桐城派學者賀培新藏書入藏國家圖書館考述——兼論藏書家研究的開放性思路

桐城派學者賀培新(賀孔才)於1949年新中國成立前夕向國家捐贈的圖書,版本價值雖無十分特别之處,但在這樣一個特殊時刻而有這樣的特殊舉動,其藏書版本價值之外的文化情懷更值得肯定。而因爲一些歷史原因,這批現藏於國家圖書館的圖書,雖前後編有幾種目録,然各個目録之間互有差異,需要在核對原書的基礎上進一步厘整統一。作爲向被視爲守舊象徵的桐城派的重要人物,賀培新收藏大量關於現代、西方文明的書籍,同樣是值得關注的現象。如何對待賀培新這樣的并非十分重要却比較獨特的藏書家及其藏書,應該是當代藏書史研究需要深入思考的問題。
