Its glassy structure was confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD). Its corrosion behavior in HCl and NaCl solutions was investigated by electrochemical polarization measurement. The surfaces before and after corrosion were observed with scanning electron microscope (SEM) and analysis was performed using electron dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). The results show that the decrease of current density is due to the formation of a mixture of simple oxides or complex oxidic compounds. In both cases, the corrosion potential decreases with increasing chloride concentration. The passive film forms easier in HCl than in NaCl. In addition, the higher is the chloride concentration, the easier is the passivation.展开更多

The peripheral blood NK cell content and serum tumor marker contents of two groups of subjects were determined, and the proliferation molecule expression levels in lung cancer focus tissue and focus tissue adjacent to carcinoma of NSCLC group were determined. Results:Peripheral blood NK cell content of NSCLC group was significantly lower than that of control group;serum CEA, CA125, Cyfra21-1 and HE4 contents were significantly higher than those of control group, and serum CEA, CA125, Cyfra21-1 and HE4 contents of NSCLC patients with high NK cell content were significantly lower than those of NSCLC patients with low NK cell content;c-myc, c-FLIP, Livin, Moesin and k-ras protein expression in lung cancer focus tissue were significantly higher than those in focus tissue adjacent to carcinoma, and c-myc, c-FLIP, Livin, Moesin and k-ras protein expression in lung cancer focus tissue with high NK cell content were significantly lower than those in lung cancer focus tissue with low NK cell content. Conclusion: Peripheral blood NK cell content significantly reduces in patients with NSCLC and is associated with the cancer cell proliferation activity.展开更多

To overcome this limitation, plasma catalytic reduction of COto CO in a catalyst-filled dielectric barrier discharge(DBD) reactor is studied. An enhanced effect of plasma on the reaction over Au/CeOcatalysts is observed. For both the conventionally catalytic(CC) and plasma catalytic(PC, Pin= 15 W) reactions under conditions of 400 °C, H/CO= 1,200 SCCM, GHSV = 12,000 mL·gcat·h, COconversions over Au/CeOreach 15.4% and 25.5% due to the presence of Au, respectively, however, those over CeOare extremely low and negligible. Moreover,COconversion over Au/CeOin the PC reaction exceeds 22.4% of the TE conversion. Surface intermediate species formed on the catalyst samples during the reactions are determined by in-situ temperatureprogrammed decomposition(TPD) technique. Interestingly, it disclosed that in the PC reaction, the formation of formate intermediate is enhanced by plasma, and the acceleration by plasma in the decomposition of formate species is much greater than that in the formation of formate species on Au/CeO. Enhancement factor is introduced to quantify the enhanced effect of plasma. Lower reactor temperature, higher gas hourly space velocity(GHSV), and lower molar ratio of H/COwould be associated with larger enhancement factor.展开更多

Methods: Between March 1998 and March 2001, 26 patients with periampullary tumors received pancre- aticoduodenectomy (PD) with Roux-Y anastomosis to reconstruct the digestive tract. Of these patients, 6 had ductal cell carcinoma at the head of the pan- creas, 8 distal common bile duct carcinoma, 5 amp- ullar adenocarcinoma of the Vater, 6 duodenal ade- nocarcinoma, and 1 duodenal malignant lynphoma. A 30-40 cm free vascularized segment of the proxi- mal jejunum was taken and pulled up to the bed of the duodenum for end-to-end pancreaticojejunosto- my, end-to-side choledocojejunostomy or side-to-side jejunojejunostomy by a single loop. Results: The operative mortality was zero. Postoper- ative intraabdominal hemorrhage occurred in 2 pa- tients, but no leakage during pancreaticojejunostomy or choledocojejunostomy as well as abdominal infec- tion. The patients were discharged from the hospital on the tenth to fourteenth day after operation. Fol- low-up for 5 to 36 months (mean 21 months) re- vealed chronic steatorrhea and malnutrition in one patient (3.85%), and good digestive function and normal nutritional status in 25 (96.15%). No bile reflux gastritis, retrograde infection, anastomotic ul- cer, and dumping syndrome were observed. Conclusion: Our results show that this procedure can effectively reduce the morbidity and mortality of pa- tients after PD.展开更多
