Based on data drawn from a thirteen-city public opinion survey in 2008, this study indicates that a majority of the surveyed respondents, especially those in urban China, had positive attitudes toward liberal internationalism, economic internationalism, and nationalism. Meanwhile, this study concludes that continued economic development and the resulting expansion of higher education have produced two contradictory trends.展开更多
