In this work, a number of Li4SiO4-based sorbents synthesized by lithium carbonate with three different kinds of fly ashes in various molar ratios were developed. The results indicate that the Li2CO3:SiO2 mole ratio used in the sorbents synthesis significantly affects the CO2 absorption properties. The sorption capacity increased with the excess of Li2CO3 first and then decreased when the excessive quantity was beyond a certain amount. The experiments found that FA-Li4SiO4_0.6, CFA-Li4SiO4_0.4, HCl/CFA-Li4SiO4_0.3 presented the best sorption ability among these fly ash derived Li<span style="font-family:Verdana;">4</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">SiO</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">4</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> samples, and the corresponding weight gain was 28.2 wt%, 25.1 wt% and 32.5 wt%, respectively. The three sorbents with the optimal molar ratio were characterized using various morphological </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">characterization techniques and evaluated by thermogravimetric analysis </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">for their capacity to chemisorb CO2 at 450</span><span><span><span style="font-family:;" "=""><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Helvetica, Arial;white-space:normal;background-color:#FFFFFF;">°</span></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">C</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> - 650</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Helvetica, Arial;white-space:normal;background-color:#FFFFFF;">°</span></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"></span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">C</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">, diluted CO2 (10%, 20%) and in presence of water vapor (12%). The adsorption curve of FA- Li4SiO4_0.6 at different temperatures was simulated with the Jander-Zhang model to explore the influence of carbon dioxide diffusion on adsorption reaction. Further experiments showed that the adsorbent had a good sorption capacity in a lower partial pressure of CO2 and the presence of steam enhanced the mobility of Li+. What’s more, FA-Li4SiO4_0.6, CFA-Li4SiO4_0.4 and HCl/CFA-Li4SiO4_0.3 particles showed satisfactory sorption capacity in fixed-bed reactor and excellent cyclic sorption stability during 10 sorption/ desorption cycles.</span></span></span></span>展开更多

In this paper, we investigate the pilot design and channel estimation problem in MIMO-OFDM-based C-V2X systems with severe co-channel interference due to spectrum reusing among different V2X communication links. By using zero-correlation zone(ZCZ) sequences, we provide an interference-free pilot design scheme and a corresponding time-domain(TD) correlation-based channel estimation(TD-CCE) method. We employ the ZCZ sequences from the same family set to be designed as the TD pilot symbols and guarantee the pilot sequeneces for neighboring V2X communication links are code-division multiplexing(CDM). The co-channel pilot interference of the deisgned pilot symbols can be effectively eliminated by exploiting the provided TD-CCE method. Simulation results indicate that the accuracy of channel estimation can be effectively improved by the proposed scheme, whose performance is close to that of the non-interference situation.展开更多

Study Design: the development of gynecology and gynecological nursing consists of six periods in Chinese history. They are: 1) budding stage represented by the inscriptions of Nü (female) on oracle bones;2) physiological development stages of women;3) specialized chapters of gynecology in TCM;4) features of gynecological nursing;5) monograph of gynecology and gynecological nursing;6) integration of ancient gynecological nursing perceptions. Results: TCM has a profound understanding of gynecology and gynecological nursing. For period one, the inscriptions of Nü (female) on oracle bones is the symbol of the budding stage. For period two, physiogenesis stages of women are recorded in The Yellow Emperor of Classics of Inner Medicine. For period three, the specialized chapters of gynecology appeared, represented by Golden Chamber, Woman. For period four, the features of gynecological nursing were elaborated in Essential Prescriptions Worth A Thousand Gold including menstruation, depression, yin-dampness, and menopause. For period five, monographs of gynecology and gynecological nursing represented by Good Comprehensive Woman Formulae appeared. For period six, Integrative studies of gynecological nursing perceptions were carried out with the representation by Integrated Ancient and Modern Books. Conclusion: TCM gynecology and gynecological nursing harbors a long history of treating and nursing gynecological disorders. With therapeutic and nursing modalities, they are effective systems of un-derstanding and managing woman health as proven by medical literatures, clinical benefits and basic research studies.展开更多

In Chinese medicine, emotional disorders and mental illnesses are classified as emotion-will (Qing Zhi) disorders. Emotion-will, i.e. seven emotions (Qi Qing: happiness, anger, anxiety, pensiveness, sorrow, fear, and fright) and five wills (Wu Zhi: happiness, anger, thinking, sorrow, and fear), play a basic role in the onset, progress and prognosis of almost all diseases, not only the mental illnesses. The emotion-will overcoming therapy (EWOT) is defined as a psychological approach that a therapist employs single or multiple emotions to overcome and eliminate patients’ abnormal morbid emotions and to heal mind-body disorders derived from the abnormality. EWOT lays a foundation for the philosophical foundation of Chinese medicine, i.e. Yin and Yang, and five elements, which is believed to be the most commonly utilized and effective modality in dealing with mental illnesses. This essay covers the origin and development, underlying mechanism, clinical application, basic researches of emotion-will system and EWOT and the comparison with conventional therapies. Thus, EWOT could draw more attention in the field of psychology and spread in clinical practice.展开更多
