目的该研究旨在分析食管内异物住院患者的临床特征、手术方法、相关的并发症、术后住院时间以及多科协作的优势。方法回顾性分析71例食管内异物住院患者,将患者分为两组(A组,误食异物24 h内得到有效治疗;B组,误食异物超过24 h得到有效治... 目的该研究旨在分析食管内异物住院患者的临床特征、手术方法、相关的并发症、术后住院时间以及多科协作的优势。方法回顾性分析71例食管内异物住院患者,将患者分为两组(A组,误食异物24 h内得到有效治疗;B组,误食异物超过24 h得到有效治疗)。比较两组患者的病历资料、食道异物的种类、并发症和术后住院时间方面的差异。结果最常见的异物为枣核、动物骨头和鱼骨。食管上段异物常见,其中A组比B组更常见。两组间的并发症发生率和术后住院时间存在明显差异。B组患者并发症发生率高,术后住院时间长,多科协作治疗能给患者提供更合适的治疗方法。结论大多数食管内异物能在内镜下取出,24 h内有效的治疗能减少并发症和缩短术后住院时间,消化内科、耳鼻喉科及胸外科多科协作能给患者提供有效安全的治疗。 展开更多

Acute focal cerebral ischemic stroke(IS)is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide.Acupuncture is an emerging alternative therapy that has been beneficial to acute brain ischemia.However,the underlying protective mechanism of its neuroprotective effect remains unclear.Human original circadian rhythm will be lost after IS,which seriously affects the quality of life and functional recovery of stroke patients.We hypothesize that acupuncture treats IS by regulating the balance of Clock and Bmal1.This study aims to explore the effect of acupuncture at acupoints GV20 and BL23 on neuroprotection and anti-apoptosis in middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO)rats and expression of apoptosis and circadian rhythm related proteins.Male Sprague-Dawley(SD)rats were randomly divided into five groups:normal group(Normal),sham model group(Sham MCAO),MCAO model group(MCAO),sham electroacupuncture group(Sham EA)and electroacupuncture group(EA).The MCAO model was prepared by electrocoagulation.The first acupuncture treatment was performed within 2 h after surgery,and then acupuncture therapy was performed on 1st day,2nd day and 3rd day respectively.After their neurological examination at 72 h of ischemia,the rats from each group were sacrificed.Triphenyltetrazolium chloride(TTC)staining was used to evaluate the brain infarct size.Ultrastructural observation on cerebral ischemic cortex and serum inflammatory cytokines were evaluated.TUNEL staining was used to detect cell apoptosis of brain tissue.The expression levels of proteins Bax,bcl-2,caspase-3,Clock and Bmal1 in the cerebral ischemic region were detected by immunofluorescence staining.Here,we presented evidence that EA at GV20 and BL23 could significantly improve the neurological deficit score and infarct size,and alleviate the cell apoptosis of brain tissue.Moreover,acupuncture treatment upregulated the anti-apoptotic Bcl-2/Bax ratio and reversed the upregulation of caspase-3 following 72-h cerebral ischemia.In addition,the expression levels of circadian proteins Clock and Bmal1 were upregulated in EA group while compared with MCAO group.Our study demonstrated that acupuncture exerted neuroprotective effect against neuronal apoptosis after stroke and the mechanism might be related with regulation of circadian rhythm proteins Clock and Bmal1. 展开更多

Clinical feature and predictive factor analysis for spontaneous regression of retinopathy of prematurity in a Chinese population 被引量:2

AIM:To investigate the ratio of spontaneous regression of retinopathy of prematurity(ROP)and to explore the possible relevant predictive factors.METHODS:A retrospective review of 405 infants who were diagnosed with ROP and mother during pregnancy were collected.Stage,zone,and duration of ROP were recorded.Statistical analysis was performed on 51 possible predictive factors.RESULTS:Totally 356 infants showed spontaneous regression.The incidence was 100%,95.3%,and 22.7%in stage 1,2,and 3,respectively.The 13.4%of the ROP with plus disease eventually resolved spontaneously.All affected eyes of aggressive posterior retinopathy of prematurity(APROP)failed to spontaneously regress.The mean duration of ROP was 7.2wk in patients with spontaneous resolution of ROP.Days of mechanical ventilation(OR=0.981,95%CI,0.965-0.997,P=0.021),retinal hemorrhage(OR=0.173,95%CI,0.064-0.470,P=0.001),delivery pattern(OR=2.750,95%CI,1.132-6.681,P=0.025),maternal anemia in pregnancy(OR=0.142,95%CI,0.036-0.563,P=0.005),the stages(at initial diagnosis OR=0.183,95%CI,0.041-0.816,P=0.026;at final diagnosis OR=0.031,95%CI,0.006-0.167,P<0.001),and with plus disease or not(OR=0.005,95%CI,0.001-0.031,P<0.001)were independent predictive factors of the spontaneous regression of ROP.CONCLUSION:Most mild ROP can spontaneously resolve.Active treatment is still recommended for stage 3 ROP,zone I ROP,AP-ROP,and ROP with plus disease.Prolonged mechanical ventilation and concurrent retinal hemorrhage reduce the likelihood of spontaneous ROP resolution.The pattern of delivery and the mother's anemia during pregnancy can also affect the prognosis of ROP. 展开更多

AIM:To investigate therapeutic effects of traditional Chinese medicine formulations,Hexuemingmu(HXMM)on laser-induced choroidal neovascularization(CNV)and followup effect in mice.METHODS:C57 BL/6 mice of 8-week-old were used and CNV was induced with 577 nm laser photocoagulation.Animals were randomly divided into groups and different doses of HXMM were administered daily.One,four,and eight weeks after the intervention,the electroretinogram(ERG),fundus fluorescence angiography,choroidal flat mount and immunofluorescence staining were preformed to evaluate the function and CNV formation.The expression levels of angiogenic proteins were determined by Western blotting and immunofluorescence staining.An analysis of variance and Kruskal-Wallis test were used to test the differences among the groups.RESULTS:The results showed that HXMM effectively increased amplitude of ERG of mice(P<0.05),alleviated fundus CNV leakage(P<0.05),and reduced the area of neovascularization and the expression of angiogenic proteins(P<0.05)after laser-induced CNV.CONCLUSION:HXMM can protect the retinal function of mice after laser-induced CNV,and inhibit the CNV development. 展开更多

BACKGROUND The choice of anesthesia for cesarean section is very important.AIM To compare the effects of applying bupivacaine combined with different doses of fentanyl on newborns after cesarean section.METHODS We randomly divided one hundred and twenty patients undergoing cesarean section into the following 4 groups:group B(bupivacaine group),group BF10(bupivacaine combined with 10μg fentanyl),group BF30(bupivacaine combined with 30μg fentanyl)and group BF50(bupivacaine combined with 50μg fentanyl).The heart rate,mean arterial pressure,block plane fixation time and sensory block time were recorded.Umbilical artery blood was then collected immediately after fetal delivery for blood gas analysis and qualitative detection of fentanyl.Additionally,data on the neonatal 1-min and 5-min Apgar scores,results of umbilical artery blood gas analysis and qualitative detection of fentanyl in umbilical artery blood were recorded.RESULTS Although the mean arterial pressure decreased in all four groups at 3 min after anesthesia,the percentage of the decrease was less than 20%of the baseline.In addition,there were no significant differences in the 1-min or 5-min Apgar scores or the umbilical artery blood gas analysis among the four groups(P>0.05).Moreover,the concentration of fentanyl in umbilical artery blood was qualitatively detected using an ELISA kit,and the results in the four groups were negative.CONCLUSION Bupivacaine combined with fentanyl spinal anesthesia is effective in cesarean section. 展开更多

AIM:To explore the effects of laser-activated remote phosphors(LARP)on visual function in guinea pigs.METHODS:Electroretinogram(ERG)of guinea pigs were observed after LARP irradiation at different frequencies and irradiation times.We evaluated the expression of rhodopsin,β-catenin,connexin36,calretinin,and calbindin in the retina of guinea pigs and measured the density of photoreceptor cells after high-frequency LARP irradiation.RESULTS:After LARP irradiation,the ERG results showed that the amplitude of the dark-adapted 3.0 b-wave of the model eye was lower than that of the control eye after high-frequency irradiation(P<0.05).The expression of rhodopsin,β-catenin,connexin36,calretinin,and calbindin in the retina of guinea pig declined.CONCLUSION:There is frequency cumulative damage effect on the retina that relates to LARP illumination frequency.This has significance for staff visual protection policies under LARP lighting conditions. 展开更多

The elastic scattering angular distributions of ^(13)C at 340 MeV and ^(14)C at 294 MeV and 342 MeV on a ^(208)Pb target,which correspond to approximately five times the Coulomb barriers,were measured at the Radioactive Ion Beam Line in Lanzhou.The data were analyzed within the optical model and continuum-discretized coupled-channels(CDCC)framework,and the results of both calculations could effectively account for the experimental data.The differential cross sections of elastic scattering revealed no particular suppression at the Coulomb nuclear interference peak angles,suggesting that the breakup coupling effects on the elastic scattering angular distributions were negligibly small in this incident energy region.The contributions from the couplings with inelastic states to the elastic cross sections were of minor importance within the angular range covered by these experiments. 展开更多

Background:Aedes albopictus is among the 100 most invasive species worldwide and poses a major risk to public health.Photoperiodic diapause provides a crucial ecological basis for the adaptation of this species to adverse environments.Ae.albopictus is the vital vector transmitting dengue virus in Guangzhou,but its diapause activities herein remain obscure.Methods:In the laboratory,yeast powder and food slurry were compared for a proper diapause determination method,and the critical photoperiod(CPP)was tested at illumination times of 11,11.5,12,12.5,13,and 13.5 h.A 4-parameter logistic(4PL)regression model was selected to estimate the CPP.In the field,the seasonal dynamics of the Ae.albopictus population,egg diapause,and hatching of overwintering eggs were investigated monthly,weekly,and daily,respectively.A distributed lag non-linear model(DLNM)was used to assess the associations of diapause with meteorological factors.Results:In the laboratory,both the wild population and the Foshan strain of Ae.albopictus were induced to diapause at an incidence greater than 80%,and no significant difference(P>0.1)was observed between the two methods for identifying diapause.The CPP of this population was estimated to be 12.312 h of light.In the field,all of the indexes of the wild population were at the lowest levels from December to February,and the Route Index was the first to increase in March.Diapause incidence displayed pronounced seasonal dynamics.It was estimated that the day lengths of 12.111 h at week2016,43 and 12.373 h at week2017,41 contributed to diapause in 50%of the eggs.Day length was estimated to be the main meteorological factor related to diapause.Conclusions:Photoperiodic diapause of Ae.albopictus in Guangzhou of China was confirmed and comprehensively elucidated in both the laboratory and the field.Diapause eggs are the main form for overwintering and begin to hatch in large quantities in March in Guangzhou.Furthermore,this study also established an optimized investigation system and statistical models for the study of Ae.albopictus diapause.These findings will contribute to the prevention and control of Ae.albopictus and mosquito-borne diseases. 展开更多

In recent years, extensive short-lived nuclear mass measurements have been carried out at the Heavy- Ion Research Facility (HIRFL) in Lanzhou using Isochronous Mass Spectrometry (IMS). The obtained mass values have been successfully applied to nuclear structure and astrophysics studies. In this contribution, we give a brief introduction to the nuclear mass measurements at HIRFL-CSR facility. Main technical developments are described and recent results are summarized. Furthermore, we envision the future perspective for the next-generation storage ring facility HIAF in Huizhou. 展开更多

Objective: To observe the differences in analgesic effect of moxibustion at different intervention times on dysmenorrhea rats and explore its effect mechanism.Methods: Forty-five female Wistar rats were randomly divided into blank control group(group A), model group(group B), pre-moxibustion group(group C), instant moxibustion group(group D) and pre-instant moxibustion group(group E),with 9 rats in each group. Cold-damp coagulation and stagnation type dysmenorrhea models were established. In group C,mild moxibustion on "Shenque(神阙 CV 8) " and"Guanyuan(关元 CV 4)" was carried out from the time after modeling on the 8 th day for 3 consecutive days. In group D, mild moxibustion was given as the same methods with group C after injection with oxytocin on the 11 th day. In group E, mild moxibustion was given as the same methods from the time after modeling on the 8 th day to that after injection with oxytocin on the 11 th day for 4 consecutive days. The writhing behavior and the changes in levels of ET-1 and NO in uterine tissues of rats with dysmenorrhea in each group were observed.Results: Comparison of the latent period: compared with(4.38 ± 1.06) min in group B,the latent period of rats in group C(9.67 ± 1.32) min,group D(11.78 ± 1.30) min and group E(15.00 ± 1.22) min obviously prolonged(all p 0.01). Compared with group C, the latent period of group E obviously prolonged(p 0.01). Compared with group D, the latent period of group E obviously prolonged(p 0.01).Comparison of the writhing times: compared with(4.38 ± 1.06) in group B,the writhing times of rats in group C(9.67 ± 1.32),group D(11.78 ± 1.30) and group E(15.00 ± 1.22) reduced(all p 0.01). Compared with group C,the writhing times of rats in group D and group E reduced(both p 0.01). Compared with group D, the writhing times in group E reduced(p 0.05). Comparison of the total writhing score:compared with(4.38 ± 1.06) in group B,the total writhing score of rats in group C(9.67±1.32),group D(11.78 ± 1.30) and group E(15.00 ± 1.22) decreased(all p 0.01). Compared with group C,the total writhing score of rats in group D and group E decreased(both p 0.01). Compared with group D,the total writhing score of rats in group E decreased(p 0.05). Comparison of ET-1 level: compared with(4.80 ± 0.47) in group A,the ET-1 level in uterine tissues of rats in group B(7.57±0.69) significantly increased(P 0.01). Compared with group B, the ET-1 level in uterine tissues of rats in group C(6.20 ±0.50),group D(5.67 ±0.29) and group E(5.16±0.33) obviously decreased(all p 0.01). Compared with group C, the ET-1 level in uterine tissues of rats in group D and group E obviously decreased(p 0.05, p 0.01). Compared with group D, the ET-1 level in uterine tissues of rats in group Eobviously decreased(p 0.05). Comparison of NO level: compared with(6.63±1.83) in group A, the NO level in uterine tissues of rats in group B(1.62 ±0.58) significantly decreased(p 0.01). Compared with group B, the NO level in uterine tissues of rats in group C(3.60±0.59),group D(4.77 ±0.67) and group E(5.99±0.63) obviously increased(all p 0.01). Compared with group C,the NO level in uterine tissues of rats in group Dand group E obviously increased(p 0.05, p 0.01). Compared with group D, the NO level in uterine tissues of rats in group E obviously increased(p 0.01).Conclusion: The analgesic effect of mild moxibustion at different intervention times on cold-damp coagulation and stagnation type dysmenorrhea rats was different, which was the most significant in pre-instant moxibustion group. After osteodistraction of the dght mandible of all experimental rabbits, rabbits in group A were treated with ADSCs transfected with pEGFP-OSX, group B with ADSCs transfected with pEGFP-N1, and group C with physiological saline. Radiographic and histological examinations were processed after half of the animals within each group were humanely killed by injection of sodium pentothal at Week 2 or 6 after surgery. The distraction bone density was measured as its projectional bone mineral density (BMD). Three parameters were measured, namely, the thickness of new trabeculae (TNT), and the volumes of the newly generated cortical bone (NBV1) and the cancellous bone (NBV2) of the distracted regions. Good bone generation in the distraction areas was found in group A, which had the highest BMD, TNT, and NBV in the distraction zones among the groups. There was no significant difference in bone generation in the distraction areas between groups B and C. The results indicate that the transplantation of ADSCs transfected with pEGFP-OSX can effectively promote bone generation during distraction in vivo. 展开更多

The level structure in neutron-deficient nucleus 91Ru was investigated via the 58Ni(36Ar,2 plnγ)Ru reaction at a beam energy of 111 MeV.Charged particles,neutrons,and y-rays were emitted in this reaction and detected by the DIAMANT CsI ball,Neutron Wall,and the EXOGAM Ge clover array,respectively.In addition to the previously reported levels in 91Ru,new low-to-medium spin states were observed.Angular correlation and linear polarization measurements were performed to unambiguously determine spins and parities of the excited states in 91 Ru.The low-spin states of 91 Ru exhibit a scheme of multi-quasiparticle excitations,which is very similar to that of the neighboring N=47 isotone.These excitations have been interpreted in terms of the shell model.The calculations performed in the configuration space(p3/2,f5/2,p1/2,g9/2)reproduce the experimental excitation energies reasonably well,supporting the interpretation of the newly assigned positive-parity states in terms of the three quasiparticle configurationsπ(g9/2)^-2v(g9/2^-1 and v(g9/2)^-3. 展开更多

Background:Dengue is a re-emerging public health problem and mosquito-borne infectious disease that is transmitted mainly by A edes aegypti and Ae.albopictus.Early diagnosis,isolation,and treatment of patients are critical steps for dengue epidemic control,especially to prevent secondary transmission of dengue virus(DENV).However,little is known about defervescent dengue patients as a source of infection.Methods:This case study describes 1268 dengue patients hospitalized at Guangzhou Eighth People's Hospital from June 2013 to December 2014.The viral loads of each individual were measured using real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction.Ae.aegypti and Ae.albopictus were exposed to blood meal with gradated dengue viral loads to characterize the relationship between viremia in dengue patients and the vector competence of vector mosquitoes.Results:The viral numbers in the blood were measured,ranging from 108 to 103 copies/ml from day 1 to day 12 after fever onset Vector competence analysis o fA e.aegypti and Ae.albopictus indicated that viremia>104 copies/ml can still infect vector mosquitoes,which implied that the defervescent dengue patients might be a source of infection.Conclusions:The results of this study indicate that some defervescent dengue patients still have sufficient viral load to infect vector mosquitoes.Therefore,the protection against mosquito biting for these people should be extended to prevent secondary transmission events. 展开更多

Fusion-evaporation cross sections of^(238)U(^(9)Be,5n)^(242)Cm are measured over a wide energy range around the Coulomb barrier.These measured cross sections are compared with model calculations using two codes,namely HIVAP2 and KE WPIE2.HIVAP2 calculations overestimate the measured fusion-evaporation cross sections by a factor of approximately 3.In KEWPIE2 calculations,two approaches,namely the Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin(WKB)approximation and the empirical barrier-distribution(EBD)method,are used for the capture probability;both of them properly describe the measured cross sections.Additionally,fusion cross sections of^(7.9)Be+^(238)Umeas-ured in two experiments are applied to constrain model calculations further through three codes,i.e,HIVAP2,KEWPIE2,and CCFULL.Parameters in these codes are also examined by comparison with measured fusion cross sections.AIll the comparisons indicate that the K EWPIE2 calculations using the WKB approximation agree well with the measured cross sections of both fusion reactions 7.9 Be+^(238)U and the fusion-evaporation reaction 238U(9 Be,5n)242 Cm.Calculations using the fusion code CCFULL are also in good agreement with the measured fusion cross sections of 7.9 Be+^(238)U. 展开更多

Purpose We are building an MRTOF-MS(multi-reflection time-of-flight mass spectrometer)for isobaric separation for the Lanzhou Penning Trap.The potentials applied on the electrodes of our MRTOF mass analyzer operating in in-trap-lift mode have to be optimized to achieve a very high mass resolving power.Methods Our method to design and optimize an MRTOF mass analyzer has been updated to introduce constraints on the potentials,and this method now can be used to optimize the parameters of MRTOF-MS both operating in mirror-switching mode and in in-trap-lift mode.By using this method,the optimal potential parameters of the electrodes have been obtained for our MRTOF mass analyzer operating in the in-trap-lift mode.Results and conclusion With a beam size of 2.8 mm diameter and an initial average ion kinetic energy of 1500 eV,the maximal mass resolving power has been achieved to be 3.2×10^(4) with a total TOF of 7.0 ms for an ion species of ^(40)Ar^(1+).It can reach up to 5.6×10^(4) for a beam size of 0.3 mm diameter.The simulation shows that the inaccuracy of the potentials applied on the outermost mirror electrodes M1–M2 must be less than 50 ppm or preferably 20 ppm. 展开更多
