocytosis, macropinocytosis, the IL2RI3 pathway (Doherty and McMahon, 2009), the newly identified fast endophilin-me- diated endocytosis pathway (Boucrot et al., 2015) and the EGFR-NCE pathway (Caldieri et al., 2017).
