Temporal variations of reference evapotranspiration and its sensitivity to meteorological factors in Heihe River Basin, China 被引量:6

On the basis of daily meteorological data from 15 meteorological stations in the Heihe River Basin (HRB) during the period from 1959 to 2012, long-term trends of reference evapotranspiration (ET0) and key meteorological factors that affect ET0 were analyzed using the Mann- Kendall test. The evaporation paradox was also investigated at 15 meteorological stations. In order to explore the contribution of key meteo- rological factors to the temporal variation of ET0, a sensitivity coefficient method was employed in this study. The results show that: (1) mean annual air temperature significantly increased at all 15 meteorological stations, while the mean annual ET0 decreased at most of sites; (2) the evaporation paradox did exist in the HRB, while the evaporation paradox was not continuous in space and time; and (3) relative humidity was the most sensitive meteorological factor with regard to the temporal variation of ET0 in the HRB, followed by wind speed, air temperature, and solar radiation. Air temperature and solar radiation contributed most to the temporal variation of ETo in the upper reaches; solar radiation and wind speed were the determining factors for the temporal variation of ET0 in the middle-lower reaches. 展开更多

Linhe National Meteorological Station, a representative weather station in the Hetao Irrigation District of China, was selected as the research site for the present study. Changes in climatic variables and reference evapotranspiration (ET0 ) (estimated by the Penman-Monteith method) were detected using Mann-Kendall tests and Sen's slope estimator, respectively. The authors analyzed the relationship between the ET0 change and each climatic variable's change. From 1954 to 2012, the air temperature showed a significant increasing trend, whereas relative humidity and wind speed decreased dramatically. These changes resulted in a slight increase in ETo. The radiative component of total ET0 increased from 50% to 57%, indicating that this component made a greater contribution to the increase in total ETo than the aerodynamic component, especially during the crop growing season (from April to October). The sensitivity analysis showed that ETo in Hetao is most sensitive to mean daily air temperature (11.8%), followed by wind speed (-7.3%) and relative humidity (4.8%). Changes in sunshine duration had only a minor effect on ET0 over the past 59 years. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Portal vein thrombosis(PVT)was previously a contraindication for trans-jugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt(TIPS).AIM To perform a systematic review and meta-analysis of the current available studies investigating outcomes of TIPS for cirrhotic patient with PVT.METHODS Multiple databases were systematically searched to identify studies investigating the outcomes of TIPS for cirrhotic patients with PVT.The quality of studies was assessed by Cochrane Collaboration method and Methodological Index for Non-Randomized Studies.The demographic data,outcomes,combined treatment,and anticoagulation strategy were extracted.RESULTS Twelve studies were identified with 460 patients enrolled in the analysis.The technical success rate was 98.9%in patients without portal vein cavernous transformation and 92.3%in patients with portal vein cavernous transformation.One-year portal vein recanalization rate was 77.7%,and TIPS patency rate was 84.2%.The cumulative encephalopathy rate was 16.4%.One-year overall survival was 87.4%.CONCLUSION TIPS is indicated for portal hypertension related complications and the restoration of pre-transplantation portal vein patency in cirrhotic patients with PVT.Cavernous transfor-mation is an indicator for technical failure.Post-TIPS anticoagulation seems not mandatory.Simultaneous TIPS and percutaneous mechanical thrombectomy device could achieve accelerated portal vein recanalization and decreased thrombolysis-associated complications,but further investigation is still needed. 展开更多

Pikas(Lagomorpha: Ochotonidae) are small mouselike lagomorphs. To investigate their adaptation to different ecological environments during their dispersal from the Qinghai-Xizang(Tibet) Plateau(QTP), we collected 226 pikas and measured 20 morphological characteristics and recorded habitat information. We also sequenced the genome of 81specimens, representing 27 putative pika species.The genome-wide tree based on 4?090 coding genes identified five subgenera, i.e., Alienauroa, Conothoa,Lagotona, Ochotona, and Pika, consistent with morphometric data. Morphologically, Alienauroa and Ochotona had similar traits, including smaller size and earlier divergence time compared to other pikas.Consistently, the habitats of Alienauroa and Ochotona differed from those of the remaining subgenera. Phylogenetic signal analysis detected 83 genes significantly related to morphological characteristics, including several visual and hearingrelated genes. Analysis of shared amino acid substitutions and positively selected genes(PSGs) in Alienauroa and Ochotona identified two genes, i.e.,mitochondrial function-related TSFM(p.Q155E) and low-light visual sensitivity-related PROM1(p.H419Y).Functional experiments demonstrated that TSFM-155E significantly enhanced mitochondrial function compared to TSFM-155Q in other pikas, and PROM1-419Y decreased the modeling of dynamic intracellular chloride efflux upon calcium uptake. Alienauroa and Ochotona individuals mostly inhabit different environments(e.g., subtropical forests) than other pikas, suggesting that a shift from the larger ancestral type and changes in sensory acuity and energy enhancement may have been required in their new environments.
