Effect of Nursing Intervention Based on Caprini Risk Assessment Scale for Venous Thromboembolism in Perioperative Patients with Liver Cancer

Objective:To explore the effect of nursing intervention based on Caprini risk assessment scale for venous thromboembolism(VTE)in perioperative patients with liver cancer.Methods:A total of 128 hepatocellular cancer(HCC)patients who were hospitalized in our department from January 2021 to March 2022 and met the research criteria were selected.According to odd and even numbers in the order of inclusion,64 cases were divided into two groups:a control group and an observation group.The control group received routine nursing intervention during perioperative period,while the observation group received nursing intervention based on Caprini risk assessment scale for VTE.The incidence of VTE and complications were compared between the two groups.Results:The incidence of VTE and postoperative complications in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Nursing intervention based on Caprini risk assessment scale for VTE can reduce the incidence of perioperative deep vein thrombosis and complications in patients with liver cancer;thus,it is worthy of clinical application.

Research Progress of the Application of“Internet+”Nursing in Patients with Liver Cancer

Objective:To explore the application effect of“Internet+”nursing in patients discharged from hospital after liver cancer operation.Methods:A total of 90 patients who underwent hepatocellular carcinoma resection in Shaanxi Provincial People’s Hospital from November 2019 to August 2020 were divided into an observation group(n=45)and a control group(n=45)randomly by drawing lots.The control group received routine discharge health guidance while the observation group underwent an“Internet+”nursing through hospital Internet information platforms,online consultation,and so on.Patients of both groups returned to the hospital one month after discharge and filled in the questionnaire.The incidence of adverse reactions,quality of life,and level of hope were compared between the two groups 1 month after discharge.Results:The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The quality of life and level of hope of patients in the observation group were significantly higher than those in control group and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:“Internet+”nursing service plays a positive role in improving the patients’about their disease and their quality of life after discharge from hospital after liver cancer operation,which is worthy of popularization in clinical practice.

Application Effect of Medium-Length Peripheral Catheter in Critically Ill Patients Undergoing Hepatobiliary Surgery

Objective:To investigate the effect of using peripheral medium-length catheters in critically ill patients undergoing hepatobiliary surgery.Methods:A retrospective analysis of the nursing experience and effect of using medium-length catheters for infusion in 102 critically ill patients undergoing hepatobiliary surgery from March 2021 to April 2022 was conducted.Results:All 102 patients had successful catheter placement with no catheter-associated infections,blockage,decannulation,or breakage.However,four cases had blood oozing from the puncture site,but it resolved after changing the dressing.Conclusion:Medium-length catheters are superior to traditional infusion tools in terms of benefit;thus,they deserve to be widely promoted in clinical practice.

Clinical Analysis of Gemcitabine Combined with Tegafur Chemotherapy after Radical Surgery on Pancreatic Cancer

Objective:To study and analyze the clinical efficacy of gemcitabine combined with Tegafur chemotherapy after radical resection of pancreatic cancer.Methods:The subjects of the study were 200 patients who were admitted to the hospital from January 2018 to February 2021 requiring chemotherapy after radical resection of pancreatic cancer.According to the different treatment methods,they were divided into a experimental group(gemcitabine combined with Tegafur chemotherapy)and a control group(single gemcitabine chemotherapy),and the treatment efficacy of the two groups of patients was observed and compared.Results:Compared with the control group,patients in the experimental group had significantly better treatment efficacy,quality of life scores and post-treatment anxiety and depression scores.The difference between the groups was significant(p<0.05).Conclusion:Gemcitabine combined with Tegafur chemotherapy for patients requiring chemotherapy after radical resection of pancreatic cancer can significantly improve the treatment efficacy for the disease,improve the patient's quality of life,and ensure that the patient's emotional state during treatment is more positive.
