Recent advances in minimally invasive total hip replacement surgery approaches

Minimally invasive surgery is a technology that has been seeking breakthroughs in surgery.It is a common goal of both doctors and patients.At present,artificial hip arthroplasty has been in clinical application for more than fifty years,and has been fully affirmed.In recent years,minimally invasive techniques have been applied more clinically.And minimally invasive has the advantages of less bleeding,early postoperative activities and more are accepted by more and more surgeons.However,the current minimally invasive total hip replacement approach is different.This article reviews the approaches and advantages and disadvantages of the minimally invasive artificial hip joint replacements currently used in the clinic in order to provide new ideas for clinical minimally invasive total hip replacement.

Research progress in the treatment of femoral head necrosis with traditional Chinese medicine

Ischemic necrosis of femur bones is a world problem that has not yet been fully cured in the development of orthopedics around the world, and the motherland medicine has named it "bone erosion". As bone necrosis progresses, it can lead to irreversible bone damage, which often causes severe hip disability. Modern medicine is mostly through surgical intervention, but its long-term effect is not clear. And Chinese medicine has great advantages in the treatment of the disease and economic, from the treatment of this theory, looking for the basic factors causing disease, and gradually by the modern medical community attention. This paper makes a review by consulting the literature of Chinese medicine for bone necrosis in the past 5 years.

Clinical effect of sodium hyaluronate joint cavity filling combined with exercise therapy on patients with post-traumatic knee arthritis

Objective:To research the sodium hyaluronate joint cavity filling combined with exercise therapy on the indicator of pain,motor function,and levels of inflammatory factors in joint fluid in patients with post-traumatic knee arthritis.Method Totally 100 patients(Department of Orthopaedics,The second Affiliated Hospital to Liaoning University of Chinese Medicine,2013.10-2018.8)with post-traumatic knee arthritis were selected,then they were divided into observation group(n=50)and control group(n=50).The control group was given glucosamine sulfate and sodium hyaluronate joint cavity filling,the observation group was given leg press with visual feedback,they were treated 4 weeks.Assessing the pain degree through visual analog scale(VAS),hospital for special surgery knee score(HSS)as the indicator of motor function,inflammatory factor(TNF-α,IL-6,and IL-8)in the joint fluid.Results The score of VAS were lower than pretherapy(P<0.05),the degree of VAS of observation group were lower than control group(P<0.05).The score of HSS were higher than pretherapy(P<0.05),the degree of VAS of observation group were higher than control group(P<0.05).The inflammatory factor(TNF-α,IL-6,and CRP)in the joint fluid were lower than pretherapy(P<0.05),and the observation group were lower than control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Giving sodium hyaluronate joint cavity filling combined with exercise therapy can improve the function of joint.

Advances in research on preparation of canine femoral head necrosis by liquid nitrogen freezing

Femoral head necrosis has become one of the common and difficult diseases of orthopedics,and its incidence is now on a clear upward trend.If the effective treatment is not carried out in the early stage,it will lead to the collapse of local necrotic bone,which will seriously endanger human health and even cause it to lose its ability to work and self-care,and eventually cause disability.Its treatment program has not made great breakthroughs at home and abroad.However,an animal model that fully reflects human osteonecrosis has not yet been fully replicated.Therefore,it is necessary to establish an animal model that can conform to the pathological evolution process of avascular necrosis of human femoral head.It is necessary to study the preparation of liquid nitrogen-type ONFH model by reviewing relevant literatures at home and abroad in recent years.
