Based on deep learning, we propose an intellige...In the environment of smart examination rooms, it is important to quickly and accurately detect abnormal behavior(human standing) for the construction of a smart campus. Based on deep learning, we propose an intelligentstanding human detection (ISHD) method based on an improved single shot multibox detector to detect thetarget of standing human posture in the scene frame of exam room video surveillance at a specific examinationstage. ISHD combines the MobileNet network in a single shot multibox detector network, improves the posturefeature extractor of a standing person, merges prior knowledge, and introduces transfer learning in the trainingstrategy, which greatly reduces the computation amount, improves the detection accuracy, and reduces the trainingdifficulty. The experiment proves that the model proposed in this paper has a better detection ability for the smalland medium-sized standing human body posture in video test scenes on the EMV-2 dataset.展开更多
The objectives of this study were to systematically compare phenolic profiles,carotenoids profiles and antioxidant activities of raw and cooked sweet potatoes of five varieties(white,yellow,orange,light purple and dee...The objectives of this study were to systematically compare phenolic profiles,carotenoids profiles and antioxidant activities of raw and cooked sweet potatoes of five varieties(white,yellow,orange,light purple and deep purple).Total phenolic content(TPC),monomeric anthocyanin content(MAC),total carotenoid content(TCC),2-diohenyl-1-picryhydrazyl(DPPH)free radical scavenging capacities and ferric reducing antioxidant powder(FRAP)were determined by colorimetric methods.Higher anthocyanin contents and antioxidant capacities were detected in purple sweet potato species,while higher carotenoid contents were detected in yellow and orange sweet potato.All cooked sweet potato exhibited significantly(p<0.05)lower TPC,MAC,TCC,DPPH and FRAP values as compared to the respective raw samples.Under the same cooking time,steaming was good for the retention of TPC,roasting was good for keeping anthocyanins,and boiling was beneficial to preserve carotenoids.展开更多
Age-related declines in fertilization success have been reported for a wide range of species.The fertilization of parasitic wasps is closely related to egg production and sperm storage.Aenasius bambawalei(Hymenoptera:...Age-related declines in fertilization success have been reported for a wide range of species.The fertilization of parasitic wasps is closely related to egg production and sperm storage.Aenasius bambawalei(Hymenoptera:Encyridae)is a key parasitic wasp of the important invasive mealybug Phenacoccus solenopsis(Hemiptera:Pseudococcidae).The female offspring ratio of this parasitic wasp was declined with parental age in mass rearing under laboratory conditions.To investigate the molecular mechanisms involved in the reproduction of A.bambawalei,an extensive analysis of the impact of age on transcriptome profile of mated ovaries of this wasp was performed by comparing the gene expression profiles of various maternal ages:the early stage(ES),the intermediate stage(IS),and the advanced stage(AS).In total,358 differentially expressed genes were identified,with 17.60%(63 genes)of the changes associated with greater expression in fertilization.Moreover,the expression of serine protease 47 precursor,serine protease inhibitor 3/4,glucose dehydrogenase,fatty acyl-CoA reductase 1-like,major royal jelly,and acyl-CoA delta(11)desaturase-like was detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative(RT-qPCR).The results showed that fertilization related genes exhibited a stage-specific pattern.Egg production and sperm storage genes in A.bambawalei were significantly modified in the transcriptome,providing a starting point for the genetic dissection of fertilization.展开更多
